The hosts were very good and we were promptly sat down. The bartender/waiter took our drink orders very quickly and we waited.. 20 minutes for our drink orders. We then asked one of the servers to grab the drinks that were waiting on the bar and they were then delivered however they did not take our food order. Given that we were heading to a show, we decided to change our food order and just order nachos which was not only an inconvenience but also a loss for the restaurant as there were 7 of us. We asked nervously if the nachos were be ready in time, they said yes - it definitely should take less than 15 minutes. It took 15min and so we had 5 min to eat before we had to leave. We actually paid for the nachos before they even arrived and quickly ran to our event. Unfortunately this was not a good experience and I am slightly embarrassed as I had suggested the place for everyone.

Noah our server was great. The food could have been better. Husbands was cold. Steak should have medium rare and it was hard. french fries were cold and hard. First time there. Do not recommend. Kanata is awesome. Too bad.

Great night at Jack Astor’s Bubble bowls and service were awesome. The burgers were pretty mushy. Won’t order that again. The wings and chicken parmigiana pasta were great as always. The vibe was so fun. Always a good time.

Fun for families. They have a basketball court and shuffleboard table for kids/adults to use while waiting for their food. Chicken fingers with Singing Bee sauce are to die for.

WoW ! It is the second time I go to Jack Astor’s on a night of an event and they really blow it ! We waoted over 30 mins to get a drink order ! We had full intentions in getting food but after 1 hour of no service we had to actually grab a waitress and ask for our bills and we left hungry and unhappy. This place has been decent on a slow night ... but give them any challenge and they seem to fall short every time ... I will consider giving them another chance but definitely not in the immediate future

The chicken fingers were the best I have ever had!! All 4 meals were hot and tasty. We were there on a Redblacks game night and service was fantastic!! I found the music on the patio far too loud and asked the waitress if it could be turned down a bit and she said she had to ask the manager and to our surprise it was turned down enough for us to hear our conversation. Much appreciated manager!! Thanks!

Jack Astors is a wonderful restaurant however be warned that outdoor parking is limited and restricted to parking meters. we constantly watched our watches + had to leave our table to add more $ to the meter. just a small bother.

I forgot the server's name, but she was amazing.....very attentive and very polite and cheery!!!! The noise level could have been a bit louder actually as the Leafs won and no-one really cheered.....they must have been Sens fans!!!! Great place.....we go there every time I am in from Toronto!

Service was slower than we are used too. Waiter had far too large of a section and we kept having empty beers. :( Ordered fajitas for two and fajitas for one. The two dishes coming to the table were too much and the smoke alarm went off. I was mortified. If I could have crawled under the table I would have. We got far too many dirty looks from staff and customers for my liking. When we really could have used the extra beers at that point. (Drink the embarrassment away)

Our starters came with out main meal. We didn’t make a big deal. Midway through the meals manager came over and said she would be taking care of the starters on our bill and apologized for the fact they can with our meal. This to me is top customer service. Acknowledging the mistake and compensating the customer before the customer complains.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. We brought a cake, balloons, and presents for a friend’s daughters birthday to make it a surprise. They made the whole process easy and a lot of fun!

Yes, however I was disappointed with the fish and chips. I ordered it again because the first time it was very good......lots of fish and tasty batter. However, this time there was little fish and the batter was greasy. The burger was excellent.
