   We had a lovely Valentines Dinner. The Cajun Salmon was excellent as was the Sesame Chicken Rice Bowl. Service was good and we enjoyed an early casual date nite.

   Was great ! Loved enjoying a meal without children. Good food (it’s pricey everywhere these days I get it). Fairy busy so noise level was up but that’s ok staff was wonderful. Lots of teamwork and great attitudes witnessed.

   Our server Ashley was great. Unfortunatley fajitas were removed from the menu which was disappointing especially for someone celiac I was looking forward to lots of veggies! They were also out of steaks which is always an option for a celiac person. I opted for the Sesame Thai bowl which was really good! Overall a nice dinner

   We went to celebrate Father’s Day with my father in law and husband. The food was good, a little over priced but I am in the hospitality industry and understand that prices are high right now and there is nothing we can do about that. I was disappointed in our server however. She didn’t seem to want to work for a tip. She came to the table no greeting or anything asked if we were ready to order we said we still need a few minutes but asked for a cup of hot water to warm a bottle for our daughter. She brought the water asked if we were ready yet. We said sure, we ordered our food which came out in a timely matter. She dropped off the food we didn’t see her again until she came to clear plates. My father in law and I were finished my husband who was taking care of our daughter was not. However she took mine and my father in laws plates and said are you ready for the bill. We said no as my husband was not finished yet. He then felt very rushed to finish his meal. She came back room his plate offered dessert but at that point we just wanted the bill. She brought the bill we paid and left. I understand that it was a holiday weekend however we had our meal before the rush and yet we felt very rushed by our server. The food was good but I would choose a different location next time.

   The waitress was awesome! I'm sorry I'm bad with names ... I don't remember her name. Food was delicious and brought out in a timely manner. Very friendly atmosphere. It was an enjoyable evening with my family.

    Service and food were very good. We went for dinner on a Thursday evening at 5:30pm. The restaurant had only a few customers at that time. One table was celebrating a birthday and the staff sang to them and provided a special dessert. I informed the restaurant that it was my husbands 70th birthday when I made the reservations . Unfortunately the same special birthday gathering was not provided at our table. This was actually one of the reasons we had dinner at Jack Astors. Having said this, we will definately go back .

    Had to ask who would be taking our order about 20 minutes in just sitting and waiting and basically continued from there in on the same note. Don't really need the overbearing waitress type, but at least check if someone might be interested in ordering something throughout the night.

    OpenTable was not correct in their reservation program. I tried to book 5:45 for the day in question. It was available and then booked as I was unable to finish my response. I had two other choices 7 and 7:30. I contacted the restaurant myself to find I could definitely take a 5:45 spot. The comment from the lady at the restaurant was, gladly they’d take us. It wasn’t busy at all. To find when we got there no more than 5 tables were being used. I would suspect that others would not call and move onto another choice in restaurant, therefore Jack Astors loosing business. I feel that I would definitely call the restaurant before using opentable again. We have used this service many times in the US but not happy with this experience.

    Always enjoy dining at Jack Astor’s. The food was terrific as always! 10/10 recommendation for the Buddha Salad. I would ask if they could put extras strawberries through. Try were so fresh and delicious! The best part about the Buddha salad if you are gluten sensitive, it’s gluten free and vegetarian. Im sure you could ask for it to be vegan by asking if they could remove the goat cheese.The chips and guac were fantastic too. Our service was okay. Our sever might have been new, she asked us for our order, didn’t write it down, and than came back because she forgot our order. Once we got the food the server didn’t come back for w good amount of time to do a quality check, we were probably half was through our meal before she came back. From where we were sitting it didn’t seem like she had other tables, so not sure why it took so long for a quality check, but we also didn’t know how big her section was either. The manger did come over at the beginning of service if we have been taken care of as a well.

    A little bit disappointed that they placed us directly under the sun to dine with kids. There were available spaces and yet they would rather give it to new guests because “we were already assigned to the table”. Not all items were available on the menu and their service was very slow. No second chance this location. Will try other Jack Astors instead

    This location has only been open for 3 days since the COVID closure bit you couldn’t tell. The service was spot on as was the food. Their takeout was crazy busy but they kept all timelines like it was a normal day. All tables were very clean and EVERY table was thoroughly cleaned between customers. Very happy

    Our reservation for 6 resulted in being seated in a booth for 4. They offered to place a chair at the end of the booth which was a partial solution. Eventually, 2 of our party sat at a separate booth. To make matters worse, our reservation was during one of the hottest heatwaves of the summer (>40 degrees with humidex) and their air conditioning was not working properly. As the restaurant continued to fill up with patrons, the heat intensified. The air blowing from the vents appeared mainly to be recirculating the already warm air in the restaurant. It was not even cool, let alone cold. When we mentioned it to the server, it was acknowledged that it wasn't working properly but no other explanation provided. It was so uncomfortable that we ate very fast just to leave the restaurant and to return to an air conditioned car in our sweaty summer attire. We noticed that it was a bit cooler in the bar area and even on the outside patio! We have eaten at this location in the past on cooler days and were satisfied. We will not be returning until we know their air conditioning is fixed.
