The food is still incredible. It's a little loud in there and if the sun is out it can be very warm near the window. Otherwise, this place is a solid brunch and dinner spot.

Jackson’s is as cozy as the food and drinks they serve. Even the music choices are great and at a volume where you’re not yelling to talk to people but still enough to hear the music. No real flaws: Friendly Staff, More than one clean spacious bathroom, located near public transportation. It’s hard to beat. Highly Recommend

The food was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back. The seating however was a little too tight; felt squished in, but we may try outdoor dining next time. Still super worth it!

Service was bad. Waited to order for a long time. Plates were not cleared. We we’re celebrating a birthday and we’re never ask if we wanted desert. Surprised since our brunch was so good the last time we were there.

All of the food had great presentation value, except the fried chicken sandwich, which was lackluster both in looks and taste. The pancakes side was quite large, beautifully fluffy, and excellent to taste. The eggs benedict had a unique quality, and both the breakfast potatoes and salad were good. The jalapeno hollandaise disappointed me as it was not spicy or noticeably different from a standard bland topping. The bloody mary was good and came in a cute can. The Irish coffee came in a cute snowman mug and was just fine.

Very quaint and hip establishment in LIC. We were seated right away and the great service never ceased . The brunch had your typical comfort selection as well as unique curated selections. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles , the chicken was bone-in with a flavorful coating .

Everything was going great until the people next to us had a friend come by and he sat between herself and I. Our tables were for 2 however they turned their table into a 3. I was very uncomfortably especially since he was in my space while I was trying to enjoy my meal and celebrate my birthday. I felt this to be very rude and un-sanitary especially with everything that’s going on.

Positive - Easy to get seated with a reservation, space is nice. Not as positive - took an hour to get our entre which consisted of tomato soup, grilled cheese, the "brisket" sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. Food didn't actually come out until we asked for it. Food itself was forgettable, the spinach artichoke dip was creamy, and cheese was melted on top, but otherwise just cream cheese with unrecognizable green bits. Tomato soup and grilled cheese was underwhelming - not much of a step up from what we make at home. Finally, the brisket sandwich didn't seem much like brisket at all, more like overcooked slices of roast beef. Overall, nice excuse to get out of the house, but food/service wasn't enough to come back for.

Amazing food and service! We were seated immediately upon arrival for our reservation. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came within 15 minutes of ordering. The servings were huge and delicious. Will definitely be back again. :)

One of the best NYC brunches I've been to! Friendly staff, tasty southern dishes, fair portion sizes. We also had a party of 4 with the spacious corner table. The only con was the flies. Being that we were in the corner, I'm not sure if that's where they gather, or every other table was experiencing it. It did feel like we were having an outdoor picnic with the flies, but they weren't distracting enough to prevent me from coming back. Service was friendly, and the food staff are ON IT in terms of picking up plates. Once you take your last bite, "Are you done with that?" Boom. Staff are right there to pick up your plate. Overall, a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Service was wonderful. Food was not as good as last time, per my friend's assessment of the dish she got that she had ordered during our last visit. I ordered shrimp and grits and was underwhelmed. I also have celiac and our waitress, while she was great, swore (her words) that the dish was gluten free. I am sick today, most likely due to the dish not being gluten free. My friends and I were allowed to linger for several hours. It was noisy and got hot in the restaurant during brunch service, then it quieted and cooled down. I will definitely go back, but I will be more careful about what I order.
