About Jamjar on Granville
Jamjar is inspired by East Mediterranean flavours that utilize fresh vegetables, olive oil, & lemon juice as a base for dishes that are crafted with aromatic spices & cooked with passion. Jamjar brings you meals you would normally only find in Lebanese homes paired with flat bread all creatively presented in a warm industrial setting.

Jamjar on Granville Ratings and Reviews
Great food and a lovely ambiance. Our group had a fabulous time!
The tables are too packed together on the side with the windows. When all diners are seated, there really isn’t enough room for people/waitstaff to walk by. They were always squeezing through. Very disruptive to the dining experience. Food was nothing to write home about. The cauliflower dish was over salty.
Really enjoyed the food especially the cauliflower and the prawn dish. Very creative. Service was very good. A bit drafty near the door
Fantastic food, some good wines and beer too. Fairly casual, but great atmosphere.
This was my fourth JamJar experience, but the first time for my three friends. One friend was unhappy with his first cocktail but LOVED the food and the other drinks he ordered. I found the food to be flavourful and imaginative, and our server, Edila, made excellent suggestions for our meal! We will definitely come back.
The Lebanese style mainly vegetarian dishes is a very trendy direction in the young dining scene and JJ comes up tops!
Was this their day off? I mean the food was very bland and, worst offence, the pita was awful.
Pitas should be arm and absorbent and overall delicious way to mop up the middle eastern food. Theirs tasted like it had been purchased three days ago at Safeway and left in the fridge until ready to serve.
Overall, overpriced and no atmosphere.
Delicious middle eastern style cuisine that's great for sharing. Good if you have veggie or vegans in your party!
Tasty Lebanese dishes, in a casual environment. Small plates; those expecting heaps of food should look elsewhere. Staff is amicable and accommodating.
Both food and wine were very good, although a bit pricey considering that the portions were not extremely generous. JamJar is nevertheless my favorite Lebanese restaurant in town, I definitely recommend it!
At any middle eastern restaurant I have ever been to, and As I have travelled there many times, I have never received the houmous plate sometime in the middle of the meal. It always comes first, not at Jamjar. I didn't think the quality was particularly good either, extremely bland. Spices were minimally used. If you want really good mid-Eastern food go to Chickpea on Main or Tamam on East Hastings - authentic.
Food is fantastic, authentic Lebanese, great variety that please everyone. Servers are super helpful guiding you through the menu
We loved our meal and the ambience. Our service was excellent! I can't wait to go back.
The food is interesting, delicious and good value. Good service
Tasty food. Modern take on Mediterranean/Lebanese/Israeli food.
A little loud, but the space is small so it is to be expected. Servers were great when they had the time to be attentive. They seemed a little understaffed. Once the kinks at the Granville location are ironed out this place will be a neighbourhood gem. Will definitely be back to try again.
A disappointment compared to experience at the JamJar on Commercial Drive last year...lack of focus and not particularly good value...
