This classic supper club boasts live performances every night, from Tuesday through Saturday. Bistro-style cuisine, prepared in the traditional French technique, with ingredients from all over the world, prepared with passion by our Executive Chef, Roshan Vermezyari.

Our beautiful main stage is home to "Red Pops" - a gorgeous red Steinway baby grand piano - meticulously maintained. There is a cover charge for performances on all of our stages, with exception to our Piano Bar performances on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5 to 7, which are free of charge.

Our 3rd floor Event Space is available for your next corporate or private event. Equipped with another stage and a full bar, the "Jazz Cellar" has an outdoor area that is licensed for 45 guests (closed in the winter), and an indoor area that holds 55 comfortably, year round. It's the perfect downtown location for your next event!

    The quartet was fantastic our waiter was terrific ! The pasta was under cooked with 3 small pieces of veal . The margarita was small and expensive ! The sound was great and we loved the room ! Next time a beer and eat first !

    Arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were seated right away by the friendly lady at the front. wait staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. the band was awesome, but a little loud (we were right next to the stage, so it was to be expected) food was delicious!!! The wait staff and the manager were extremely welcoming and the ambience was perfect!! This was a great start to a wonderful evening!!!

    I would haver given 5 stars in every category except that I found the Jazz Bistro's policy of adding a ($20 ) cover charge to my final bill a bit "unclassy". Firstly, I should have been advised of the cover charge when I entered. I'm not saying the entertainment was not worth the money, but the fact that it was added to my bill, and therefore taxed at 13% was the issue. I expect that some patrons actually feel compelled to tip on the full amount including the cover charge also. Just advise us that there is cover charge, and make it untaxable on the computer. $20 should not = $22.60 + tip. Otherwise, the service was excellent, the ambiance above average, the drinks and food quite satisfactory.

    It is a restaurant not Masssey hall or the opera. Didn't appreciate the owner telling his patrons to not talk during the jazz and if they wanted to talk to sit at their kitchen table at home. Especially after paying over 600 dollar bill.

    Great to see and hear Laura Anglade again. She is wonderful. Great evening but I wish the announcement about noise level during the intermission was done at the beginning as there are some very disrespectful customers who shouted at the top of their voice throughout the performance. They also use their phones with lights on shinning straight at the stage. The food was good but the mussels were too overcooked and shrank too much. Good sauce. Great cocktails.

    Jazz bistro is the PERFECT dinner spot before a Massey Hall or Mirvish event. You can hear yourselves converse. The seating is comfortable. The menu extensive and excellent. Terrific service. You might also have nice music playing. We are upstairs for sound muting.

    Amazing service, great music by the band. It was my birthday and I am very very happy. This was the best birthday ever, and I want to come here again! The vegetarian options u have are good but please add some more options! Vegetarian options are very limited.

    Vegetarian Fettuccini was fresh and tasty. Negronis were just right. Best of all was the jazz - on this night, the Thompson Egbo Ebgo Trio along with Odin String Quartet. Amazing talent and stirring music in a relaxed, attractive setting. A great night!

    The food and service were really good. Excellent servers! The piano playing from 5 to 7 is very loud and energetic. I thought it would be quiet background jazz. If you want to go to pay attention to the piano player it's fine. If you want to have an early dinner and talk - it's far too loud. I would recommend for the food - not for the ambience.

    The restaurant was gorgeous, but very very loud. Service was decent but they got one of our orders wrong. They refused to accept my Open Table cheque reward, saying that they “were not set up for that”, which was quite disappointing and annoying.

    The music was absolutely stellar, with caliber deserving of a full concert hall, so it felt very special to experience it in a classy and intimate setting. My guest loved it, said it was top notch, and wants to go back again.

    This is a great spot for dining pre theatre. Service was excellent and attentive. Kept it simple and ordered fish and chips. I prefer less batter and cooked crispier for the fish. Found it a little soggy. Chips were great! Bonus was having the band rehearsing so it was at least entertaining. Would not want to pay a $40 per person cover charge on top of dinner prices though!

    It's been a long while since my last visit... the Red Steinway still pops! Good food: the Lamb rack tastes good, tender, and done right; Good Servixe: Servers are attentive; Good Jazz: the great performance by Dave Young Qunitet is the climax!

    Hopefully our experience was an anomaly. Do like the Jazz Bistro for drinks and music. Food was marginal that evening for me. I had the seafood linguine and felt ill afterwards. My friend had the rigatoni. She said the beef was good but the pasta wasn’t cooked. We had a 5:45 reservation as theatre tickets were for 7:30. Didn’t get served until 7:10. Obviously upset by this point. They did reduce the cost of the food but dinner was ruined regardless. Not sure if I would attempt another meal but I hope it was just an unfortunate circumstance.
