    The food was great tasting but the portion size was very small. I got only three asparagus bears. And a very small amount of mashed potatoes along with filet mignon and lobster tail.

    Mentioned tree nut allergy/anniversary in the notes for the reservation- I guess I don't understand bothering to put something in the notes when it is not paid attention to- I had to mention the allergy twice (server didn't ask for dietary restrictions) and was asked if it was a special occasion ... Been to many Jeff Ruby's locations- (I am originally from Cincinnati)- never had this happen at any other location. It was disappointing.

    We had a great time catching up with our two UK students. It was an amazing meal as usual. The espresso martini is to die for. First time to this location but have been to all Cincinnati Ruby’s restaurants many times. Always a good time with and amazing meal.

    Our waiter Josh was great! He was very knowledgeable and personable! Made my Birthday Celebration fantastic! The crab Rangoon was great and I just loved the Espresso Martini! I should have gotten two!!Steak and Lobster was out of this world!! My friend really enjoyed the Old Fashioned drink he got! He actually got two, lol!!

    It was a wonderful meal. The service was impeccable. We visited the bar before and after (definitely recommend this experience). The only problem is should have asked for a booth. As a first time visitor didn’t do the research. We had a young kid under 6 next to us and lessened the ambience of an otherwise great evening.

    I decided to surprise my wife with this dinner out for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were greeted with a warm smile from the lovely hostess named Savannah. She was even able to get us in a few minutes earlier than our reservation. We were then treated to excellent service by Justin and crew. He even surprised us with a special picture and frame to commemorate our anniversary. No question, we will return. Everything from the moment our car was parked to when we picked it up to leave left us planning a return special occasion. Thanks for the wonderful memory.

    All staff made my daughter's 18th Birthday very special with the surprise dessert and group photo taken of us. It was her 1st time there, she was pleased with her Birthday celebration. All staff displayed professionalism and kindness!

    The food was fantastic, but the service while friendly and courteous, was a little slow on drinking orders, and overall. At the Rubys price point it’s hard not to scrutinize service if it’s not perfect, but other than that everything was very good.

    We got the lobster and steak special, and the steak was way too seasoned too salty and not prepared to my liking. This is the first time I’ve had a bad experience at Rubys.

    When in the area, we will definitely go back. Since we live relatively close to Cincy, we plan to go to one of Jeff Ruby's restaurants in that area again. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It made our visit to Lexington so enjoyable!

    Johnny from Kentucky was our server! OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! Everything about the experience was beyond compare!! Definitely will be back to this (Lexington) location and will try the others as well!! On a scale of 1-10… definitely an 11!!!

    Kylie was great as server, along with her supporting staff including Aaron! The lobser tail and filet combo special is just amazing! My mom is in from out of town and raved about it and of course the Ruby's environment and ambience! Missed having live music in the bar area. As always, we'll be back!

    As usual, we found ourselves headed over to JR to celebrate our anniversary. This is our go-to big event favorite. JR has a special going on now until the 28th of September. There is nothing about it in the menu, you have to ask for it but it is a wonderful deal. Six oz lobster tail, six ounce filet, Freddie salad, mashed potatoes and asparagus plus their great bread. All this for $65. Go to Jeff Ruby’s. Great experience, great food, wonderful service!

    Dinner was great! There were 4 of us… first time for 2 of the group. They loved it. The atmosphere is fun and lively. Love the piano player. We had wagu meatball and tuna tartar for an appetizer. everyone had a steak for dinner and we shared the sides. Huge portions! The brussels sprouts and mac n cheese were our top 2 favorites… Drinks and service were excellent…we will come back.

    Service and ambience was wonderful. The food was average for the price. My granddaughter and I went for the special and the lobster was cold and the steak was average. Next time if there is one, I will order from the menu.

    We had reservations at 5:30pm for outside and we ordered an appetizer of tuna tartare that they were out of so we ordered something else. Took forever for our server just to let us order our main dish, after we told him we were on a time crunch. We had to be at our show at 7:30pm and didn’t get our main meal until 7:20pm. Once we got it, the steaks seemed like they had sat there a while and they were almost cold. Always had great service and food from here except for this one night.

    Amazing experience, valet parking was exceptional, Inside the receptionist was quick to seat us. Their house wine is very good. Our waiter was spot on. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Their menu was more than adequate. Speaking for myself the shrimp cocktail was very good. Steak and lobster could not have been better. As far as the atmosphere, we sat in the back away from the bar wise choice the ambience was excellent. They have an extensive wine list. Since I was the only one drinking wine, I stayed with the house Marleau. This might sound cliché. This was my first time, but certainly not my last.

    Nice experience. Had dinner with my wife for a weekend getaway. Food was a bit above average but seemed a bit lower quality then the price reflected. Service was good. Out waitress was very attentive and personable. However, found it difficult to rate the food quality equal with the price.
