My partner and I were visiting for a short trip from the states for our anniversary, and saw great reviews of the restaurant. We’re glad we came. The interior was beautiful- and the noise level was pretty quiet for an enjoyable intimate meal. The staff were attentive and recommended great selections that left a great impression- we were super full by the end of the night. The restaurant was even kind enough to surprise us with a complimentary anniversary dessert decorated. We’d love to come visit again and try the other dishes when we visit Vancouver BC again! Thank you for such a memorable last night to our trip for a special event.

Really nice ambient and amazing food. During my previous two visits owner was very welcoming and made us some amazing cocktails. Restaurant had a nice vibe with the lovely music. This visit unfortunately there was a loud group at the bar, we could barely hear the music and cocktail I ordered was mediocre. I hoped for a repeat experience but was let down. I hope this was an exception and will give it another chance.

Great place to celebrate birthdays! Dishes were plated beautifully and were delicious! They presented the birthday cakes we brought nicely. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

It was my wife's birthday. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The food was tasty and service was nice. Like the name of the restaurant, it's modern Korean cuisine. It felt more like a western dinner than Korean. They gave us an instant photo and a candled dessert for my wife's birthday. That was nice.

Perhaps the most beautiful, intimate, romantic room in all of Vancouver, and definitely one of the best restaurants in Kerrisdale. Recently renovated and a new intriguing menu!

We quite shocked we couldn’t find this good restaurant! As Korean, I was so sad that there is barely decent ambience at the same time having good dishes in Vancouver area. But finally I found somewhere I would suggest right away!!

Wow! Everyone must try Jess! Modern Korean fusion food - so yummy! The crystal chandeliers are so exquisite! Even their washrooms had Jo Malone hand soap and lotion. Everything is top class - food, service, ambience! Loved it!!

Took mom here for her birthday. Food was quite solid even though we did not go for the most popular dishes. The abalone and scallop rice in stone bowl was our favourite - eating it with nori is a must! Cauliflower and Oyster Pancake are really well prepared too, nailing flavour and texture. The chicken dish is an interesting take on ginseng chicken. Overall my mom was happy and she is a very picky eater. And thanks for the free birthday dessert!

Wonderful service and great ambience! I really enjoyed the oysters (we got 5 orders of them lol) and mackerel. I would avoid getting the Scallop and Abalone Rice Bowl though, as it was quite bland (even with the sauces they give you!). The scallops and abalone weren't seasoned and the sauces can only go so far if the ingredients aren't well-seasoned. Overall, I'd say going there for lunch is really nice.

We needed help for our party of 8 who were not familiar with Korean food. We received expert help in choosing a variety of items all of which were well received, and some were outstanding. One of our party had dietary issues which precluded use of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and the staff were very helpful in devising a special dish for her. The servers were very knowledgeable about the various dishes and provided smooth but unobtrusive service. The wine list was small, though adequate, could stand some additions. I was pleasantly surprised for the overall cost for the 8 of us, including several bottles of wine! Highly recommended for those who know Korean food or want to try a great new dining experience.

A unique dining experience for Korean food. The look and feel of the restaurant is exceptional, especially the washrooms. The food and service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone to try at least once and would definitely revisit, but perhaps on a special occasion.

Was disappointed in terms of food. Their was no distinct special taste in any of them, and most were just the typical Korean flavour. The food was mid and definitely not worth for such high price. The ambiance was nice and that was probably the only good thing about my experience there, otherwise nothing really notable.

Minimum service for a “high end” restaurant, ordered oyster, but the server did not ready the oyster set before serving the food.. and we wait for 5 minute just for a fork and Tabasco… why don’t she just ready everything and serve the food? After finish Appetizer, no one clean up our table and the main is out… just messy At first for the appetizer the server still introduced to us… but for the main they just put down the food and walk away… not really good experience

I came for this restaurant for a Korean western cuisine , but unfortunately the menu is changed to only Korean food and not too much choices in the menu . Definitely will not come back !
