    Jessy's has a great variety of different tastes. I really enjoyed the trio of guacamole appetizer. My entree was Camarones a al Diabla and it was fantastic. Love the freshly made tortillas, too. Will definitely return when I'm in Norfolk.

    The hostess was rude and wouldn't take our reservation that we made on open table for cinco de mayo. I feel if that was the case that they should have communicated this to open table.

    We had a reservation, and when we arrived they did not honor it. Seemed like they did not even check their open table. I love the food here, but will not be back. I would suggest you call and forget trying to reserve through the app

    The food was great...once we got it. The staff were very scattered and disorganized. Pleasant, but disorganized. Tables seated after us got food before us. But the actual meal did not disappoint!

    Very cool 😎 little place! Lots of menu choices. I had grilled fish tacos and they were excellent. Service was great; was there by myself as I was traveling for work, and I think every staff person in the place checked on me, lol! Will definitely be back if I have a chance again this week.

    My wife, my father-in-law, and I were recently in Norfolk for a half marathon and we wanted to enjoy some local restaurants. I came across Jessy's via OpenTable and made a reservation - it did not disappoint! They had an excellent guacamole appetizer where you got three different kinds of guacamole. My wife and I each got the three taco dinner, and we were able to mix and match to include chicken, carnitas, veggies, as well as lamb! My father-in-law got a HUGE burrito full of chicken and other veggies. The next time I'm in Norfolk, I'm going back to Jessy's Taco Bar!

    An outstanding tequila selection a great beer selection. Our waitress wasn't too knowledgeable about the wine list. They've toned down the seasonings a lot, but if you miss the bite, they do have actual hot sauces available. I was sorry I didn't know the special corn dish had been toned down, so I could request the original version. Steaks, chicken Tikka delicious!

    The meal choices were very enjoyable, the service prompt and concerned. Our fried shrimp tacos were definitely superior. Our host gracious and helpful. We were most impressed with the recommended side dish Esquites, a shaved corn dish with serrano peppers and onion, arrived nicely warm and a great compliment to the tacos. The fresh quacamole could have been spicier. Probably should have ordered it with chipotle. A pleasant evening.

    Everything was on point! Small, quaint ltitle place with an upstairs seclaying area for private parties. Menu is "out of the box" options with legit authentic Mexican food. We ordered a parrillada for two, the lobster tail and the fried shrimp were fantastic! But the skirt steak stole the show along with all the sides that came along with it. Drinks...BOMB!!! Definitely coming back soon.
