Absolutely the cutest restaurant I've been to. I want to remodel my home to look like everything here. Loved the energy of seeing the kitchen and the cooks chanting "OUI!" throughout the night. Food was top notch, and I was just the right amount of full after a tasting menu. It was rather expensive, but worth it for that level of dining. I loved the vibe of the music too - I know they have it all on the awesome reel to reel - but I wish they had spotify playlists I could get too!

I will begin by saying that the food was absolutely perfect. We sat outside on the patio, under the heaters and it was very comfortable, and our service team was amazing. We had a very pleasant and attentive waiter and a very knowledgeable sommelier. However, we've been to many fine restaurants and consider ourselves fine dining connoisseurs. We had never been to this restaurant before, and we dressed appropriately for the occasion. I was in a suit, and my lady was dressed elegantly. But, when we first walked in, we were disappointed to see people wearing shorts, hoodies and flip-flops. A place like this with this type of menu should have a dress code and it should be enforced. I understand this is Carlsbad and it's a beach community, but that was a huge negative with respect to the overall ambience. It felt more like were sitting at Applebee's while in the bar waiting for our table. They also really need to have valet parking !! Apart from those issues, with wine pairing, truffles, and Wagyu beef, dinner was nearly $1000 for two of us and it was worth every cent.

Jeune et Jolie is a unique restaurant with great food. I chose the "prefered" wine paring with dinner. I was dissapointed with this choice. I would have thought a French Restaurant would pair with French wines. Not so, and the quality of the wines was not what I would have expected at this price point.

Every time my boyfriend and I come to celebrate our Anniversary here, we have the most amazing experience of a lifetime. The staff is so kind, attentive, and welcoming. This was our second visit and it was just as excellent as our first visit approximately one year ago. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The food and wine were very very good. The total bill for 5 was close to $1000 which seemed a bit steep.

We had a wondeful experience at Jeune et Jolie. We sat at the bar and ordered a la carte. Each dish was fantastic, thoughtful, and beautiful, and the service was very much Michelin Star quality. We will happily return as soon as we can.

They obviously had an off night. Very off night for them. We've eaten here multiple times (6-7) and everything was always very fine-tuned and great. Our last visit was not close to being fine tuned. At first, our dishes came out too fast. Then by 3rd course it abruptly came to a halt. Server apologized and said due to the wait we would get another glass of wine from pairing menu. We got about 1/8 of a serving. Then both my wife and I found plastic from the sous vide of artichokes in our dish. Again, server apologized profusely. I know these things happen. The food was fantastic (with the exception of the plastic). Though I will say that compared to previous visits it does seems like the portions were smaller; the wine pours were definitely much smaller. The place was packed on a Sunday night so I think they're making their margins.

The service was amazing, the food was delicious and creative and we never had to wait long between course, while never feeling rushed. I think the pace is important for places with prix fixe menu. Add wine pairing on top of that was worth it.

Jeune et Jolie is ambitious. Damned ambitious. The degree of preparation and presentation is spectacular, comparable to a three star Michelin restaurant. Attention to detail and to the customer is first rate. A small bit of advice to the chefs, however: just because you can do a thing doesn’t mean you should do it. There’s some unusual pairings on the menu are excellent, some not so much. Never forget that even with it most impressive collection of ingredients, and their inventive use, flavor and texture are still at the forefront.

This was the best dining experience I’ve had in my lifetime. My wife and I have been looking forward to this meal out for months. The level of culinary art and intention into each plate. I’m so grateful to have experienced this for my self and already look forward to returning. The staff knows how high the bar is set for each diner but you feel the pride they take in service.

Our dinner was fabulous. We sat outside which was lovely (inside was quite loud). Nate was our server and he was amazing, as were the rest of the staff. Everyone was so attentive and lovely. We had an amazing dinner and the food was delicious!

“Tasting” is not enough to describe how intensely flavorful and discerning the menu is. The food is top-tier and the unpretentious atmosphere made us feel at ease. The service is what an authentic Michelin star restaurant is made out to be with each course being introduced in an understanding manner and the wait staff always watched waited for just the right time to provide us service which allowed us to enjoy our experience peacefully.

Did the four course menu, minus wine pairing (perhaps next time). Atmosphere and vibe welcoming yet refined. Attentive staff with excellent service and knowledgeable. Would recommend, obviously expensive, but worth the money in my opinion.
