   Don’t upgrade the salad. The one that comes with dinner is great. Their dressings are delicious. Loved the corn cakes. I don’t eat steak but all my family does. I got the fish. I wouldn’t recommend it. Everyone said the steaks were great

    Our waiter, Jeff, was great. The table was in a great spot. We’ve been going to Jimmy Kelly’s for years, but were shocked at how high the prices have become. The portions were smaller as well. The food was tasty, but definitely sticker shock.

    Would recommend (if you're looking for a quiet atmosphere, fancy restaurant )! I went with my husband for our anniversary and spend about $200 (not including the tip) for an entree that comes with a salad and baked potato and a dessert each. I ordered a medium rare Kobe Style Wagyu Tenderloin. I was surprised that the steak came out hot because when I order a steak medium rare it's just warm. Plus, it was SO tender. Now, I have trouble eating steak, in general, and usually have to cut my pieces thin to be able to chew fully and swallow. Not with this steak! I was able to take big bites and eat with ease with how tender it was. If you love steak, you'll love this place!

    We arrived prior to our reservationan and planned on getting a drink at the bar. The entire bar was reserved by one of the new owners. It was so loud, you couldn’t hear the person sitting next to you. Several diners hurried their meal and left due to the loudness. This loud party should have been in a private room instead of disturbing the whole restaurant. Also, if the bar is going to be closed to the public, please let people know in advance. Food was great and Grandon and Rae were the best!!

    This was our second time to Jimmy Kelly’s and we will likely not return. Our first time was in January to celebrate birthdays, our waiter was spectacular, super attentive, even brought us the most delicious chocolate Birthday cakes on the house. Last night, our waiter was good- but not like the guy we had in January. We were there to celebrate a birthday, no offer of a birthday cake, not even a comped key lime pie for birthday girl. We were actually charged twice for another dessert that I had to ask him to remove. 7 of us - at almost $700 plus he added his own tip. I am not a fan.

    Very old school spot, but not in a good way. Basic, lackluster food (steak, baked potatoes, salad) that desperately needed some flair and flavor. Not to mention that everything (except the wine) was way overpriced. Service was great. Setting was interesting. Just can’t justify going back. Too bad.

    Amazing food and what a luxurious experience. Our waiter, Robert, was fantastic! It was fun to see him use the intimacy of our room to interact with all the guests. Sadly, its not the kind of place we can go every week, but the perfect place for a great experience.

    Service was exceptional. I feel the meal was average. The bone in rib-eye was excellent according to my husband. My filet was good but nothing special. The room we were in had 4-5 tables, no music so it was quiet but you could hear other conversations easily which was a bit uncomfortable for us. They asked if it was a special occasion when I made the reservation. We were celebrating our 39th Anniversary. I was expecting a complimentary glass of champagne or dessert. All we got was a “Happy Anniversary” when we arrived. A disappointing evening. In my opinion, the prices were high for the experience and food. We will not go back.

    Dinner for 2 was $171. That’s two beers, two meals and one appetizer. We didn’t order sides or dessert. The food was good but we could’ve had the same quality at a steakhouse close to home and paid less than a quarter of that. Not impressed. Also, the lights were dim and candles on the table was nice but the tables were so close together we had to talk over the people next to us. It ruined the mood.

    Our server William was attentive and professional. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bootlegger ribeye was superb. My only suggestion was that the specials menu be monitored more closely by management as two items we attempted to order were submitted, only to be later informed by the server that they hadn’t be on the menu in weeks…other than that: 9.5/10

    We arrived at Jimmy Kelly’s earlier than our 7pm reservation time so that we could enjoy a cocktail at the bar. It was crowded but we received our drinks promptly and they were perfectly made. I miss Lee, the former long time bartender but his replacements did a good job. We were seated at at our table promptly and were greeted with a hot plate of “corn cakes” they are addictive. We were excited to see some new items on the menu as well as some old favorites. We tried the new “Bacon” appetizer and fried oysters. Both were incredible. Our group of 4 each had different cuts of steak and they were prepared as ordered, very hot and flavorful. Our waiter was amazing. He has been at Jimmy Kelly’s for over a decade and he is the best waiter that we’ve ever had at any restaurant. Enough said… We were greeted at our table by the Hospitality Queen, Ms. Rae. She formally worked a high end steakhouse downtown for many years and Jimmy Kelly’s is so lucky to have landed her for this location. We were so excited to hear about the new renovations and additions coming to the dinning rooms, bar and kitchen. They have already added 2 new modern bathrooms downstairs. They are beautiful. We noticed a number of celebrities in the restaurant but nobody seemed to bother them. They undoubtedly come for the incredible food and atmosphere. We are looking forward to seeing Jimmy Kelly’s evolve just as Nashville has evolved. If you want a high quality steak with white linen napkins and impeccable service then this is your place. .

    The food was phenomenal. Service top tier! Complimentary valet was an awesome touch! We do wish they had a better selection of non-alcoholic beverages, but other than that this place is fantastic. A must visit in Nashville, and we will definitely be going back
