I was very disappointed with my experience. We ordered the sampler and it was very underwhelming. The steak nachos were literally cheese and steak melted on 4 large nacho chips, the shrimp empanadas very strange in taste couldn’t eat them. But the chicken quesadillas were ok but not as good as we thought for a Mexican themed restaurant. We also ordered the table side guacamole that was not table side. It was literally cut up avocado that tasted like it was just taken from the refrigerator😳 On the upside if you want to watch sports and drink this is the place but not for good Mexican food.

I'll try to be as objective as I can: my wife and I made a reservation. We arrived and were seated. No one came to our table for the next 15 minutes, although several staff members passed by several times: no silverware, no menus, nothing. A waiter brought chips and salsa after about 15 minutes. I asked to see a printed menu. He said we had to scan a QR to see the menu. I noted I'd seen someone at the bar with a printed menu (at 47 years old, I'm afraid my eyes are going and I can't see the menu on a phone). He said that the printed menu was only for the bar. I was already displeased by being ignored for so long, so I told the waiter to forget it and my wife and I left. (I must admit that the family at the next table, whose small children were running around the restaurant and squealing loudly--while the father took video of them proudly--exacerbated my bad mood, and that this cannot be blamed on the restaurant management. Were it my restaurant, however, I certainly would have politely asked the family to reign in their kids.) After reading about Jimmy's on Open Table and seeing their feature on "Atlanta Eats" I was looking forward to eating there, and hopefully finding a new, casual restaurant to enjoy. But given my experience I'm fairly certain my wife and I will not return.

I forget how much I LOVE this place. The food is always good and the menu is big enough where I can try something a little different each time. This time I had the fried whole snapper. I don't know what's in the sauce but it's AMAZING and the portions are always so generous. See you guys again soon - keep up the great work!

Truly great food. Was worried about the service after reading reviews but ours was top-notch. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and it was very loud because there was a live band. They were good but impossible to talk over. Everyone seemed happy being in the restaurant. It was lively and the margaritas were the best I've had in ages.

Very lively place. Servings are huge. We shared an appetizer sampler and by then I was full. My husband ordered a fish dish and I tried it. He ate as much as he could but we ended up bringing half of it home. Great place for families and large groups

A girlfriend and I have wanted to come here ever since we saw the line wrapped around the corner for Cinco De Mayo. I got there first and was seated immediately (it was a Tuesday, after all so no lines). My friend got there shortly after and we both ordered the large Margaritas. Apparently, something happened in the kitchen that day and they couldn’t provide fresh tortilla chips, so we had to settle for some older ones. They were still good though. I ordered the queso and cheese sticks with marinara sauce. Everything was really good. Then for dinner, I took advantage of the special and had the 3 tacos, two steak and 1 chicken, with rice and beans. All very delicious. I can definitely see myself going back again for that alone. Taco Tuesday at Jimmy’s was a win for sure.

Got there waited for the server around 15 minutes… waited for drinks another 15… and our food took around a hour to come out. Went for a friends birthday but the server didn’t even bother to ask, multiple mistakes were made. The food was okay. The flavor was good but some of it looked like it had been sitting for a while because it wasn’t hot enough but we were already starving at that point. Don’t recommend… the staffed seemed over worked as well.

The food and drinks were as incredible as I'd hoped they would be. The only thing that very nearly ruined it was that I had my parents with me in their 70s and they required that we scan a QR code for the menu. I realize that is normal these days, but most places I go to will give you a paper menu if you ask. I asked and they said they didn't have any. Plus the QR code worked in a weird way and nobody bothered to explain this to us. It probably took us like 45 minutes to order! Once all that confusion was out of the way, everything was absolutely wonderful! I love their guacamole. I've never had anything like their shrimp empanadas before. My husband had the full out fajita experience with meats I have never had in fajitas before!

This was my first visit here. Our booth was very comfortable, the restaurant is roomy with plenty of sports TVs. The waitress did well (except for providing an inaccurate beer "special" list (which she corrected after visiting the bar)). My wife's ribeye was cooked a perfect "medium" but the meat was tough so she ate very little of it. My filet was supposed to be cooked a "medium" also but was "medium-well". When I sent it back, the replacement filet was cooked "medium-rare" but I did not send it back. It was, however, very tender. The draft beers were ice cold and delicious. The rice, roasted corn, salsa and chips were also excellent.

Oysters nice and fresh. Has a stuffed lobster tail with mushroom suace-the mushroom sauce and stuffing were amazing- it would have been perfect if the lobster had not been overcooked and hard. Place is large and a party type atmosphere-good margaritas. Not cheap but good food and value for what you get-large portions.

This was an awesome spot! The food looked good and tasted amazing. Say yes to the 32oz Margarita. We were in town for a rugby match, so we chose this as our pregame location. Loved the vibe. Get the crab legs!! We will definitely make this a regular stop.
