JINYA Ramen Bar - Vancouver
Good food and service. Rather noisy however
A great place to get ramen in Vancouver (one of the very best). Excellent service, great vibe, super central location. Food was all very good and extremely filling.
The food average for the cost. If a restaurant's food is more important to you than its ambience (Jinya is very lively, like a lounge or bar), there are other ramen places along Robson that serve better food at better prices.
The food at JINYA is always great, but the service is either a hit or miss. When I was dining there yesterday I ordered some happy hour drinks, the server ended up spilling one of the drinks all over me. Please only take what you know you can carry!
Great overall experience from the food to the service. Was quite loud in the restaurant, had some difficulty talking to each other but it was a Friday night.
Always an amazing service with delicious food and drinks!
It was my birth day and I was with my friends to celebrate and we had a good time with a good service
the "welcome" is way too loud and overly exaggerated and irritates the already seated diners.
They forgot lots of our order, but once or cam it was good.
This place has some of the best ramen, hands down. I've gone to many places in a variety of cities, and this has to be the best. I've gotten the chicken ramen each time and the broth is so silky. I just wish their plum wine was a 4 ounce pour instead of a 3 ounce pour. That way, I wouldn't have to buy doubles.
The broth was amazing, best I’ve had in a while!
Food is consistently delicious. Not the cheapest place in the neighbourhood but the food quality is great.
One of my consistent favs.
Eats before Rugby game. Always good here, can’t go wrong.
Probably some of the best ramen in Vancouver. Expect a wait but expect deliciousness once you're in. Highly recommend the "nowait" app to see lines for the place so that you can stroll / drink while you wait.
My absolute favorite ramen experience in the city. 10/10
The DT location is too noisy. The music is too loud.
Everyone was yelling. I could not evenly hear what the others said. And the waitress seems already is used to that, so she just used her normal voice volume, which I cound not hear at all. So I had to ask her repeat again and again.
I though the restaurant owner wants to make everyone feel that the restaurant is very lively and busy by using this way, which is true. However, I would not refer my friends to go there if we have other options next time.
