   Service was terribly slow, wine bottles brought to the table already opened, food decent but nothing outstanding. Unfortunately probably the result of too high expectations.

   This restaurant was amazing. Worth all of the hype! The food was amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection.

   If you are coming to Montreal you definitely need to stop at Joe Beef, me and my with loved the experience, the server show an amazing knowledge of the menu and at the end of the dinner he bring us a list of places that we can visit during our time in the city, the food… it was everything so delicious that I not even know where to start, the oysters, bone marrow salad, snails, sweetbreads, filet mignon with veal and the marjolaine was an amazing and delight night! We can wait to comeback to Montreal and definitely return to Joe Beef for another round of oysters and try the rest of the menu!

   We had a lovely evening at Joe Beef’s. They were even able to accommodate us when our flight was delayed, so missed our original reservation slot. Excellent service, warm hospitality and outstanding food. The oysters and halibut were standouts for the evening. Would recommend and will definitely book again when in Montreal.

    Service was phenomenal. Had a bit of a hard time deciding what to to order and our server made some great recommendations to fit our preferences and group size. The food was decadent and rich - I've never been to France but this is what I'd imagine real great French food to be. We had the hanger steak, lobster pasta as mains, and then some Boston scallops, oysters, and a jambon dish. All were so indulgent and satisfying. Cut it all with a cocktail and an ice cream dessert. Thank you Joe Beef!
