The turn-of-the-century inspired dining room features 30-foot high ceilings and six unique dining venues that include our Rooftop Garden.     Joe Fortes always gets a 10 out of 10. Their food is consistently outstanding, great flavours with substantial portion sizes and comes hot to the table. The service is top notch, which can be a challenge to find in these times. The live piano music adds an extra special touch at this time of year, it’s at the top of my go to list.

    my favorite place to eat. food was amazing , staff were amazing as always however I did get sick from the seafood unfortunately

    Came here last night for our wedding anniversary. Ambiance was good with the piano music is awesome. Service was a bit slow...took a long time for someone to get our drinks order and another wait for the main entree order. Despite the slowness, our server David has lots of enthisiasm and vibrancy during conversations. Food was good except my hubby is expecting a good sear on his filet mignon. It's a little bit cold on the inside. I enjoyed my Braised Lamb Shank. It was thoughtful of David to bring a complimentary Tiramisu Cake which is delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the night and definitely coming back!!! It's a little bit expensive for me compared to other steakhouses like Atlas and Joey.

    Great evening! Party of 6 all our food and drinks were awesome. The service was some of the best I have ever had!!!! And I have worked in hospitality for over 20 years. So my bar is high!!! We shall return Thank you

    Restaurant was decorated amazingly for Christmas! Definitely have increased their prices since last time I went, my main was $60, and the food was good but did not blow me away!

    We were first to dine in the roof top outdoor seating, launched last night. Excellent service for us all, especially my nearly 90 yr old father who enjoyed beer, oysters and the miso sablefish along with dessert. Keep doing what you’re all doing, as it’s working!! P.s love the xmas holiday vibe too

    Disappointed in server- I had a gift card from Kelsey for $50 and when I went to pay, the server reminded me firmly that the tip should go on total not on the remainder. Very very poor.

    Service was good but the fish and chips were hard and chewy. We ordered 3 plates of it and for all of them the fish was hard to eat as it was way too tough.

    I was unable to go along with my party. I asked for feedback and they were all delighted. The only complaint was that the Joe's special brunch dish was too salty. Otherwise they had a fantastic time. 10/10 will return. Staff were excellent too.

    Ordered the tenderloin medium rare and came out almost blue. Took some time to get served and we didnt send it back. Expected a bit of a credit for the kitchen error. Bill came at full price for entree

    Went for Happy Hour at 3:30pm. Immediately took our order and just as drinks were set down so was our food. Servers hovering everywhere taking empty plates. As our last plate was taken, server asked us if ready for bill. We had felt so rushed that we said yes. Bill came immediately, so fast that the bill was wrong. Our feeling of being rushed was solidified when I received an email from Open Table thanking us for coming before we got the wrong bill. If going for happy hour means you are treated this poorly, I won’t return. And the restaurant is in my neighbourhood! Very bad experience! Went down the street ti another restaurant and had a very nice evening.

    Would have been nice to be acknowledged when we arrived. Even thought it was a busy time there was a miscommunication between day/night staff. Anyway that was the excuse we were given. Sad because I have been to this restaurant many times and this was by far the worst experience.

    We had a fabulous time at dinner on Tuesday evening! The restaurant was full of diners which made for a fun atmosphere. The food was incredible, everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Vincent was our server and provided wonderful service and recommendations. Thank you!

    it was weird as our servers shift ended and he just left without telling us.. after 20 min we then had to call someone over as we wanted another drink.. the service after than wasnt very pleasant.. food was good but the service was great when we had it but it disappeared..
