   Joe fortes Vancouver is one of my favourite restaurants. The nostalgia of it all. The one here in Whistler was the same great experience. I do prefer their winter menu, if I’m being honest, but that’s because of the lobster bisque and different salad options. Other than that it is completely five stars in our opinion. Check them out if you wanna have a nice steakhouse/seafood but classier. Their bread is warm served with a delicate lobster oil and house made balsamic - the best in the village and comes complimentary with your order.

   Four us dined on a Thursday. We all selected the 3 course spring special. Matthew our server was excellent. The pasta dish had a cream sauce and my wife requested a non-cream based sauce and he accommodated her request with no fuss. Our dining experience was much better than our experience last year. We would recommend Joe Forte's Whistler to our friends

   Was recommeded to the resturant but was disappointed. Average food, service non existence i could placed the order in the kitchen myself. Order the fanous lobster oil and bread and he forgot. Boring atmosphere.

   Came here during the off season where they have the Apres menu and the Joe's Dinner Deal menu. What an excellent value! The Kid's Menu was also available for our little girl, from which we had the steelhead trout. She loved it. The porkchop was cooked beyond expectations, and the sablefish was excellent. The wait staff was amazing, as they saw we were having trouble keeping our little one steady, so we were provided with a few little distractions, and it worked! We had such an excellent time here on our first night in Whistler, that we booked again the next night. Definitely recommended.

    The prawn linguine had way too much melted butter in the sauce. I showed the server and she promptly removed it from our bill. The chicken was OK and the best meal were the pork chops.

    Having been to the Joe fortes in Vancouver we were a little surprised by the ambiance and the atmosphere of this one. It was pretty gloomy. But what it lacked in decor it made up with the outrageously delicious food and amazing service. I certainly wouldn't recommend it for a fun group or girls night out. But if you're looking for a romantic evening with your special someone this might be the place for you.

    Tara was our server and she was fantastic!! The staff was lovely and amazing. The food was not unfortunately. My husband and myself were in town celebrating our anniversary and was expecting a fancy and enjoyable dinner and this place just missed the mark. He had the rib-eye and it was extremely dry for a medium cooked steak. Looked like it was cooked properly just think it was a terrible cut the sides that came with wasn’t that great either just Blane. I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly and was good would recommend getting that but the sides weren’t the best. The golden beets, butternut squash purée, mashed potatoes and asparagus were the sides with both dishes and just wasn’t good to us at all. We got a Caesar salad for appetizer being my hubs loves them and it was just ok nothing special should of gotten the wedge salad probably would of been better but then again don’t know. We didn’t complain about his dish but Tarra noticed when cleaning the table he didn’t eat but 2 bites and came back and asked us about it and apologized and offered something different which we declined being that we had everything else was just ready to go. She did come back with a dessert that was so nice key lime pie with in house made truffles as a celebratory dessert for our anniversary which was really good and so thoughtful and much appreciated. They did remove his ribeye from the bill without us asking(which we was going to just pay for it) and the manager came and apologized also. The service at this place is hands down 10/10 and we always felt welcomed. Maybe it’s because we’re not used to that type of food mostly the sides i don’t know but i would suggest maybe having options for people to choose there sides.     We had the $49.00/person Joe’s dinner deal fixed menu. Everything was delicious and fresh and perfectly prepared. The watermelon salad, the grilled steelhead trout and the key lime pie were all very tasty. One of us had the prawn linguini and raved about it. The staff were all very welcoming and the service was attentive. Ample portions and also an amuse-bouche and bread and butter. The restaurant is a bit tucked away and beyond an uninviting hotel reception area, but we’ll worth the visit.

    Don’t be put off by the location, which was a little hard to find and did not look great from outside - once you go in we were warmly welcomed and had a fabulous evening. Excellent food and our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We have long enjoyed the Vancouver location and will now add Whistler Joe Fortes to our favourite list! Thank you

    First time trying this place with new owners!! Was pleasantly surprised by decor & menu. The food presentation was beautiful & full of flavor. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything. There Pavlova is incredible! We will definitely be back.

    Waiter was completely disinterested. Restaurant did not have many diners and yet we were seated next to a noisy table. Amuse Bouche was very large and too rich. It should be bite sized. Main course was heavy and not enjoyable.

    Great food & service, thank you, but unfortunately nearby guests were so rude & obnoxious & swearing (f this and that…) loudly all throughout our dinner for two hours in a small space… not the restaurants fault but also not adding to the dining experience & time we invested in to try out Joe’s in Whistler. Plus our dinner for two turned into three, with a very persistent fly…luckily didn’t like the same wine as me.

    We went for happy hour, first time at the Whistler location. The ambience is nice, and we were seated right away but one of the oysters was comparably smaller and not that great quality so we asked it to be replaced. Our server Christine eventually got us another one but had a questionable look when we requested it to be replaced. The mac and cheese was bland which was a bit disappointing but the lobster roll and wine were good. Overall not a bad experience but not the best either. I found the food and service to be very good in Vancouver location which I go often.
