    Very loud groups, but it seemed like it was a one off for the restaurant. Steak was underdone but the staff was great at addressing the issue

    Gracie was our server and was amazing knew all about the food and could recommend items. She was so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my food my husband was ok with his.

    The food is fine, typical well-made steakhouse food. We hadn’t Cioppino and it was very tasty as was the beet and tomato salad to start. The entrance through the hotel needs to change. Barging through a throng of tourists waiting for a bus tour was annoying and can someone do something about the music in this place. Who thinks Aerosmith at high volume is good dinner music? It’s fine for the bar section, but really odd to see white-jacket servers working a room with classic rock playing.

    Our waitress was great. However, filet mignon was good but at this price point, we expect it to have nice crust and hot which it was not. Their lobster oil with balsamic vinegar was fantastic.

    Love Joe Fortes. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff are attentive and know how to serve and take care of customers. The servers are trained in proper etiquette and manners. Fantastic and so welcoming.

    Matthew is an outstanding and did a magnificent job making my girlfriend and I really comfortable and made sure we had an amazing experience from start to finish. I highly recommend going in and creating your own experience with the great staff.

    Good price fix menu. Service was excellent. Food was average and uninspiring. Vegetable accompaniment- Brussels sprouts were over roasted and salty.

    While our server Olive was great the food took forever to come out. We were a full 3 hours for appies and mains for 5 people . The kitchen attempted to time our mains but husband’s pork was cold and my pasta was undercooked.

    Joe Forte’s delivers as always…our first time to the Whistler location but have been many times to the Thurlow restaurant and it matches up in every aspect!

    Disappointed in our experience last night. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, mussel appetizer was substandard- mussels were the size of clams and the seafood cioppccino was very runny and not very good quality seafood- I barely ate any of it. The website advertised a three course meal for $45 and wasn’t available. Wont be recommending- sadly. We were going to buy a gift certificate for our friends but disappointed so chose not to. Vancouver Joes in the summer was much much better. Simon our waiter was great. Very noisy in the section we were seated in as I had requested a quiet private table. Music didn’t fit the restaurant either- kiss and Def leopard… really?!

    Great happy hour. Wasn’t impressed with the prawn and scallop ceviche (super small and tasteless) but we really liked the calamari, oysters and $1 for an ounce of wine. The wine was really good for happy hour wine. Next time we will try the seafood tower. It looked better for value than ordering separate appys.

    Friday night late dinner, getting ready for Cornucopia weekend. Lots of energy in the place, great service by Ellie who made the evening special. The Cioppino was great as well as the Steelhead. Oysters were fresh and the Crème Brûlée is a must. Great place to eat

    The atmosphere was great. The food was excellent. My colleague and I attended and ordered the 3 course set dinner. Fully expecting smaller portions but to our surprise, everything came in full portioned size. The taste was amazing. Our servers were attentive and cordial. Tarra was wonderful as were the others whom I did not noticed their names. Overall a marvellous experience.

    We loved it ! Our server was Amazing. His name started with M and unfortunately I can’t remember it but we can’t wait to come back ! The food always makes us drool.

    Unfortunately, we weren’t impressed with our meals as the food did not meet our expectations. As well, we were overcharged which we didn’t notice until we were home. We had ordered the Prix Fix, but we’re charged separately for each item, which meant we were charged approximately $20.00 more before taxes. All in all, we will not hurry back to Joe Fortes!

    What a great spot! Beautiful ambiance and great food! The service was top notch and we couldn’t have ended our last Whistler trip dinner at a better spot! Highly recommend, Simon our waiter was terrific!

    Very dark space with inadequate lighting...surprised to learn the space had been recently renovated...it had a dated look that reminded me of my grandmother's parlour. My main course - cioppino - was top notch but my friend's ling cod was over spiced and undercooked and his potatoes unevenly cooked. Bright spot was the smooth service of our server who was informative and a pleasure to deal with. Overall, a guarded recommendation for Joe Fortes.

    We heard good things about Joe Fortes and decided to try it out for our anniversary. Food was good, service was friendly and helpful, ambiance was not amazing. There was a table with two small children and four adults close by. One of the children at the table would scream repeatedly. It was ear piercing and awful. We spent nearly the entire meal having to listen to spontaneous screams from the child. This wasn’t the fault of the restaurant. It was just unfortunate to be expecting a tasty dinner in an enjoyable atmosphere and then have intense screaming happening for your entire meal. Not sure if I will be back soon after that.

    The food was pretty good but unfortunately our server was quite rude. Once we asked for the dinner deal menu he became short with us and paid no attention to us. Thankfully there’s was a nice blonde server serving the table next to us who would fill our waters for us. The server made us feel like we weren’t important because we were only wanting to do the set menu. Overall a disappointing experience!

    We went there for our anniversary dinner. It was a little tricky to get in with our stroller, but once we figured it out, everything was fantastic. This was our first time at this location. Food was amazing, staff were superb and very accommodating with our baby. We can’t wait to go back!
