   We loved this place and will definitely come back in future trips to Whistler. The food, the place, the ambiance, they are all great! The level of service, however, was outstanding. Simon took care of us during our family dinner. He was doing rounds with us and nearby tables to ensure we all had what we needed, when we needed. Thank you!

   A traditional style restaurant that exceeds expectations. The food is delicious, the service is considerate, and the environment is very warm. It is one of my favorite restaurants along with the main store in downtown.

   Excellent seafood and great atmosphere, cocktail and wine list. Service was OK and the steak was honestly uninspired and not really seasoned in any way, so perhaps give that a skip.

   We had sole and Arctic char. Both were good. The service was ok, waiter seemed very rushed to get tables moved in and out quickly. They ran out of bread rolls so no lobster rolls on the table, but did their best and brought out some chocolate truffles with the bill. I would recommend it as it is a nice break from French fries, pub fare and ski chalet food.

    Ellie was an awesome server. Food was fabulous! Atmosphere delightful. Only thing I’d change is the background music. It played the same few chords over & over.

    Old school seafood and chop house. Excellent wine list, good cocktail selection. Classic style menu with some modern tweeks to the dishes. Relaxing and enjoyable.

    We requested a quiet table and enjoyed a quiet corner in the lounge. Nice art on the wall. We all thought our food was excellent and we also liked the wine. Excellent service —a welcome addition to the Whistler food scene.

    Something seriously wrong with the overall design of the place in that noise from fellow diners is excessive. They need to employ a noise consultant who will recommend how they can resolve the noise issue. Nothing wrong with the food or service but we won’t be returning.

    Severely disappointed with the entire experience. The food was average at best and took far too long to come out. The service while average was not what you'd expect from the price points on the menu. I have enjoyed many places in the village but can't for the life of me understand why people would decide to come here.

    Amazing food, however the overall experience felt rushed. For a higher scale restaurant, we felt we should’ve been able to enjoy the experience and the food. With a reservation, we were in and out in an hour, which to some might be a positive but when on vacation it was rushed.

    The place was bustling and had great energy. Service was attentive. The table seemed too small for all of the plates and drinks we had. Everyone enjoyed their meal, only downside is that I found the crab cake to be bland. I was totally dumbfounded by the price of their wine by the glass. Been to many high end restaurants and can say I’ve never had a $45 single glass of wine until this experience. Otherwise we enjoyed the evening and the food.

    Wouldn’t return. Our server seemed very rushed. Water glasses weren’t refilled. My order came out wrong, which was surprising considering that every plate here comes out the exact same except for the fish choice, so a simple swap shouldn’t be missed. My one request was swapping out potatoes for rice and they still gave me potatoes. The pairings are bizarre. The bread service comes with lobster oil and balsamic vinegar, and every fish dish is served with the same veggies including potatoes, green beans and plantains along with a small dish of lemon buerre blanc and…pico de gallo?! We sat unattended for so long, we had to ask the hostess for our check. Just kind of a disjointed restaurant overall.

    Lovely spot (nice ambiance, attentive staff and fine food) if it wasn’t for the flies!!! We loved the place but all the fruit flies (we counted 23 on the wall behind our table) ended up killing the whole experience. Management is aware of the problem and is working on addressing it. Meanwhile we were left fending off flies throughout the diner. Unfortunately, hard to ignore… Flies invasion aside, this is a lovely diner spot. The main dining room has a feel good feeling about it, the whole staff is attentive and efficient, and the food was very good with a nice wine selection. We took a mix of seafood and beef, all dishes were quite fine, with a personal preference for the seafood. Deserts were good. Portions are on the generous side, and well presented. The general manager was a pleasure to interact with, kind and knowledgeable. Once again, lovely place (once they get their flies situation under control).

    We still miss the Trattoria, but Joe Fortes is our new “fancy” favorite in Whistler. All the classics (we had Cioppino and a sirloin) were executed to perfection, the vibe is understated classy but not stuffy, and the servers were a delight.

    while noisy it feels like you are “somewhere”! fun and exciting delicious oysters, massive mound of food on the 200.00 seafood tower that would really be enough for 3-4 ling cod and salmon perfectly cooked pavlova was amazing server and helpers were attentive and friendly in the best way def recommend for a special nite out

    We went there for lunch, needed a quiet classy place with great food. It was all fabulous and even purchased some lobster oil there to take home. Great menu and great service, a nice change from all the noise at Whistler.
