   We went to Joey’s last night to celebrate my birthday. The table was beautifully set with flower, and the ambiance was lovely, which we truly appreciated. However, the overall experience felt quite rushed. From the moment we sat down, everything seemed to move too quickly from taking our order to serving the food. While we understand restaurants can be busy, we were hoping to enjoy a relaxed dinner, especially since it was a special occasion. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to fully enjoy the food or the moment because of the pace. A bit more time between courses and a more relaxed service would have made the evening much more enjoyable.

   The ravioli is the best!!! The service was great on Mother’s Day, they brought complimentary bubbly to start and gave my mother a flower at the end of our meal! All staff were friendly and welcoming. I will be back!

   We went for Mother’s Day, they had complementary mimosas, chocolates, and flowers. Our food was tasty. I had the steak with ravioli and shrimps. Sushi was pretty good too. Service was great! We really enjoyed it!

   My family went to Joey’s Burnaby for Mother’s Day lunch. Everything was amazing, but our server, Jake, made our lunch more memorable not only because of his professionalism when serving but because of his personality. We were very impressed with our whole experience.

   We requested a patio in advance in the notes for my best friends birthday group and they told us on arrival that the patio was closed due to weather - I can confirm that it was nice out and that Cactus & Earls patio was open.

   It was great service, and the food was amazing. But I will say the value for money is not quite there. The steak frites was good but for the price it was a bit cold, and lacking in substance. But the service was impeccable and it more than made up.

   We had an amazing time. The food was outstanding. The service was awesome. We like to go here on a regular basis and will continue to do so.

    I frequent Joey Burnaby, however, it was my first time having the blackened chicken, which was very yummy. What really impressed me was the hot potato salad that came with the meal - delicious!!! Everyone else in our party really enjoyed their meals too. Even though the room was very energetic we could still have a decent conversation. It added to the level fun we were having for a twin birthday celebration. The server was excellent, very attentive especially because we had someone who is celiac and has special food limitations.
