   Our dinner was great, the food was very good this evening. We were in time for the Happy Hour so the value for the food was good. It is time for this Joey’s to update their space as it is getting a bit tired but overall it is a good space to dine.

   My husband and I came here for our 10 year anniversary. Our server was Sierra, she was wonderful! So cheerful and kind. The food was amazing; we shared some steak & sushi, sushi cones, steak & ravioli, and the chicken lettuce wraps. Our tastebuds were tingling, everything was so flavourful and cooked perfectly. We’re not drinkers, so I tried the zero-proof margarita and DANG! It was the best I’ve ever tasted! They also spoiled us with some celebratory desserts. Overall, service and food quality was perfection. We will be back!!

   The service was fine, except when we were getting the bill, took almost 20mins. The burger I had was too salty, even the bacon was extremely salty.

   Everything was great except it was very noisy from full restaurant to screaming baby for over 20 minutes. They let the baby scream and didn’t take the baby outside to calm down or distract the baby. I have grandchildren, I get babies.

   We found this to be a an extremely expensive experience for a very underwhelming experience. Our service was decent, she was nice enough but seemed quite disconnected to our experience. Very little recognition or offer around my mom’s birthday. Food portions were shockingly small considering the price point. My son’s meal was so salty it was nearly not edible. Also despite making a reservation we were seated in a back corner of the bar near the bar door which was quite noisy and didn’t lend to our hope of a nice intimate experience. Quite disappointed considering what we paid for this.

   It was our first time at Joey Coquitlam, and it was a great experience. We had made a reservation to celebrate my husband’s birthday. They surprised us with a sparkling drink and slices of cake, which was amazing!

    I have always found Joey’s an amazing Restaurant. Joey’s Coquitlam lived upto that standard. Beautiful staff serving with a small. Not rushing. In control. Salmon had no smell at all. I love the appetizer Gyozo. Great value. Chardonnay suggested by the server was perfect and not too chilled. Kudos to the staff and the Chef.
