    The food and service was outstanding. I had the filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My husband had the Rueben and it was also very good. We will definitely return next time we’re in town.

    The music was very loud and the server couldn’t hear us. We kept having issues with our phones while in there. It kept asking us to join an Apple TV. The house salad is a MUST!!!

    I took a friend for her birthday lunch. The food was very good and our server was very nice, but the restaurant is very noisy. The server told me that dessert for my friend's birthday would be comped but when I got the bill, the dessert was charged to me. After I pointed that out to the server, she redid the bill.

    We brought our two grandchildren 16 and 13. The food and ambience were excellent. The hostess was great. Our initial waitress must have been having problems as she greeted us quickly and then disappeared for about 10 minutes. Our second waitress, Chloe did a great job.

    Satisfying overall experience. Given that it was Thanksgiving I expected it to be busy but wasn't really expecting to have to wait 35 minutes past my reservation time. The limited menu should have been made clearer on the website but again, I understand that it was Thanksgiving. Server was very good, as was the ambience. Will be visiting again on a non-holiday for sure.

    My family has been dining at Joey D’s for over 3 decades; it’s one of my father’s favorite restaurants in the city. In general, it is fabulous. For Thanksgiving, some of the food wasn’t up to its usual standard. Those who had traditional Thanksgiving dinner felt like the sides were excellent, but the turkey was “okay,” and desserts tasted store bought. I had ribs (we chose Joey D’s because I don’t like turkey) because my father raved about them. Unfortunately, they were mediocre, at best. On a positive note, our server was excellent. They were extremely busy, but he still took time to make recommendations, joke with us, and check on us several times. We will definitely return to dine at Joey D’s, but probably not on Thanksgiving again.

    THANKSGIVING DINNER WAS GOOD BUT A LITTLE BLAND. WAITER WAS A LITTLE FORGETFUL AND HAD TO ASK QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER. WE ALSO HAD TO ASK FOR OUR WINE AND ONE OF OUR DRINKS SINCE IT DIDNT COME. BUT OVERALL IT WAS A NICE TIME.

    We’ve been to Joey D’s in the past, and it was perfect. This time we went to Joey D’s for their Thanksgiving special. And I think they should stick to what they know which is steaks. Service was good, but the menu made it sound like the plate of Thanksgiving goodies that you would be receiving would be overflowing. It wasn’t even six in the evening, and they were already out of certain Thanksgiving offerings. The portions were very small and the portions of ham and turkey were also very dry and flavorless. We weren’t very happy. So the day after Thanksgiving we decided to do a do over and went to the Golden Corral a local Buffet, which was everything we had hoped Joey D’s would be for half the price.

    Makaila was amazing. We had a fantastic dinner and did not want for anything. I love eating here anytime, but glad we decided to have a no mess Thanksgiving dinner at Joey D’s.

    wound up eating here for Thanksgiving as a family for the first time in our family history of not having Thanksgiving at home. We loved being able to have a full plate of Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings, and it was delicious. the reservations were running about 30 to 40 minutes behind and the servers were either really new or overwhelmed but that’s just the nature of the industry right now overall a really great meal! thanks for making our holiday very enjoyable! And thank you for serving us and working on Thanksgiving.!

    Hard to complain on Thanksgiving and about dinner on Thanksgiving. Two of us had the special, ham, turkey and trimmings. It was fine, nothing special as it was preplated and brought out, so did not taste fresh. One of us ordered filet, was not cooked as requested, was very well done and dry. Main course was brought out just minutes after the salad and appetizers were tabled. I know they are trying to turn tables over….just not the usual service or food of Joey D’s.

    Joey D’s outdid themselves this Thanksgiving! We had 4 guests - 3 ordered the turkey dinner and loved it. Lots of food and hardly a scrap left. I ordered the filet and creamed spinach and it was perfect! Thank you to all those who worked so generously and a huge nod to the wonderful chefs! You gave us a glorious day with delicious food!

    Joey D’s is a great place to have Thanksgiving dinner. You get a variety of traditional Thanksgiving dishes without the hassle of the long hours in the kitchen and the aftermath of dishes to clean. This was my second time dining here for Thanksgiving . The cost is affordable and the food taste great! I will say that if you don’t make your reservations ahead of time, at least a month prior, you will have difficulty securing a decent time to dine.

    My Family went last year and really enjoyed it. We were looking forward to this year-just to be very disappointed. The sweet potato souffle was running all over the plate. We only received 2 slices of carrots that were way undercooked. The ham was low quality with gristle running through it. The garlic potatoes were very salty. The stuffing and turkey were both good. The Server never returned to the table until the end- so no refill on the drinks. We will definitely be choosing another restaurant for Thanksgiving next year.

    This experience was not what I hoped for. Some items on the menu may be very good, but the salad was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. I have been to Joey D's a few times in the last several months and it has been inconsistent. We had a reservation for 5 people at 11:30am. Three of our party arrived early but couldn't be seated even thought he restaurant was virtually empty. When the remaining two arrived we were seated at a lopsided, unstable round table that made us very uneasy about drinks potentially tipping over. It's a very nice environment but can do better, I know.

    Our fav neighborhood spot on a Sunday night was not a good choice for special bday celebrations. Seated Party of 6 at a table for 5 Bar was out of olives of all kinds so could not deliver the 4 martinis with blue cheese olives Waiter said many wines were out of stock So had to confirm the bottle was available before we ordered. Baked potatoe soup was recommended and was watery like lucke warm sink water. Baby rack of ribs was in the oven all day and dry and hard So disappointed we brought family there For special bday outing at our neighborhood spot.

    Joey D’s is always a “go to” when I’m in the Sandy Springs area. The service was always good but it was noticeably upgraded. New uniforms and definitely going for a more formal style of service. Everything was excellent. Delmonico ribeye, bbq chicken, Portobello mushroom salmon and the blackened mahi mahi.
