Great service and a lovely ambiance! The food and drinks are consistently spot-on. I tend to order my favourites—Katsu chicken salad, tacos, burgers, or any of the fish dishes—and everything tasted great. My family had a wonderful experience, too. We initially hoped for patio seating, but none was available. Despite the busy rush—even on an early Thursday evening—the staff worked hard to accommodate us. In the end, we got a comfy booth next to the patio, which felt like dining outdoors. A nice touch is the prosecco upon arrival—always appreciated! They’ve also introduced a happy hour menu from 3-6 pm, though it’s only available at the bar or lounge. Fortunately, we could still grab the drink specials, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a fantastic dining experience—I’ll be back!

Tried the new cauliflower Baja tacos, they were excellent plus truffle fries. Service was excellent. We frequent there a lot and had a waitress that we have not had before. We asked her if she was new and she said she worked there before and came back. She was awesome, a great sense of humour and excellent service.

Fire alarm rang through the entire meal for over half an hour. Zero attempt by staff to address customer experience. Prior to the alarm ringing, staff passed by table frequently to check in on how we are doing. After the alarm had gone off, they stopped doing that anymore. At one point, they took at look at our table and left??? Staff approach was reactive rather than proactive - way below expectations.

Thank you so much for making a memorable, and seamless experience for my 7 year old’s birthday! From start to finish, we were truly treated with excellence- and it did not go unnoticed. The guest services team was warm, inviting- prompt- and our server May was simply amazing. Her ability to meet our needs, with secret menu orders, and 5 different ages- I was so impressed by her ability to deliver. Matthew was super helpful as well, always filling the gaps when needed. We never had to clean our table once- I mean, they totally took care of us! Grateful to Will as well, it is evident he leads by example, and that his team is close knit. Would certainly come again, especially for May!

This was my second time at Joey Markville and the experience was great. Everything from food temperature and quality of food to the speed of service was wonderful. Good ambiance with polite and courteous wait staff. Will definitely go again.

the menu has changed (a little bit) for example, sliders are off the apps, the big burger has been refurbished and tastes like an elevated gourmet big mac, there is a crab dip appetizer similar to cactus club, fried tofu bowl, a happy hour until 6 is very convenient but unfortunately prices are not reduced by much and drinks are unhappily watered down for the happy hour, so far as we could tell.

Joey is one of my FAVOURITES! Literally every single meal is delicious and fresh! My favourites are chicken lettuce wraps and chicken parmesan. Definitely recommended!
