Chef Joseph Wrede is a Food & Wine Best New Chef, the winner of several AAA Four Diamond Awards, several DiRoNA Awards and has received both Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast distinctions. Joseph’s Culinary Pub is a creation of Chef Wrede and his creative and business partners. This is the third incarnation of Wrede’s original Joseph’s Table, conceived in Taos, New Mexico, not quite 20 years ago, for which he is well known and loved within the region and beyond. Joseph’s Culinary Pub is designed to be a platform for Chef Wrede’s unique and uncompromising vision on traditional and contemporary cuisine, both regional and international. Regarding the restaurant as a process much like theater, Wrede envisions the experience of dining in his restaurant as an interactive play between the pub and the public, with his sights aimed at rivaling high art.

First time here, very ‘foodie’ and loud inside. I had the perfect seat literally next to the street sun on me. Sunset in the distance. The food is extremely specific. I had the watermelon salad after the wrong salad was brought. It bursted with flavors! The wine list is bizarre. Even a wine aficionado can’t find a bottle you know. My meal- basically lasagna with hard Greek fillo sheets. Way too much veggies. Hard to cut. Then the Himachi fried rice. Stringy veggies and very different. Top notch service. Food just meh. It’s packed no room to move so everyone here likes it. I like other options.

What a fabulous restaurant. Drinks were great and our meals were delicious. I got the duck fat pad thai which if are pad thai is a must. My wife got the steak au poivre which was not as you traditionally expect but still delicious. Service was impeccable as well. Highly recommend you treating yourself to this experience

My wife is Celiac and there are numerous gluten-free items on the menu and all the deserts are gluten-free including their Tiramisu! The best gluten-free restaurants in Santa Fe are: Arroyo Vino, Joseph's Culinary Pub, and Sweetwater Harvest Kitchen.

The dinner entrees were out of this world. They were the epitome of culinary art. Everything was so fresh. Vegetarian and divine. Servers were attentive, yet unobtrusive. Excellent training was apparent. Menu was a literary delight.Negori with a New Mexican twist… Delicious!!! Wine selection, Sonoma or Napa worthy. Joseph Wrede is a Michelin worthy chef. Joseph’s Culinary Pub is not to be missed when planning a visit to Santa Fe.
