Service was great. We enjoyed a bottle of wine so I can’t speak towards the cocktails. We started with a dozen oysters that came in an 18’ martini glass w a glowing light so that was fun, and they already were dressed with a smokey/teriyaki style mignonette and they were delicious. We then shared the ribeye and omg is this one of the best steaks we’ve had out in ages!! It came with a side of potato purée and roasted veggies and I’ve never enjoyed a side more for a steak. Absolutely perfect and decently affordable, we can’t wait to come back!!

The ambiance is great, however the establishment is very small and confined. We arrived right at our reservation time, 7:30pm we sat at the bar as per directed to wait to be seated. 15 mins later they said it would be awhile to be seated. 15 mins later we were told the same thing so they offered our first few rounds of drinks on them so that was good. We were in no hurry to dine but if we had plans after it would’ve been a problem. Food was good, service was great. We will probably return at some point.

Second time here, and it, once again, did not disappoint. The Wagyu meatballs were outstanding, as was the mushroom bruschetta. Her short ribs and my ribeye were cooked to perfection and quite flavorful. It was a lovely time, and we will return.

Positives: food was great. Negatives: seated us by the bar. Had 10 people bump into the table because there’s about 3’ between bar seats and the table. Got to the point i had to ask people to move away from the table so i could eat. Room was so cold we were shivering and i had a long sleeve shirt on. Was 65 outside and the air was on full blast. It’s was beyond uncomfortable. I left and despite the excellent food i hated the entire experience.

The ambiance look is romantic but the music was a little loud upon coming in. The drinks are God awful expensive. The food was really good but I don't feel as though it was worth the prices that I had to pay for it all. But, like I said, the food was excellent. Be prepared for sticker shock!

Well first got there we couldn’t find the door thought it was in the front, we had go by the side to find it took us a minute to realize where the door is it at. Then once we got checked in and sat down, we didn’t realize how small the tables were and uncomfortable the chairs are. The service was okay it took a while to get our drinks and appetizers, that’s probably the only good thing I liked about the place was the apps and cocktails. But the food was just lacking, I get the whole vibe but if you’re going to charge that much then I expect more food on my plate but the whole atmosphere was energetic which I also loved and the whole decor I thought was really cool. Overall if I do come back I would just do the apps and cocktails, I hope in the future the food will be brought up to par with the ambience because the whole vibe is just awesome!

We had a fantastic dinner. Everything tasted wonderful. Blue cheese stuffed dates, Caesar salad, filet, and lava cake. Our waiter was new but very attentive. Chef came out to chat with us. Two small things. Music is pretty loud so if you have trouble hearing request a table away from speakers. Caesar salad was tossed unevenly. Really funky art on the walls. Very dark inside (that seems to be a theme in Arizona). Will totally go back again if we go back to Scottsdale. Thank you for a fabulous meal!!

J.T. Prime is a great addition to Old Town Scottsdale. The food is great and service is even better. The ambience is a nice change from other nearby restaurant alternatives, offering a cool lounge vibe and excellent play list. We've been there a few times and will definitely return.
