The cocktails were creative and delicious, the food was flavourful and beautifully presented, and the service was attentive but not remotely pretentious or overbearing. What a wonderful evening, and perfect location for a pre-concert meal.

I appreciate the location of the restaurant being across from a concert venue, but the lack of preparedness for a Saturday night crowd wasn’t ideal. We waited very long for drinks & food. Food was pretty cold when it arrived, missed the opening act, generally quite disappointing.

Very beautiful inside the restaurant and our server was very nice and attentive. The food was okay, we ordered cheese and prosciutto to start and it wasn’t impressive to be honest. The cheese was just cubed with chopped peppers on top. The prosciutto was slicked so thick and rough, it wasn’t presentable at all, and there was more fat than meat. We then ordered the braised beef rigatoni and striploin. The striploin was delicious, we were very happy with the portion and the flavour, however the rigatoni was okay, it didn’t really have much flavour. Another thing that turned me off right away was my husband was paying for parking on his phone as soon as we got there and when we walked in they offered to take our jackets, my husband didn’t respond right away as he was trying to finish up paying for parking and the man asking for our jackets rudely asked for my husbands jacket. It was bizarre. Anyways the 2 servers on the floor were really great if overall give this restaurant a 2.5 out five stars.

I wanted to love this place as the staff are wonderful, the ambiance a lovely mix of hip and comfortable. My husband's old fashioned cocktail was top shelf. It's just that the food was, well, not exceptional. Two of the four of us had the duck breast, and maybe for duck lovers it would have been great but for those fairly new to eating duck it was unenjoyable. I had the eggplant, not because I'm vegan but because I love eggplant. The eggplant itself was nicely cooked but all it came with was a tiny spoonful of hummus and a little pile of spice mix. It felt very virtuous and missing some elements to elevate it to the $28 price point. The fourth of our party had black cod. When I asked her how it was she said 'fine', and left a portion on her plate. It's one of those places where everything is extra - bread, veg, starch. So it added up quickly. Olive oil lemon cake sounded exciting but was bland. Certainly no better than what I make at home. So maybe this should be 3 stars? But again, staff and ambiance great. Maybe we just ordered badly.

The hostess was very welcoming. She informed us of their 'happy hour' mixed drink special. My wife had a Negroni and I enjoyed a Dark and Stormy - delicious. The staff were VERY attentive to us and recommended a nice chardonnay to go with our BC Black Cod served with a sweet potato puree. We also enjoyed their crispy brussels sprouts which had a bit of heat added - delicious ! The desert was not overly sweet and was served with mascarpone cheese. We were surprised at how reasonable the bill was. Judaline is conveniently located across the street from The Danforth Music Hall. We'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful evening with friends and all felt Judaline was a hidden gem! Cocktails were delicious and interesting. Scallops and Bream particularly outstanding. Accompanied by a lovely Austrian Gruner Veltliner. Service was attentive and patient as it took us a while to get settled and choose! Thank you for a great evening!

4th time here and consistently fantastic dishes. My friends who came for first time and are west enders thought it was fantastic and would hike across the city to come back. Great job team, so happy to have you in the neighbourhood! Really want you to bring back the deconstructed lemon tart, it’s just sooo good!

The food was amazing, duck breasts, and halibut were cooked to perfection. The shoe string fries were seasoned very well, but if you are not a fan of malt vinager, you might not like it.

Hidden jem on the northside of Danforth at Broadview. Cocktails were delicious and beautifully presented. The food was impeccable, worthy of eating with your eyes first and somehow even more satisfying once we tried it.

Good quality food and good service. It pains me to see a quality restaurant like this be seemingly slow, The Danforth has a hard time supporting a higher end restaurant. Hopefully that will change and this restaurant hangs in there.

Judaline was absolutely excellent. The service was warm and attentive. The food was outstanding, and the cocktails were expertly executed. This is one of the best restaurants on the Danforth for ambience, delicious locally sourced dishes, and drinks. We will be back for more!

A welcome addition to the Danforth! Such a treat to have a superior French inspired restaurant on the Danforth of such quality. The food was prepared beautifully and imaginatively, and the portions were generous. Service was attentive and not overdone. Enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend. NB - the sea bream was especially delicious!

Went here for a birthday dinner with friends, drinks and food were amazing and they were super accommodating because my friends have citrus and nut allergies (kinda hard to avoid completely) and they made me a birthday cake safe for everyone that was delicious!

Dined at Judaline with a few friends I didn't know about it before so it was a pleasant surprise. The food was good, though portions could have been a little larger. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. No complaints at all. I would definitely good back

I love Judaline! I wish it were closer to where I live. The food is delicious -- I had the halibut dish and my friend had the sea bream dish for dinner, and we shared. The staff are wonderful. The bartender made me a mocktail that was great - some blend of strawberry, rhubarb and other good things.

Our go-to on the Danforth. Cozy and romantic on the inside in the colder months. Lovely covered back patio for the summer. An elevated menu for the hood, imaginative cocktails, friendly service, great washrooms (downstairs) and perfect playlists. Have the Brussels sprouts and fries.

My husband and I stumbled on this hidden gem. Amazing and friendly service, quaint yet inviting ambience and innovative/tasty dishes (scallops, gnocchi and Brussels). A slice of home (Nashville) away from home. We will be back! We highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the mediocre dining of downtown Toronto. 2 thumbs up!
