Located on Washington Ave between Sawyer and Silver St. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and B&B Butcher's Steak House is within walking Distance.

We always take walk-ins so shoot us a texas or stop by and see us if you don't see a table available.

Julep is a cute bar. I love the decor. But because it’s a bar I expected my server and the bartender to be more knowledgeable about how to make cocktails. I have a citrus allergy, which can be difficult for a premade bar menu, but I’ve rarely gone to a bar that brands itself like Julep that wasn’t able to produce a cocktail that was a great alternative. The server drew a blank, asked the bartender who said there wasn’t much he could do because of cross contamination. The server enlisted the help of the hostess who offered my a spritzer and eventually a decent white wine. I was disappointed because the whole reason I went was because people told me about the great atmosphere and cocktails. Unfortunately, the cocktails part wasn’t true at all.

A classic cocktail bar with a welcoming vibe, large leather booths that seat 8 men comfortably. Great music stream. Vintage decor with old tavern feel. Cocktail drinks were creative and the classics were right-on, with dried fruits and garnish was artful. My favorite Dark & Stormy!

To start off the drinks were well made and all delicious. It was a moderately busy night for you all. My wife and I have been to your establishment many times and always enjoyed ourselves for years. We were celebrating her 40th Birthday and had family from out of state visiting for the occasion and we wanted to show them an experience of a great cocktail bar. My only negative about the night and experience was that the server was rude, impolite, and inane. It appeared that she was overwhelmed with her customer load in her section but she was not attentive. When we asked questions about the menu, specifically her brother regarding an Old Fashioned, she referred to it as an old person’s/gentleman's drink which was dumb and a little insulting to those of us at the table for whom that is the drink of choice. My issue is that my wife and I felt the server made her little brother feel embarrassed and uninviting very loudly in the setting and was not helpful. I could see she was weeded out and running around but she needs to do better. The shorter gentleman with dark hair, bartender that seemed to finally notice she needed help was exceptional and provided the level of service we are accustomed to at your establishment. We hope to make it by in the future, but if that lady is somehow our server I will probably immediately walkout or request someone else to help us.

I had made a reservation to celebrate a friend's birthday. When we arrived, we were seated and weren't told until much later that the oven was broken and there was a limited menu. I feel like we should have been called ahead of time and notified of this issue so that we could make a decision about whether to come that night or not. Everything else was just okay, and I had high expectations because of all the good things that I had heard about Julep.
