Food was excellent. Server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. Her recommendations were terrific. Food was very good- Rule # 1 of restaurant food service- "Hot food HOT and Cold food cold!" was applicable to our meals. Good time had by all!

My husband and I went for my birthday, food was everything I imagined, service was underwhelming. Our server was training someone and on multiple occasions I could see them standing in the kitchen while our drinks just sat on the bar, check sitting on the table waiting to be picked up, or just waiting to take our order. I’ve never been to a restaurant where no other staff can run food or drinks to tables besides the server themselves—frustrating to say the least. Especially since multiple servers picked up drinks for their tables as our sat, the bar wasn’t busy and the bar tender also just left the drinks on the bar, getting watered down. I would come back but I would request a different server or sit at the bar. Regarding food: we started with truffle fries, hot delicious, crispy—everything you want in fries. I ordered the scallops and risotto, also amazing. My husband got the chicken sandwich. He. Said it was good. We didn’t stay for dessert due to limited options and disappointing service we had already received but we will be back to give it another shot.

Was a wonderful experience, yet again. Catherine was the perfect example of professionalism and hospitality. A tip: when food is dropped at the table, EVERY person should confirm what is being dropped. The young lady dropped the shared plates at the table and simply walked away. Outside of that, bartender and server, Amanda’s service impeccable & attentive.

I had high expectations for our experience. It was my and my guest's first time dining. Our server was nice, but the food (appetizers and entrees) was bland. I likely won't revisit Junior's and can't say that I would recommend it to others either.

We met friends for lunch at Juniors and everyone was in agreement- the food was delicious, the service was fantastic and the restaurant is always spot on in both areas. We look forward to returning for lunch or dinner.

Overall good experience. I’ve read a lot of reviews about the loud noice level but that’s everywhere now. There’s nothing like carpet or curtains to absorb the noise esp in a small place. So I booked outdoor balcony on the OpenTable app, but they didn’t have enough servers to work that section. Brussels were delicious. My friend enjoyed the scallops. A lot of risotto came with it. My Honey Citrus shrimp tacos had way too much cabbage slaw on top. And it needed a sauce or more sauce. But the shrimp were good and seemed like a healthy meal.

We waited 20 minutes for our waters to be filled. Then ordered two junior burgers which came out another 25 minutes later. The burgers did not come dressed- they were 2 smaller, sort of smashed up patties, in a bun. It was 8:30pm on a Friday night but there were only a couple of tables being serviced at this point and a few people at the bar. Maybe there was a private event upstairs which could’ve taken over the waitstaff and kitchen, but regardless, the service and food value was quite poor. On a completely different note, the music outside was extra loud- we could barely hear ourselves talk. We live in the neighborhood and have been to Juniors a few times so this was a disappointing evening overall.

I ate the butternut squash salad which was delicious and I took red beans home for dinner. Spicy but not too spicy. Wish I lived closer

Delicious food. Eclectic menu. Way too loud though. I had to shout to have a conversation with my guest. Service nice albeit a bit slow. Would not want to sit in the main dining area again. Just too much noise. Otherwise great.

Junior‘s on Harrison is my go-to place when I come to New Orleans almost monthly to visit my son, DIL, and little grandson. With all the fabulous places in town, I love Junior’s and order Gail’s spicy chicken sandwich just about every time. And the brussels as a side. Astounds my family!

Excellent dining experience. Truffle fries, shrimp tacos, and radiatori bolognese were among our favorites! Cocktails were good, but seemed a little light on the liquor, coming from someone who is usually pretty sensitive when it comes to alcohol.

Junior's has been on my "To Go To" list for about a year now. We live in Mandeville, my mother is 89 and uses a walker so it just hasn't been the easiest choice for a dining option. I finally decided that we were just going to do it and am so glad that we did. I had the seared scallops with risotto-I love scallops and they're hard to find on a restaurant's menu- these were GREAT. My mom had the blackened redfish and is already talking about going back to have it again. She was 2 tiny fingerling potatoes shy of cleaning her plate, which is unheard of at her age. The service was good and the restaurant was visually appealing. The acoustics are not conducive to conversation (at least not when your dining companion wears hearing aids), but we went to eat and spend enough time together that talking can be accomplished elsewhere.

Love this restaurant! My first visit on a Sunday afternoon wasn't so good, however. The noise level downstairs was really obnoxious...really annoying. A couple of large tables contributed most of the noise. And I don't recall seeing online that Sunday only has a brunch menu. That was disappointing because at 1:00 my wife and I only wanted a salad which the menu didn't have. I'll be back again soon but wish the Sunday afternoon visit had been more enjoyable.

Food was great! We were one of three tables in. Our waitress was not attentive and I had to ask to get her twice. There were enough wait staff to cover the three tables twice! We were our waitress’s only table and she did not fill water unless asked. Did not clear glasses just brought refills of drinks and left old glasses. Never came to see how the food was or if we needed anything. And I had to flag her down at the end (taking her away from her long conversation with the bartender to get her attention for the check! But food was outstanding!

I had the Monday beans and rice special with friend chicken and it was delicious! This is a really lovely place with great ambiance.

I went to Juniors for brunch and highly recommend it! The food was very good (cheese curd appetizer and All American Breakfast) and reasonably priced. They have various mimosas and bellinis. I had the blueberry-mint froze and it was great. Our server was friendly and attentive.
