    Juniper is an excellent restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was very professional, friendly and efficient. Lastly, the ambiance and decor were upscale and inviting. We did the prix fixe, and it was the perfect amount of food. The wine pairings were well suited to each dish. Coming from California, it was a very good value for such an excellent experience. Juniper will be on our go to list when we visit Austin.

    Our first time at Juniper. Food was good, not great or memorable. Our party of 4 did prix fixe menu. First course three of us got the hamachi. Again, good not great. One got the potatoes and those were good w/ the sauce. Both salad options were good. Pasta course is where the experience differentiated. The risotto was the best dish of the night. The other pasta way over garlicky (and we love garlic) but worse, way over salted. Main dishes were also good - scallops and rib. Both good enough. Dessert was either a pumpkin/squash tart (pie) or a white chocolate semifreddo type dish. Both were good but not outstanding. Three of us did the wine paring. All were good except the dessert wine served w/ the tart. It actually tasted like you were drinking a bottle of perfume. We asked for port instead. Beyond the food, the service was great. There are so many great restaurants in Austin. For the money I'd say this one was good, with a few options great but not sure we'll come back. We sat outside so didn't have the din of being inside on a very busy saturday night. The ambiance outside was perfect.

    The food was very good but for the price, not much better than any other great restaurants in Austin. I was very disappointed in the wine pairing we had with the prix fixe. I was expecting something more interesting when sitting at the chef's counter - maybe some interaction with the people making the food? No one seemed to notice that we were there. I give the food and service a 4, but overall experience a 3 given the cost.

    We sat at the Chef’s Counter and enjoyed that experience very much. The service was excellent- our wait person was very attentive. We both ordered the prix fixe menu which had really good choices , we ordered different things so we could taste a lot of different things. Favorites were the focaccia and the honey ricotta, the beet salad, the risotto and the scallops. The cacio pepe was delicious but I prefer it to have less “sauce”. Overall a wonderful experience and we will return.

    Absolutely delicious. We came for my fiancés birthday and did the pre fixe menu and weren’t disappointed with even one item that we got. They even brought a candle with his dessert and gave him a little gift. Highly highly recommend. We loved this place.

    I came here one and a half years ago and it was spectacular. This time it was mediocre at best, and for that price it should be much better. I had the prix fixe menu, two of the courses were terrible, two were moderate and one was good. I also had the wine pairing which was disappointing. My partner had a similar experience.

    One of the best meals I have had in a long time. A perfect date night or birthday spot. The prix fixe menu was perfect for two people so we could each try something different and share. Stars of the show: everything. Service was wonderful. You won’t regret eating here, and you will leave day-dreaming about their potatoes and cacio e pepe. 10/10.

    First time here for dinner. We absolutely loved it. Food was amazing. We had the sablefish, vacío e Pepe, little lettice salad and dessert. Fine dining, outstanding service, beautiful decor. Will be back.

    We were so glad we chose the fixed price menu, as every course was a flavor adventure. The sommelier paired wines beautifully with each plate individually. Highly recommend the little gems salad, the Joe’s (espresso) martini, and the cabbage with chili oil. They accommodated a dairy allergy easily, and impressed our visitor from London.

    Great dining experience overall. Food is good, but the value for the price tag just isn't there when considering fine Italian dining across the board. This is subjective of course. Stick to the white sauces and you should be happy.

    An unexpected gem! New to the area and planned a last minute dinner. Authentic Northern Italian in a good way. Not too heavy. Best risotto I’ve ever had. Light and so flavorful! Will be back!

    My wife and I sat at the chefs counter for our 1 year anniversary and it was an incredible experience. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend coming here if you want a wonderful dining experience.

    Juniper is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The oysters are delicious and the agnolotti pasta is a perfect pairing of Parmesan and butter lemon cream sauce.

    The food is fantastic. The prix fixe option has a great selection from the à la carte menu; it’s worth having all the courses. A staple for me every time I’ve been here is the cacio e pepe, I can’t get enough of it!

    Our waitress was FANTASTIC! We celebrated our two year anniversary and they brought us two glasses of Prosecco, on the house! The prix fixe is what I would recommend for dinner. You get a blend of everything (however your whole party must get it to do it). Food was super high quality and delicious—be prepared for smaller serving sizes for the prix fixe. But you are getting five courses. If you eat a lot, probably best to have food before coming. Overall, super nice dinner—would totally go back!

    Gorgeous evening! I took myself to dinner here just me and my kindle and the whole experience was delightful. Lovely food, staff, and environment. I certainly intend to come back both solo and with guests. Highly recommend!

    We had a great dinner experience at Juniper. Went for the prix fixe experience and got to taste a lot of the menu. The only disappointment was the short rib. It was dry and not memorable. The beets were amazing, the salads very delicious and the campanelle pasta was to die for! The milk and honey dessert was just ok. Our waiter was very attentive and the food service was just the right pace. Not slow, but not rushed either. Would definitely come back!

    Excellent, service was great. Puffy potatoes 10/10. Rissoto 10/10. Espresso martini 7/10 - not much of an amaretto girl. Caution with the stuffed pasta pillows when you poke it it explodes. Anyways, will be back!

    We ordered the pre fixed menu and honestly I wasn't a fan of the food options. Each course had pretty strong and heavy flavors so even though the portions were small they seemed really filling which just felt like too much. Service was excellent though and the ambiance was nice.
