   We booked this dinner to celebrate my Boyfriend graduation from college, we had the pre-fix menu, which is a great value. The best part of the meal was the Cacio E Pepe was so delicious that it made my boyfriend cry, Ian our waiter was phenomenal, and the wait staff were very professional We will definitely be going back

   I like how the restaurant sources local ingredients to create Italian food. The ambiance was pleasant. The staff courteous, and the food was pretty good. If you are looking for bold flavors and innovative combinations, this is not the restaurant for you. We ordered the prix fixed menu and each course that came out was good, but it didn't "wow" us. The risotto was a little under done, the individual grains of rice was still gritty. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The protein dishes were also cooked to perfection. Salads were well balanced and desserts were both pretty good.

   Wish I could give a 4.5 for the food as it was excellent. Only the cabbage entree didn't do it for us. Under seasoned/done. The Cacio e pepe was incredible and more than made up for it. Juniper managed the entree for us which was unnecessary but appreciated. Service was fun, informative, and timely. We'll be back!

   Outstanding dinner, from beginning to end. The menu is creative, delicious, and well-executed, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable (but never over-bearing or pretentious), and the space is elegant and welcoming. I’m an Austin newcomer, but this is already one of my favorite experiences. Don’t skip the bucatini, or the cauliflower! They were highlights in an evening full of them.

    I rarely post on OpenTable but last night was a very unpleasant experience. The place is beautiful but the two (!) short ribs we were served were inedible. The sablefish was also not much and the tiramisu (which the manager graciously comped due to challenges with short rib) were not any better. That said, the pasta with duck ragu, the baby lettuce salad and the chocolate bourbon dessert were terrific. All in all, very disappointing for such a beautiful and highly rated place.     Each course on the prix fixe menu was better than the last. I audibly said wow when I bit into the cacio e pepe, and the post oak grilled short rib melted delightfully in my mouth. Definitely recommend!

    Attended their Mother’s Day brunch. All the courses were delicious and interesting. We added the oysters and they were very small but tasty. Service was attentive and we enjoyed the atmosphere very much .

    My fiancé and I brought his mother here to celebrate Mothers day and it was fantastic. We did the Prix Fixe for the experience and it was very good. We also tried a plethora of drinks and they did not disappoint either. It was a little loud but that’s because it was busy so I’m not faulting them for that at all. Our waiter was great, the food and drinks were served at a great pace. Overall very happy with our experience.

    Great experience overall. Attentive waitstaff and gave fantastic recommendations. Excellent food - I especially liked the sablefish with artichokes. Food came out quickly as well. The space was a bit crowded - when our waiter was taking our orders, several customers had to squeeze by him/ask him to move.

    Juniper is truly a gem in Austin. I’ve been in Food and Beverage for about 16 years. I’ve worked for Michelin starred chefs and the food and service here, matches that feel. Christiano, our server, was so knowledgeable and definitely engaged with my party and from what I was able to see, was able to engage every other guests with such pleasantries, jokes, and service. I cannot stress enough at how pristine and enjoyable Juniper is. The small, but delicious menu is meticulously curated, and if it wasn’t for such a small stomach, I would have ordered the whole menu. Continue to do what you do, continue to excel in all aspects of the restaurant. I’m sure the Michelin guide will be right around the corner. Thank you so much for hosting us last night, and thank you so much for your service… both back of house and front of house.

    Went to Juniper for my girlfriend's Birthday Dinner. As the coursed dinner began our server helped us to a complimentary glass of bubbles to toast. All six courses were absolutely phenomenal, from start to finish. The pasta options were outstanding, with the Cacio e Pepe blowing us away from the savory and creamy balance. Our server brought us a candle with our final course and wished my girlfriend a happy birthday. The Cocktail menu felt thought out and balanced, although I wish there were another sweet, summer-oriented vodka cocktail on there. All-in-all 5 stars.

    The multi course fixed price experience was a hit with our party. Being able to choose between an option or two for each course is a real perk. We felt like we tried every item. Flavors were dynamic, food, especially the pasta dishes, were fresh and filled with diverse flavors. Accompanying wine and cocktail menus were great and service was attentive and positive without being up in your business all the time. Will definitely return.

    Food was excellent. I hoped there would be more vegan options, but there were a few. Valet parking costs $12, and the food prices were in line with similar high-end dining establishments. I had an excellent lettuce salad with tiny romaine lettuce cores, halved and drizzled with a nice dressing and artfully displayed. I also had the roasted cabbage, which was a bit crispy and burned on the outside, but the core of it was quite good. Lots of spicy crushed red pepper and a nice white bean hummus finished up the nicely displayed plate. I only wish they were a bit less stingy with the hummus. My wife had a pasta dish with dandelion greens, that was quite good and very green. Pasta is egg pasta. All-in-all, very good. They also have a nice bar, which was somewhat noisy. We enjoyed a very quiet dining experience in the covered patio outdoors.

    We recently tried the prix fixe menu at Juniper and it did not disappoint! The campanelle was very flavorful and exceeded my expectations. Similarly the short rib was extremely tender and definitely worth coming back for. I initially ordered the tiramisu and was not a fan, however one of the servers noticed that I didn’t eat very much of it and offered to replace it with the milk & honey which was infinitely better. I really appreciate how great the service was and their attention to detail.

    I like the prix fixe. You have the choice to pick what you like with the proposed list. The cod I chose was kind of cold. So it was not very good. I do believe certain dishes arrives not warm so a little disappointed.

    We are high end foodies and a little snobby about great Italian food. This place is one of the most exceptional we have experienced. Staff were so attentive and engaging yet not intrusive. Did a five course PreFixe and WOW... every item was delectable. Bar did a wine pairing which only further delighted us. This place is not to be missed.     Had been wanting to try Juniper for a while and am very glad we finally did! I have been to Italy a bunch of times and I can honestly say that the food at Juniper tastes very authentic. Prix Fixe menu has most of the regular menu items and I feel like has a very good value. It’s a lot of food but was nice to try 10 different items on menu between the 2 of us! The service was outstanding - I was very dehydrated and kept drinking a lot of water that magically kept getting filled back up without me noticing or having to ask. Great job to the staff at Juniper! Certainly will be back!
