K O’Donnell’s Sports Bar and Grill has been a family-owned sports bar in North Scottsdale since 2005. KO’s was founded by legendary poker player Kevin O’Donnell, who sold it to his daughter Jennifer in 2013. Jenn has helped establish the bar as a great place for regulars who often refer to it as Scottsdale’s’ “Neighborhood Cheers”.

Jenn has done well to grow the K O’Donnell’s legacy by introducing a menu of great food with fresh, quality ingredients coupled with a drink menu and beer lineup that makes it one of the top sports bars in Scottsdale. We had a great dinner. Two of us had the fajitas and they were excellent! It was a little bit too noisy if you want to talk to each other. But it is a sports bar which we should have expected. We wanted to sit outside but it was too cool out. The patio is really nice when the weather is nice.

We felt lucky that we could get reservations on a Saturday night when Scottsdale was super busy - and to our surprise the food was reasonably priced, good quality and varied enough for all tastes and dietary preferences. Add to that friendly and attentive service and overall we were very happy with our dinner!

Horrible experience. Waited 10 minutes or so before we ordered drinks. Wait another 15 minutes or so for the drinks to come, the waitress blaming the bar for losing the ticket. Order an appetizer which was chips and queso and that took WAY longer than expected. Eventually put in our food order. About 20-25 minutes later the waitress asks us if we are ready to order food. Completely disregarding that we had already ordered 30 minutes ago. Even more concerning that she thought leaving us sit there for 30 minutes without ordering was okay. Food came out eventually and it was good. No complaints on food. The most frustrating part of the whole visit that topped the already poor experience is the fact we sat at the table for 35 minutes with cleared plates before we were brought our check. Waitress blamed the bar for our drinks. Kitchen for our long food times. Explained to us how hard it is to keep people in the high turnover hospitality industry. The restaurant was probably 50-60% capacity. Not that busy. And she only came to our table maybe once every 30 minutes. Forgot we ordered food, and blamed everyone but herself for a miserable experience. Will not return and do not recommend

Went to dinner with my husband. Saw our waitress maybe a total of 2 times. My husbands food came and he was satisfied but my food took over an hour to come out…. So my super pregnant self had to sit there sharing his food waiting on my salmon….. waitress didn’t even bother to get us drink refills. Honestly very very disappointed and do not plan on returning. The place wasn’t even very busy only a few tables were filled. Just overall a terrible experience and will definitely not be returning….. his food was great but mine was non existent….. I would have been a little more understanding if the waitress bothered to even stop by and ask how everything was or refill drinks or anything…. Or if the place was actually busy but it really wasn’t. I just don’t understand why it took over an hour to cook a piece of salmon and the salmon wasn’t even a big piece it was actually very underwhelmingly small….

Loved it Not pretentious. Staff were friendly, accommodating, efficient. Great tasting salads, esp the steak and feta Great chicken wings, some of the best I have ever enjoyed. Loads of sauce options. We had Honey hot, bourbon bbq and Thai chili sriracha. All good. Great value. If you want to watch sports, the tv screens are all over but yet if you aren’t interested they aren’t in your face. Perhaps it would be different during the Super Bowl!!

We dined here to watch the USA World Cup Match! The restaurant was packed, loud and so much fun energy! The staff was wonderful and remained cool and calm with all the tables they serviced. Good took longer then it would of on any other given day. But that was to be expected. We will try to return and watch another World Cup game while we are in Scottsdale.

It was my first time eating at the restaurant since 2020. Been here before and always enjoyed our meals and the variety of items on the menu, fun atmosphere, great service. I called ahead to be sure we could sit on the patio as my dad is apprehensive still to eat indoors, Made my reservation though Open Table but called the restaurant to confirm. The hostess was so helpful and secured us a patio table... a lot to ask on a Saturday for brunch! The service was friendly, busy and kind. Personally I LOVED seeing dogs, babies and people of all ages! They even served giant dog bowls of water for fur guests! Very cool when a lot of restaurants are starting to turn away from that. It was a pleasant experience and dad enjoyed himself. It was LOUD and people looked just like they were at home in their backyards watching a game. Wonderful environment. I didn't happen to keep my receipt but I gave a brief look at my check, and I think our server was Sheyan? I'm sure I'm not spelling that right but she was a blur tending to everyone in her care and always with a smile! She checked on us several times. I was really impressed with how the servers were bouncing back & forth and still having a great rapport with guests and pets alike! Even if you find yourself with no plans one day or evening, I bet you can go to KO's all on your own, and still have an amazing time. It'd be like hanging out at your neighbors backyard party!

Very good atmosphere, not dark and gloomy. Food was generous portion and tasty. The chicken stir fry didn’t have enough chicken but tasted good and the martinis were watery. Too much shaking in the ice. Chicken wings are delicious, steak wrap tasted great and I had it on a gluten free bun. A fun casual place to have dinner.
