culinary school, he began studying Kaiseki Course at a hotel. When he turned 27, he became sous-
chef at Hotel Nogamiya.
While there, he participated in a Tokushima Culinary Contest, where he won first prize. When he
was 35 years old, he joined Tofu Kaiseki Restaurant as their head chef.
During this time, he also studied French cuisine for 3 years, training under a Head Chef who had on-
the-job experience working in a prestigious French fine dining restaurant.
Chef Azeuchi quickly became the sous chef in the restaurant. When Japanese Crown Prince
Naruhito - now known as
"His Imperial Majesty the Emperor"- made a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture, Chef Azeuchi

I’ve been to this restaurant 4 times now, twice of which I ordered the October special. Every visit has been amazing with consistently exceptional service and flavors! Highly recommended, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you miss it!

After trying both the kaiseki and sushi omakase last week, I went back for the sushi omakase and was not disappointed. It was a different menu since the menu changes every month and although I didn't expect much of a change, the courses outside the straight nigiri were quite different and, not surprisingly, amazing and delicious. After living in LA for 20 years and having sushi at least once per week (and having quite a few different and incredible kaiseki and sushi omakase meals in NY, SF, and LA), Kaiseku Yuzu (for me) is right in that very top group - creative and consistently incredible food, high-end drink menu, welcoming chefs, as well as exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable service staff. I haven't eaten sushi often since moving to Las Vegas five years ago but Kaiseki Yuzu has definitely re-ignited my sushi cravings...I'm sure I'll be back often.

A night after having a fantastic sushi omakase at Kaiseku Yuzu, I went back to try the kaiseki menu (with extra wagyu) and was not disappointed. It was another incredible meal - interesting, innovative, and very tasty! Not surprisingly, the service was amazing once again.

Got to try the soft opening for their new sushi bar. Great experience and have tried many omakase and this one is definitely going to be a favorite. Make sure to try their great sake selection if you do dinner or sushi.

The experience itself was nice. The sashimi and sushi was excellent. Everything else was so so. Anything that was cooked was way over cooked, dry and tasteless. The tempura course lacked imagination. The tempura parts were over cooked. I have no idea what about this was haute cuisine because the only thing out of the ordinary was the molecular gastronomy part of 2 dishes. I get to travel all over the country on business and have eaten at every high end Japanese restaurant in the areas I travel and this place would not even qualify for good local sushi. If you want this kind of experience, go to KISS in San Francisco or Uchi in Austin or Morimoto's anywhere. While I find Nobu a little pedestrian, it is even better that Kaiseki Yuzu. Maybe it was a bad night since it was up for James Beard but we won't be trying it again to see

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. This was the first time for a Japanese meal like this. I didn’t know what to expect. From my research before I went I thought it would be very stuffy but the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The food was absolutely delicious. I would say the best meal I’ve ever eaten. Very fresh.

Best sushi of my life, perhaps best food of my life. One thing I would pass onto people is don’t arrive early, they keep the door locked until your dinner time so you’ll be standing oito side in the Vegas heat

We had the sushi omakase and it was beyond our expectations. The hospitality by the chefs and the waitress was very welcoming. The explanation of each dish created a nice ambiance to the experience, which helped us further enjoy the dinner. We look forward to returning to try the other set courses. This was an amazing culinary experience! The food was amazing, beautifully presented, and perfectly spaced, not too rushed, not too slow. The open kitchen on the other side of seating counter showed all final prep steps leading up to each dish. P.S. The bathroom is lovely! Check it out!
