We bring the fresh, bold and authentic flavors of Indian cuisine made from scratch to La Grange and surrounding suburbs. Our menu highlights cuisine from various regions of India and its fusion with American favorites.     I just am absolutely blown away at how comfy amazing transportive this dining experience was from the appetizers all the way to the entrées Yirenny C had exceptional recommendations for me and my friend, and was extremely knowledgeable patient and lovely, everything was coursed out beautifully and delivered with care, crazy that this upscale redefined indian restaurant is in a small suburb like La Grange! I will definitely be returning and requesting Yirenny, also the hostess there was absolutely fantastic and accommodating. Didn't quite catch her name though. Thank you Kama!

    Our waitress was fantastic, she gave us really good input about the food. The place is cozy but energetic. Prices are good unless you order lobster or ribeye.... They were good, but $50. A plate, it was overpriced. Desserts are to die for!! Overall, it was a really nice experience and will definitely go back.

    The food and service from our waitress was excellent!! Can’t wait to go back. Just a little upset we forgot our leftovers in our to go box and right when we came back they were already thrown away. Otherwise 10/10

    Third time eating at Kama bistro and wow! Don't hesitate to dine here if you're on the fence. Food is elevated and familiar at the same time. Cocktails are absolutely delicious, creative and well balanced. Great wine list as well. Love this place!

    We come to enjoy dishes that are not the typical Americanized Indian menu items. Especially love the mussels. We order plain naan to wipe every last drop of the delicious sauce they are served in

    Very good food and kind staff - my only gripe would be too many interruptions of my wife and my conversations by the server - which I know is normal - but hard to enjoy conversations with 5-6 interruptions. Food and drinks were good.

    Fantastic food and service. We are thankful for our server’s enthusiastic and spot-on recommendations including the best tandoori grilled chicken I have ever tasted, eggplant Bartha, dal, sag paneer and homemade chutneys. We had another dinner’s worth of leftovers too. We will be back!

    The holiday buffet was outstanding. There were plenty of dishes to choose from and they were all very fresh and well-spiced. The chai was served in small cups so that you can drink it while it was hot.

    Celebrating my wife's birthday at a late lunch on a Wednesday. We shared the Goan mussels curry, excellent. I had the mixed chicken grill - chicken 3 ways, and my wife had lamb shank nihari. We shared some cumin rice and naan. EVERYTHING was delicious. The restaurant gave my wife a very unique dessert of pistachio ice cream (that looked like hunks of cheddar cheese) with a blueberry sauce - holy cow was it good. I don't have a lot of experience with Indian food, but Kama Bistro was fantastic.

    This transcends the typical suburban Indian restaurant through the creative food choices, ambiance and service. I always enjoy at least one of the cocktail options as many of them are designed to go with some of the spicy main entrees. One of the ways I judge the quality of food in Indian restaurants is by sampling the vindaloo as it is easy dish to cut corners on. Kama Bistro has never let me down here. Other options like black pepper curry, malai kofta and kadhai are also all well made. An easy joint to spend an evening at.
