Modern Peruvian & Latin Cuisine
Please note there is a 2 hour seating in effect weekends
Highly recommend for an authentic Peruvian meal. It’s a great atmosphere and a small venue. Great for a date night or just a night out. The food and service was amazing. Will definitely return. Given that it’s a small restaurant, I’d highly recommend making a reservation in advance.
The food was tasty and the service was great, but there was a very unpleasant smell throughout the restaurant coming from the basement steps.
First time trying Peruvian food and would definitely go back.
This is a great spot in my neighborhood. I've only had the ceviche and yucca fries both times. Both are great, but portions could be larger.
Service is friendly and attentive.
Second visit to Kay Pacha - this time we came with 6 people - Saturday night!
Food was outstanding, as always - noise level is off the charts. Could not even communicate with the people at our table ..... too bad! Don’t think we will return until the summer when we can sit on the patio outside.
Ceviche could use more salt, and drinks could be bigger for price.
All in all, we had a fantastic meal. We rolled home after with our Timmy's happy and full.
The place had a weird smell when we arrived, the manager close the door that lead to the washrooms and it got better, all the
We were 6 of us, and one of the kids was waiting for her meal for one hour and 20 minutes. We asked not to put garlic, and the food had garlic.
The manager didn't charged us for the meal, but the experience was so bad, that I would not expect him to act differently.
First time to Kay pacha, food flavours were GREAT but overall a little disappointed. Expensive for what you get. Lots of emphasis on cocktails-(which were quite pricey), wished we were warned about portions since we split two things to try. Waitresses seemed annoyed with our choice of low budget first time visit- (Sometimes just having a little at a new joint to test the waters before dropping $80/person is necessary!)
Excellent food, ceviche and the scallops are one of my favourite dishes. The service is excellent and waiters provide some great recommendations for drinks and food.
The food was very good. Their ceviche was more soup than I am used to seeing, and there was a LOT of it. It's also really, really limey...they use a LOT of lime juice that I felt really overpowered the dish. I also had the Pollo Saltado which was excellent. Their pisco sours are absolute perfection...exactly the way I remembered them from when I visited Lima.
They were out of a lot of options on the menu, basic things like coffee and fish of the day. Seems like it's badly managed, but the food was delicious.
Overall very tasty, good service and atmosphere. Their coffee machine was not working and two of the dishes were not available. Given the limited menu, this was a bit disappointing. Also some of the dishes seem very pricey. For example $32 for a noodle dish.
It was excellent, Hasan in the bar was amazing service, though I have to mentioned that he had to cover for some lack of attention from one of the waitress, FOOD WAS Absolutely Great!!
First, our party of 4 were sat at a large round table that could have easily fit 6-7, with the noise level, we felt we would be yelling over he noise to talk. We asked if we could wait for one of the regular 4 tops but were told NO. We thought about leaving but decided on a Friday night it might be hard to get in somewhere nice. We had a reservation so we stayed. We all slide to one side of the table and got cozy.
Second, the food was very good with the exception of the chicken stew which was awful, bad cafeteria food at best. Oops in the kitchen or what?
Third, the service was strange, starting with the hostess (see the first item). We wanted to try as many dishes as possible so we shared 6 dishes. With the arrival of each dish we had to call the waitress back over to get a serving utensil. After a couple times we asked if they were unused to people sharing and they said yes that was usual but still needed to ask every time 🤔. Because each dish was so different, Ceviche (amazing) to empanadas (delish) to Mussels (good) we wanted new clean small plates, they looked confused by our request. It was a strange vibe.
Unfortunately, the search for a great Peruvian place in Toronto continues!
The food was absolutely delicious and service was way above and beyond. It was unfortunate that they were out of most wines and all desserts. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends.
Best food in Toronto .. or the whole world. Love this place!
Food was absolutely delicious. However attire of servers made it less appealing. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time but food took quite a long time to arrive. Wine list extensive but selections overpriced. Bench style seating was synonymous to a cafeteria style decor.
I went to Kay Pacha with my family to celebrate a birthday. It is a lovely little restaurant with a relaxed vibe, beautiful decor, and warm ambiance. The service was good with attentive wait staff. It was a pretty chilly with the A/C pumping when we got there at 7 pm, but it warmed up a bit as it got busier - bring a sweater just in case. The food was quite good for the most part. The highlights were the Ceviche de Atun, Gnocchi Huancaina and the Chaufa de Quinoa - all very delicious! The Chaufa de Mariscos was also tasty, but needed a bit more seafood and spices to punch it up to excellent. Our least favourite dishes were the beef heart skewers which were unfortunately a little tough and a dish (the name of which I can't recall) that was like a stir fry with noodles, seafood & chicken - it was quite bland. I would come back again now that I've sussed out the menu for the real gems!
Very good food on the a bit pricey side. Service was outstanding and the food excellent. We enjoy Peruvian food and found that two of the dishes we ordered were superb, the others were very good.
Book early for a table, the bar is dark.
will be back for sure. Food was amazing and service super
Very attentive service, and extremely accommodating to our gluten free company. The food was outstanding.
Delicious ceviche and dessert! And pisco sour!! So good!!
Overall a lovely experience.
Food was fabulous, full of flavour and an interesting change from the norm. The watermelon salad is a must along with the beef stir fry.
A great restaurant in a thriving neighborhood.
The decor was amazing. However, unlike our expectations, we did not get what we would wanted - true Peruvian influence food. Also as big wine fans, the wine selection was not something intersting.
We have been trying to go the Kay Pasha for a number of months now. Service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it.
One small comment. In the past I have tried to call the restaurant to confirm some questions (eg. do they have a license to bring my own wine etc.?). There is only a recorded message (I tried many many times) as no one ever seems to answer the phone. Sometimes a personal touch of being able to talk to a person helps.
Great service. Our server really accommodated our allergy requests and recognized our anniversary celebration.
Very enjoyable dinner. Chicken skewers were very good.
What a night. Fantastic food - we had the sharing menu which was a great value and there was so much food....each item was better than the next - we ended up taking some home. The staff were friendly, there when we needed and we never had to ask for anything twice. The atmosphere was also exactly what we needed. There were 7 of us and we were seated at a large round table. We will absolutely be back!
The ceviche, seafood fried rice and cocktails are amazing. The venue is intimate and beautiful, if a little loud. Overall good experience and definitely would recommend.
The service is frustratingly slow. Reservation was at 6pm, we were the third table in the entire place and drinks still took 20 minutes. Not everyone in my party of 4 ordered an appetizer and they waited 2 hours for their main dish to arrive (restaurant was full by then). There was a long wait for the mains well after the appetizers were finished. We had other plans after dinner that were ruined. The music is too loud for normal conversation. They were out of the ingredients to serve the only salad on the menu. Their classic pisco sour is all I enjoyed and at $16 it was a stretch. During my first visit we were brought a dessert decorated with crushed pistachios even though we warned the waiter we had a nut allergy. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
Ceviche is amazing. Service is always fantastic. Small but inviting and comfortable space to dine. Love this restaurant.
The food is simple but bursting with flavour and is presented well. Portions are small, but that seems to balance out for the great quality.
Loved the 2 Ceviches we ordered. The chicken stew and Miami ribs were okay. The apps were great. Next time will try different mains.
Great place with a cool feature ceiling at St. Clair W. Nice atmospheric restaurant that serves authentic Peruvian dishes and cocktails. Will come back here again!
I have been here many time always a wonderful experience! Delicious food and great service 👌
It was a great experience. Food and service were superb. My only criticism is that $16. for a Pisco Sour is way too much.
Delicious meals and cocktails. Service was top notch.
Awesome as always!
Great sample of peruvian food, absolutely delicious.
