We loved the food - very delicious- and the warmth of the decor.
The down side was the noise level. As a popular and animated restaurant, it was noisy and we found it difficult to have a conversation without having to raise our voices. I would love to return for the food but will choose a less busy time if the day and week.
Would have been better to have the pita bread come out of the oven, hot and not cold from a plastics bag.
Very good. Their salad, appetizers, and the main dish were really good. maybe even better than a more expensive middle eastern restaurant in town! he waiter was very polite, but when I was there I wished he was a little bit more friendly, it would make the guests more welcome or attached to the place in addition to the food :)
The food and ambiance are the reason I would recommend this restaurant. The service however was less than stellar. The waiter was often impatient, leaving before we’d completed our order and trying to rush us out the door at the end. It spoiled an otherwise lovely evening.
A very cosy ambiance. Delicious food, and for someone of Lebanese origin, it tastes like home. Portions are generous.
Service is very friendly.
My go to place to hang out with friends while sharing food and enjoying a drink. Been going there for 10 years.
The restaurant is warm and cozy. I loved the decor specifically the exposed brick wall. Our server was friendly and gave us great recommendations. We started with the fattoush salad which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered 3 dips, baba ghannouj (which my companion adored), mouhammara & mjaddara. It came with a generous amount of pitas. We followed this with the kibbé nayyé which was a beef tartare, grilled garlic shrimp and the fattet makdous. The last dish was a layered dish of crispy pita, yogurt, tahini, fried eggplant, minced lamb & tomatoes. It was one of our favourite dish. I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back.
WOWWW just A M A Z I N G!!! The food was just excellent!!! It is like eating at your grandma’s house! I had the best food ever ! Just WOWWWWW Please go there - that’s honestly the best restaurant I discovered in 2019!!!!! I had the garlic Shrimp - the Fatouche - the Pomegranate humus and the appetizer AKAWI 🧀 WOWWWW ❤️ I bring clients to restaurant all te time - as a matter of fact last week I went to 4 different restaurants and none beat KazaMaza. Thank you to Fadi and our waiter. Just truly amazing 🙏🏼
The food here is always delicious! Their Lebanese wines are great value. A good place to go with your family and share a bunch of dishes.
Loved the food, the service and the mood ! It felt like teita’s food ❤️
A bit over price of the quality of food .
The service was 9/10
I love the vibe of this place and I loooove the food... I just wish their sound system was working, because I associate this place with Fairouz:-)
Food is delicious
It’s always been one of my top choices in Montreal and it always surpasses everyone’s expectations. Ps I’m Arab and I’m saying this is good Arabic food.
Waiter was not happy to speak in English
The kebbe raw was drenched in olive oil! The fattouch salad lacked flavour and you can do better on vine leaves
Super food in a calm atmosphere despite being quite busy. A definite recommendation for those who want something special.
Server sucked. Not friendly at all. Rolled eyes at me because I had many questions regarding my food allergies. Told me “this is not the place for me”.
Portions are tiny for the price tag.
The restaurant is tiny.
Not authentic “middle eastern” food in my opinion.
Overall, would not recommend.
Loved it. The food is amazing
Fantastic food that was very authentic . Well worth the walk!
On s'y sent bien :)
Excellent authentic fare. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Our table was given to someone else, the service was long and my meal was served cold (probably frozen meat).
Great food at more than fair prices; friendly service; tables close together so noisy, but overall a terrific evening.
Really good service
The food was amazing!!!!
Can't wait to go back !!
Everything was great. And the food leaves a wonderful taste in your mouth
I have been to KazaMaza several times and always enjoy my experience there.
I have had the same server before. He is very efficient but not very personable.
This may be due to the fact that the restaurant is always busy but he could make more of an effort to be friendlier.
Good food, but the service was not good. The waiter seemed pre-occupied and impatient, we felt not welcomed and almost contemplated leaving at the beginning. Not sure if I will go back.
It was absolutely delicious as always.
Great food but very noisy and small venue
We keep bringing friends to Kaza Maza for their first time. So far, everyone has told us they loved it and would definitely come back.
Great food. Great fun. Though, restaurant opened for business 30 minutes after the time of our reservation.
It was a really good experience, except for the noise, but sometimes crowdy means a good place to go. The food and service were very good too.
See you !
I drove with my whole family including my 7 month old baby, paid for parking, was greeted and assigned a table but for over 10 minutes no waiter was shown to serve us. I picked up my things and we left. Really very disappointed!
