Kellys Landing - Front Street
Our server was absolutely fabulous. Wonderful to still have a great place to eat while travelling during social distancing era.
I was expecting a sports bar vibe, so I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and the quality of food available. It's still a sports bar, but with an upscale flair. The view in the solarium is quite nice, as it faces the corner of University and Front. A nice place to meet before an event at Scotiabank Arena or for an after-work drink.
Good spot for official lunch meeting especially because of its location. Food and service is good as well.
We will be back in May with friends from Northern Ireland. My husband is coeliac and had no adverse reactions which is always a win. Small pet peeve would be that they advertise Irish coffee but do not know how to present. Should look like a guiness with cream on top. Received just coffee with whiskey in it.
First time at Kelly’s for a business lunch.
Overall, very good first impression.
More than likely will return.
The workers are great & very helpful & nice. The place runs well & has a nice vibe. All round can’t complain & good never disappoints
Excellent service and the food was delicious!
Food lacking (overcooked, some salads too much dressing others none)
Service was great. Food was terrible.
Our server was AWESOME! Food was excellent, crowd was great! Definitely will be back.
The overall feeling from the party of four was that the food was extremely tasty. The service was quick especially given how busy the restaurant was at that time of the day.
Will definitely return when visiting downtown TO.
Great restaurant to experience.
To begin with the quality of the food had dropped and then the person who brought the food to the table dropped a small bowl of hot sauce on me and the floor. He saw me wiping the sauce off my pants, socks and shoes. I’m sure any other place would have done more than just a sorry. As a norm when a restaurant drops food on you they either pay for the dry clean or makes an adjustment to the bill, Kelly’s did neither. My office if very close to the location and I don’t think I will suggest other to conduct business lunches at Kelly’s. Very disappointing service from a restaurant such as Kelly’s Landing.
Great time had
We were placed right next to the front door despite asking if there was any her table available. My business guests were not comfortable and our table was in a high traffic area. Hostess didn’t appear to care when we asked for another table.
Attentive service and good food, menu is a bit limiting.
Broad range of choices, enough for everyone and even the fussy eater.
My husband and I had dinner for Valentine's at Kellys Landing. I had previously been to the restaurant, but it was my husband's first time. We very much enjoyed the ambiance, the food and the service. From the minute we arrived we treated so well! The two servers who took care of us were great! The food was fresh and just amazing overall.
We will definitely come back and next time with friends! It's a great location downtown, right off the Gardiner.
Had an awesome Valentine’s double date dinner here before the Post Malone concert. Our server was awesome and the food and drinks were great! Convenient spot next to union. Scallops and garlic parmesan fries were our favourites
Ordered the 10oz steak with Demi glacé medium rare; instead the steak was medium well and the Demi glacé was under seasoned. The steak was under season as well. Such a waste of beef. On a good note, the steak was still tender. The plates were cold that it should be warm since both are hot items. The plate for the pasta had oily streak. Plates should be clean before serving. Servers
Should be paying attention to this small details. The first and last at this place.
We were disappointed in the food. We had the Prosciuto pizza; it was overcooked and the crust was hard and burnt around the edges. Caesar salad was fair. It was expensive for what we got food wise. Ambiance and service was great. I've become a regular but not thrilled with the food. Inconsistent... Moroccan chicken was completely different last time I had it from the time before and it was way too spicey and I wasn't into it. Thanks for listening. You need to work on the food. Your staff is amazing!
Ideal Business Lunch location with BUZZ and friendly, attentive service! The staff supported a hearing impairment with an appropriate table.
Friendly staff, good variety on menu, nice range on wine list, problem with reservation as hostess had no confirmation of open table reservation. Once seated everything went great.
Burgers were very good. The soup of the day (shellfish chowder) was not very nice and wouldn't know that's what it was if we hadn't been told. Service was excellent.
Great food. Great service. Great location. Always very accommodating for special dietary needs.
Well done, :)
Great service from Jack, good place to watch sports
Waiter and waitresses could have been more courteous. As we were sitting at our table in conversation there was a big crash from the table directly next to us. The waitress clearing the next table dropped a glass that shattered on the floor into hundreds of tiny pieces, some pieces came very close to where were were seated. We were all a bit startled by what just happened and the waitress just commented that it just broke on the floor with no real apology. Our waiter was a bit non nonchalant as he was collecting our plates and cutlery and also a bit rude as he was doing it. I had to back up a bit in my seat as he was leaning towards me with plates and cutlery in hand. As he tried to juggle it all he drop a dirty knife onto to me stick me on the arm and chest area. I was startled by the knife falling on me and felt uncomfortable as the waiter was laughing and not too concerned about what just happened. As I spoke to him about my displeasure he was still not taking the matter too seriously as he w as dropping more cutlery on the floor. As this happened I was getting annoyed with the waiter and asked that that I speak to his manager. He seemed a bit shocked that I asked for the manager and now he was beginning to finally apologize for what happened and showed concern. For this I said to the waiter to just step back and let the matter cool off a bit. After about five minutes later the waiter came back to our table and apologized again and mentioned that did inform his manager about what happened and that the manager authorized a 10% discount off our bill. I accepted the waiter’s more sincere apology this time. Later the waiter brought to our table a dessert on the house for us to share. We all enjoyed our meals and drinks except what happened towards the end of our dining at Kellys Landing. As for the waiter, he was much better at the end and I hope he learned a bit about how to respond sincerely when mistakes or accidents happen when he’s serving customers.
I was at a business lunch and didn't want to say anything, however my open faced avocado sandwich was horrible. The bread was tough and I could not cut through it, the whole plate looked like it had been sitting awhile. Very disappointed.
We arrived earlier than our reservation time and were seated no problem. It was busy as there was a Leafs game that night but service was fast and friendly. I am sorry but I cannot remember our servers name, but she was fantastic.
Our group dined at the restaurant before the Leaf game. Great atmosphere, good food and service (Sarah) was outstanding. First time and won't be the last!
I had mentioned we were there for a birthday but that was not recognized.
Also, we were there to watch the Leafs game but most of the TVs were on a delay and reception was not great. Everything else was pretty good.
Food and environment were good. Service was mediocre - our server attempted to kick us out of our table 45 minutes into our time there as they claimed there was another reservation in our spot. There was never a time restriction when we made reservations.
It’s very LOUD in there at Lunchtime. Otherwise it’s good food. Good service. Just very loud.
Asked for a booth (many available) but was given table in the open. Very noisy and people walking around us.
Business meetings often are confidential. Noticed competing entities in the same area. Seems like everyone was put into a small area.
Recommend considering lunch reservations as business meetings and space people out. If a guest asks for a booth, it’s likely due to a very specific reason.
Listen to your guests. Moved to bar and service was amazing. I managed 15 people. They know about Thai experience.
Server was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly. Able to make vegan options.
The Salmon salad was extremely small and tasteless for the price
Music is too loud it is hard to hear the conversation even though it was just the two of us.
Great place. Great food. Worth a stop.
Had the brussel sprouts which I recommend.
The poke bowl was ok.
And the open face avocado had great flavor but i didnt like the bread.
