    First time going to the restaurant and was impressed by the overall service from the time we entered to when we left. Barrie has selected restaurants, with quality service and good food. This is one of my best choice restaurant’s in food quantity and quality. We had fajitas with steak that was filling and could be shared by 3 people depending on one’s appetite. My nephew enjoyed the wings and side of fries. We definitely will return soon🙂

    The service is always great here. The restaurant is always clean. The food this time was just ok. For the kid’s meal we chose the fresh veggies but the carrot and celery sticks where chunky - an adult would find them hard to bite into. Salmon was way overcooked as was the steak. Drinks were good.

    We had party of 4 & we all loved the food...delicious and hot. Awesome service. Horrible tables/seats. We had regular seating (not bar or high) - tables are way too high for the short chairs and short booth benches...very uncomfortable. Probably won't return until they do a makeover. (We would do takeout). Was here last week with a different party of 3 and ate outside at the high tables, which were ok.

    We enjoyed our meal very much. Our waitress was very good. We would have appreciated the music being a little lower. It was too loud & we really had to speak loudly to be heard. Why does it have to be so loud? Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal very much.

    OMG - first time in long time that I didn't need to ask for anything! Usually you are looking around for your wait person for extra napkins, more pop etc. it was just there! and the table was cleared quickly upon finishing my meal. thanks Jenn!

    Our server was great! And some food was good. I had a salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp was cold. I had sweet potatoes fries on the side. They were cold too. My husband had steak that was done just as he asked. The portions seemed smaller than I remember. And the prices higher but overall the experience was okay.

    The service was pretty subpar. I shouldn’t have to look for a server because I’ve waited too long not once, but three times. Asking for something more than once on top of this was a bit disappointing

    Service was poor server was uninterested in the experience with receiving warm light warm wings and wrong order. Did not seem to care and make it right. The point for dinner is to receive hot freshly cooked food. Not food that’s been sitting for minutes. Very disappointed!!

    Thursday night 1/2 price wings and the place was super busy and noisy. Servers (none that I saw wearing masks) were run ragged. Our drinks came quickly. Sriracha-lime Wings took a while (understandably). They were a decent size but a bit dry so will order with something saucy next time. Onion rings never came so we had to remind the server. Still never came by the time we had finished our wings. Finally the rings came so we boxed them up to take home at no charge (server was very apologetic).They were overdone so do not recommend these. We were there at 6:30, so would recommend going very early or much later to avoid the rush.

    The website menu lists several items that are gluten free. In reality as per the server there are only 2 items the steak or salmon meal are gluten free. One of the diners had the Balsamic Chicken which was only the chicken and rice no vegetables. Chicken was good. Another had wings which were dry the skin cut the roof of his mouth. Another diner had wings which were good.

    We went for a family day dinner. Our appetizer which was chilli nachos came out with just a big blob of chill on top barely any cheese so they were all soggy, our waitress seemed very disinterested and not happy to be there. Onion rings were something like what you would buy pre battered at a grocery store. My son had fajitas and was only given less then a handful of shredded cheese for them. My other son had lemon pepper wings that were over doused with lemon pepper to the point where he just tasted pepper. Definitely not a good value, then when it was time to pay their machine was not letting me use my scene card. All in all it was a bust. Overall portion sizes are good, but I won’t be back there anytime soon.

    Great burgers! Consistent quality! I did find there was a reduction in the amount of fries .... but I was satisfied none the less. Kelsey's has become our go to for a casual family dinner out ... good bye ESM!

    The chicken was over cooked and inedible. And the service was friendly but almost non-existent. We love this restaurant and are frequent visitors. So, we’ll give it one more chance before taking our business to another. Our experience here is usually 5 stars!

    Dinner was a birthday/mother's day celebration. 5 guests. 4 were served their dinner in a timely manner. 5th person did not get their dinner and we had to go to the manager. We were all given a discount on our bills and a free dessert.

    I love going to Kelsey's but I find because the music is load, it causes the patrons to speak louder. Then the sound level gets so loud you can't hear well to carry on a conversation. Especially if you are there with an older person.

    Chicken wings were extremely tasteless... and dry. Butter chicken is not even in par with those home made one with VH sauce. Presentation of the chicken is like overdone and burnt, not appealing. The fried bread of the spinach dip was also not as freshly crunchy and as tasty as those we tried in Toronto, saw like oily on one side of the triangular shape bread ( all of the bread). Yam fries were not crunchy enough, like fried and then sat in the kitchen for the whole day...with lid cover( and wet). Quite disappointed... but service was ok and not as noisy as those Kelsey’s in toronto.

    When we arrived for our reservation we had to sit almost 5 mins before staff approached us to be seated. The waiting area was in clear sight from the bar where 2 staff were talking and looking right at us. When we ordered our waitress kept forgetting and mixing up our order. She kept coming back to clarify and add on items. She told us that a soup came with one of the items ordered. But to our shock was charged for this in the end. When we got our food it was cold and not appetizing. The flavour was ok, but the warmth ruined it. Once again our desert order was mixed up with the wrong topping. When we went to pay we were told our CAA membership discount was not accepted and that our Bon Appetit gift cards could not be used. I also had an OpenTable dining reward that was not accepted at first. So what should have been a quick lunch at a reasonable price we had to pay for subpar food and service with none of our discounts honoured. I even spoke to staff about my reservation by calling in before attending and confirm that these would be honoured. The staff was unaware of what open table was. They did not know that the Resturant used an online reservation system. I asked to speak to the manager and he was just as shocked. I spent 5 minutes explaining to him what open table was and the dining cheque. The staff doesn’t not seem to understand their products and services. Corporate needs to educate staff on company discounts and gift card systems as well. These CAA discounts are supposed to be at every location and the gift carts are valid at all of the Cara Resturants. However the manager refused to honour anything.

    The new decor is very nice, the server was very good and very friendly, the food was very tasty. There are two negatives in my mind .. the seats for the booths are low for the table height, and at the table and chairs arrangements, the table top is just a little small in my estimation .. but neither would prevent me from returning. Younger people probably wouldn't have a problem with either situation.
