   The booth we were placed in had leather pulled off and the window had wood shavings and were so dirty to look through. Some on tap beers were out then we didn't get a full glass.

   I’ve never had such rude service. Our waitress refused to take our drink order. Someone else took it after being there for 15 mins. She then came to confirm what our drink order was but never brought it to us. A 3rd person did that. When the 3rd person brought our drinks, she took our dinner order. Finally our waitress asked us if we wanted drinks refilled, I said yes, hubs said no but asked for water instead. She brought the water and thunked it on the table and took off. The bill she audibly sighed/groaned when I told her I had a CAA card. Never again at this location.

   The service coordination left something to be desired, which is not normally what we have come to expect from here. While we are fully aware of the current and ongoing staffing challenges, training of new personnel etc, tonight's seemed more to be about lack of management/direction. Waiting at the door to be greeted for almost 10 minutes is not a good start. Then, 3 greeters appeared so we got our seat. Then, we waited 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress to finally order drinks, at which time we were "convinced" pushed to order food too. Based on the response to that point, we did. The food arrived in a timely fashion and was of the great quality we have come to expect. But the dip ordered with the food was misplaced until I was almost done, and no follow for further drinks was made, which was most the reason we decided to go; good food and a few drinks. The service dictated we leave instead of stay. We did talk to the manager after just to let him know we were disappointed, not angry to not receive the service we normally get there. Hopefully it was just a one off and we will be back to give it a try : )

   The wait time was long (almost 30 mins for our drinks) and although the appetizers we ordered were good (and fairly quick), the rest of our food took some time to arrive (another 30 mins). When my order came (chicken tenders and sweet potato fries), the chicken was overcooked/dirty (old oil) and not edible. The hostess was nice and offered to replace them and removed them from the bill, but I didn't want to hold up the rest of my group and wait longer for my food to arrive. I ended up getting a other order of tenders to go, but they were just as burnt/dirty as the first batch :( The restaurant itself is quite old and in need of some TLC and repair - seats ripped, walls dirty, bathroom a mess. Probably would not go back to this location again.

    Was really good food. Enjoyed the evening. Found that the lighting above our table was way to sharp and bright, gave it a poor ambiance. Service was okay, we did have an error for our order and a dish was forgotten and had to wait a while for drink refills.

    Service was terrible. Table was in a very cold section. Fruit flies were in abundance and annoying. Ordered 2 apps, 1 came out and 10mins later the other 1 came out. Had to ask for plates, cutlery and napkins. Disappointing experience.

    We had a reservation at 615 for 6 of us; we were seated in a row facing people in the booths. It's pretty difficult to speak to people at the other end of the table when you're in a row like that. They took our order for apps and entrees at 650, got the apps at 730, and our food shortly after. Did I mention we had a toddler with us? The entrees were not hot, Spinach Dip had raw onion, the bread with our soup still had butter and hard cheese - it wasn't even heated. We had to leave money with our guests to pay our bill as we had somewhere to be at 845. We didn't think a 615 reservation would take that long, honestly. I understand most businesses are short staffed, but if that's the case, don't seat a whole section at the same time for 1 waitress so we can all enjoy the whole experience!

    Service was ok. We ordered an appetizer and we did not get side plates or cutlery and napkins brought until after we received the food item. Bar must have been busy as the sangria took forever. Food was the best part of the visit.

    As the service was excellent, the restaurant is very tired and in desperate need of a makeover. There were multiple bug’s flying around. Very annoying. The furniture in bad repair. It felt like the divider between the tables were ready to fall over. The booth beside us had no cover on the bench. The customer was sitting on the batting from the cushion. There was no coffee available?? One of the meals were cold. As I realize we ordered a special dinner for new years, the food portions were minimal. No fancy decorations to celebrate?? I think it’s time to shut down and have some renovations done just like the Meadowlands has done. We would like to thank “Kelsey “ our waitress who did a fabulous job. It shouldn’t be up to your servers to apologize to customers for the insufficiency’s of your establishment. Thank you and Happy New Year

    The food was very good just expensive! But I really enjoyed the meal. I had the beet and goat cheese salad with chicken! All very good except there was a little too much sauce on mine and a bit too acidic. But otherwise great! We love coming to Kelsey's!

    Must have been short staffed?? Sat at our table for a good 15 mins before we were waited on and another 10 mins before our drinks arrived. Then another 20 mins for food which was okay at best.

    I've been a Kelsey's customer for many years at various locations. This location at 1550 Upper James Street in Hamilton was disappointing to say the least. The floors were dirty, the table ambience was old and run down. More importantly the food was mediocre at best. Understanding that restaurants are struggling due to three years of the pandemic, food quality and smaller portion size is the wrong way to go in order to entice customers back. On a positive note the waitress did a good job.

    We went on wing night and ordered a few different types of the wings. The regular wings were good size and tasted great. The bbq sauce tasted more like a rib sauce than a bbq wing sauce. The hot were good if you like them really hot. The medium seemed like it was just the hot sauce with some honey in it to take it down a notch. The salt and pepper ones were good. I would recommend getting sauces on the side to taste. Steak we ordered was cooked perfectly and pretty big. Loaded potatoe was also pretty good. Kids chicken fingers and fries were ok. The chicken was a bit burnt on the outside but just figured it was from all the wings in the same deep fryer or something. The service wasn’t the greatest as had to ask for a lot of things like kids menu, crayons, waters, etc.

    Seated promptly, nice server, food came quickly and tasted good. Stars taken off because they didn't have my open table reservation, there was a big gash in the chair padding, and the tables were really close together. Feels like this location could use a facelift.

    This location felt unclean. Hostess was very unfriendly. We were seated at a very small two person table about 1 foot from another table, despite the restaurant being almost empty. They were out of two things that we tried to order, and the salad I ended up ordering came with very few of the toppings that had been listed in the description. We’ve always enjoyed Kelsey’s, but this location was a terrible experience and the food was definitely up to par!

    Everything was great except that we are two adults and placed in a section with VERY NOISY children. I would suggest sitting all families on one side and adults with no children on the other side. Ashley is an awesome server. Overall a good experience.

    This location is in desperate need of an upgrade. It is run down and sad. No wine or berries for sangria; had to wait for clean glasses, side plates and cutlery; food was ok, not like other locations. The pop machine was off so all our drinks were watery Our waitress tried but you could tell she was overwhelmed with disappointing her guests.

    Waited 20 mins for drinks in the beginning and through out our meal went to the bar to ask for more. Nachos were very over cooked with hardly any toppings Pitas for the spinach dip were very greasy and hard even though we asked for baked Ribs were chewy Kettle fries were hard as a rock Loaded fries were cold We didn’t send anything back because service was so slow we worried we would never eat We mentioned the nachos but the manager didn’t come over to talk or apologize and they didn’t give a discount or anything to say sorry Poutines we’re hot and delicious Fish n chips crispy and delicious Burgers and quesadillas were great Dessert was delicious We went to the bar for straws and napkins Although the experience makes me never want to visit that Kelsey’s again we left a great tip because we’re tippers and the guy was nice (when he was around) the food quality wasn’t the waiters fault but the lack of attention was his fault. I just feel they could have done much better The table next to us waited so long and complained and the server said they were busy with take out orders. Doesn’t mean dine in customers should get less quality because they were busy with take out. I realize they may be short staffed so maybe they shouldn’t take in as many tables if they cant ensure a great experience

    Xavier was very good but some of the food was not very good. We waited over an hour for the food. Ribs and wings were very dry and over cooked. 2 of us ordered steaks med rare and medium. The med rare was medium but he ate it anyway. My steak was so well done it was grey and the rest was ice cold. The fajitas were excellent should have order them. Xavier was good and took my steak back and the second one was perfect but they forgot the mushrooms and cream sauce I paid an extra 4 dollars for. Was disappointed the restaurant did not offer us anything for the issues. I little dessert would have went a long way. It was our 34th Wedding Anniversary so a special occasion ruined. I get covid and staff shortages but where was the manager he/she should have came over and spoke to us. We still gave Xavier a 15% tip because it was not his fault and you could see he was flustered too but very polite. He did apologize for the food!

    The menus that were given to use were completely covered in grease on some sort, probably the previous customer, doesn’t seam clean to me… But i really did love my meal and cocktail 🍹 so 🤷🏼‍♀️
