Fantastic meal. Service was great. Our server was training a new staff member, but it didn't take away whatsoever from our dining experience. In fact, it displayed his professionalism and attention to detail. The live entertainment (Duncan) in the carousel after dinner was also nice. Great evening altogether.

We were seated right away and offered drinks. Our waiter wasn’t the friendliest guy but he was polite enough. Our food came in a timely manner, however my dish was completely wrong. But they brought it right out 5 minutes later. The outdoor patio was very nice and had comfortable seating. We will definitely come back again.

We have visited Killarney Mountain Lodge on numerous occasions, by boat or by car. It has always been one of our favourite destinations. The overall atmosphere is very relaxing . Some people might find the poor internet connection a concern limiting contact with others. The room was very spacious, great view and comfortable bed. A coffee maker would have been useful for that early coffee on the front deck. We have a mixed reaction with our dining experience. The staff were very efficient and courteous. The breakfast servings were very good, however, our dinner meal of whitefish was a disappointment, the portion of fish was meager, two very small slivers on a bed of wild rice. There are numerous activities available to meet your needs, we enjoyed the kayaks. Overall, still one of our places to visit.

I had the Bison strip loin and was not disappointed in the least, I scouted the menu a week in advance and knew exactly what I wanted to order upon arrival. The food was spectacular and was served in a timely manner. It is expensive to dine here, but the quality is definitely worth it.

The food and accommodations were excellent. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Definitely sign up for a massage! And the pool and sauna were great amenities for an autumn visit. During our stay there was a convention and those guests were quite noisy in shared spaces outside of the bar. The lighthouse trail has stunning views - we easily doubled our time to enjoy the fresh pine scented air, wind, and listening to the water. Previous hikers left a surprising amount of trash which we picked up. The mattresses are supper soft, so if you like a firm mattress they’re quite uncomfortable. Overall it’s a pristine and beautiful area and the buildings are quite cozy and beautiful too. My hope is that as more visitors come to this area that the owners and visitors alike will continue to respect the wildlife and remember that we are all visitors and stewards of this place. It would be great to see more emphasis on landscaping with native plants rather than Eurocentric valued plants that are seen anywhere/everywhere. There is an abundance of gorgeous native plants in the area that are so unique and pretty!

The KML breakfast was heaping quantities of delicious breakfast goodness. Staff are quick with the coffee and our order arrived very promptly. Atmosphere was relaxing and music was tasteful at a reasonable volume. Highly recommend.

We had our reservation at 12pm but changed it to 12:30pm. After getting to the restaurant at 12:30pm sharp, we realized that there was no one inside and the waitress was busy doing her own work at a corner. When we told her of our reservation, she seemed quite irritated and told us to come back after 10-15mins since apparently the restaurant hasn't even opened up properly to serve the lunch menu to guests. We didn't quite get what is the world was going on there but the service was very poor from the start! Hope they fix this issue soon. Later on, as we ordered some food and asked for some basic condiments which didn't come along with the food and weren't even on the table, the waitress seemed a bit irritated. Still, walked out in the end paying a 15% tip though reluctantly. Hope the staff are trained a little better since we are paying our hard-earned money for pretty expensive food out there so at least the service should be top-notch!

Dinner was excellent, I had the trout. The service was a bit slow but not too bad and I feel like they were understaffed, common these days. The waitress made a mistake bringing my friend the wrong dinner, but it was quickly replaced with the right one and was delicious. When a beer that was ordered wasn't available, they delivered a small sample of a similar one to try. Breakfast was great but the same staff from dinner were also serving and again they seemed run off their feet. All in all I was very pleased with the meals.

Consistently inconsistent. The Pine Lodge Room was renovated and clean and we enjoyed or lodging very much. The food was just alright. It could have been better and must become more consistent. My meal was pretty good, my wife's, not so much. Seems the staff might be tired and they certainly need more staff. CARING is the ingredient needed for everyone working there. Care like this is most people's first time and try and be part of making it memorable..don't compromise.. good enough is never good enough. Even down to bringing the cream and milk for coffee and tea BEFORE or at the same time as pouring the coffee and leaving the tea. Don't pour the coffee and then come back in 10 minutes with the cream. DETAILS matter and at the price of he food and lodging it MUST improve and remain more consistent. But, overall, we do love the Mountain Lodge.

I was shocked at the quality of the food… this was a special occasion for me and I was very disappointed to not enjoy the meal… they also did not know I had reserved… grouchy server… so in all not a pleasant experience… the fish tasted old and fishy… I would have been better served at the chip stand in the village… glad I did not commit to the three days I had originally planned for this trip… no need to go back… food was better in the 1980’s…

I look forward to visiting the lodge every year however, this was the worst experience i’ve had in the dining room. It took 40 minutes to receive drinks for our table and refills on water were few and far between. I ordered the short rib and it was incredibly salty and tough. Overall extremely disappointing experience.

Don’t accept reservations if you can’t support the amount of people seated. We waited 45 minutes to get our first drink at dinner. Dinner came out in small chunks. Some of the people at the table didn’t get their food until everyone else was already done eating. I’ve been to the lodge many times and I have never had this bad of service: get more staff or stop taking reservations

We always enjoy our stay at Killarney. They have managed to maintain the rustic , northern experience while providing modern day conveniences. The restaurants are reasonably priced and food is fresh and tasty. Nothing compares to the Killarney atmosphere, being so close to hiking. trais and canoeing and hiking lakes. It’s a wonderful getaway to Ontario’s north!
