A third-generation Texan well-versed in Tex-Mex cuisine, Killen has developed an immense passion for Mexican ingredients, regional dishes and traditional preparations, which he has studied extensively during his travels.
On our menu, you’ll find both classic Tex-Mex plates enriched with elements of barbecue, as well as Texas-tinged interpretations of Mexican fare, all made with fresh, quality ingredients and elevated through simple techniques. From scratch-made moles and salsas to house-ground corn tortillas, each detail is thoughtfully prepared to create a transportive experience at your table.
We look forward to sharing it with you.
We love tex-mex of any kind but Killen's TMX is always our choice when we want something a little more elevated, so without the stuffiness or price point. An added benefit is that you can still enjoy some delicious Killen’s BBQ with options like Brisket Queso or enchiladas!
Our food came out hot and delicious and our server, Jacklynn, took the best care of us! We will be back!
Great trip. Social distancing was observed and tables were cleaned quickly. Staff was wearing masks.
Great food and atmosphere
The best fajitas!
Food was excellent.
The cheese enchiladas definitely tasted different then the original. The cheese wasn’t the same. I also missed their famous green sauce. Other than that it was great service.
Great place, excellent wait staff that was friendly and efficient, the food was outstanding. We loved the beef fajitas!
Great food great service!!!! Wish they still had the homemade ice cream though.
So glad to see Killens TMX reopen. One of our favorite neighborhood spots.
Wonderful dining experience form their first day back in business. Thank you Ronnie for blessing Pearland with your restaurants!
Just very great ingredients, real Mexican flavors, we are lucky to have in Pearland
Service and food were great
Best Tex Mex I have ever eaten at prices comparable to other less quality establishments. No wonder it's so hard to get a reservation on a normal day.
Always an enjoyable experience! Had lunch with friends that drove in from Florida for the now-cancelled Houston rodeo, so to make it for it we met at TMX! It didn’t disappoint.
Food and wait staff was great but food & bar delivery was slow. We went during Covid 19 social distancing, which might account for slow delivery.
Friday night date!
Food is exceptional. New twist on Tex Mex. Carnitas is delicious.
Delicious meal, quick service. Always a great experience!
Our waitress Amanda was PHENOMENAL. Unfortunately due to our schedules we were late diners. Amanda was PERFECT. The food Thank you for your hospitality and excellent food. Everything was AMAZING. We had a crowd of 10 and your team was very warm and accommodating without effort
Always pleased with Josh and Blake they take care of us and go way out of their way to do so.
Great dinner...staff were great and food was too. If you are looking for routine tex-mex you may be disappointed as this food is more smoke flavored. But it is delicious. Salsas are great too! Bad reviews of this restaurant are bogus in my mind!
New menu is very good lots of new and delightful choices... smoked Chicken quesadillas were outstanding
Fantastic as it always is. Impeccable food and service on a consistent basis. We have never had anything there that wasn’t spectacular.
Was a very nice Friday night dinner. The food was excellent. We all ate too much. But that was our own fault
Abby was great, and the food was delicious (as always). Looking forward to our next visit.
My first time here to spend after Valentines Day with my husband. He will be bringing his mother and sister who are all Gringos fans.
I think you guys need to do more advertising. I only knew about this place by picking up food for a group meeting a couple of months ago😊
Great service and definitely great food! I would be going back!
Was expecting restaurant to be a little more upscale. No white tablecloths (shown in pictures) and pretty bright lighting. Unfortunately had some pretty loud kids at table next to us (which of course is not restaurants fault). Had indicated we were celebrating a birthday when reservation was made, was never acknowledged.
Overall the food was good, especially enjoyed the brisket enchiladas and the pork belly!
Don’t recommend for special occasion but if you live in the area (we don’t) it’s worth going.
We enjoy other Killens restaurants, so decided to try this one. It is nowhere near where we live, but we made it a Destiination included in our rambling drive for the day. The interior space is very appealing, with nice lighting, beautiful artwork, and serving staff wearing very interesting and lovely shirts. Tea glasses and plates were unique and very nice.. I ordered the numero Uno which included a typical ground beef crispy taco, bowl of melted queso, a small dollop of guacamole, two cheese enchiladas, rice, and beans. I waited for the enchiladas to cool off a little bit, as they were so hot the cheese was running right out of them. The flavors of the enchiladas were delicious. I had chosen the Charles beans and they were delicious. My husband got a short rib tamale and it was the best thing we had during our meal.
The only complaint I have is that their signature brisket queso was served cold!!! Otherwise everything was very good.
Loved our server Luke. Drinks and food are amazing
Food was awesome. By far the best brisket enchiladas in Pearland!
Service from our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was very attentive and extremely friendly.
The gentleman filling our water glasses was extremely rude. I extended my thanks for him filling our glasses and he never once responded to me.
When my husband said thank you, he responded.
The brunch was good, but not overly great.
I did like my sons chicken fajita nachos and the warm salsa. Did not care for my breakfast potatoes at all.. very mushy.
Birthday treat... was AMAZING!
The brisket in the enchiladas was very tender and flavorful. The margaritas were excellent and the service was very attentive.. We also had the street tacos as a starter and they were perfect. It was easy to hold a conversation without speaking loudly. Will definitely make a return visit.
Simply not impressed with the food not the service
Just very disappointing. Everything was sub par. From old food under the table to poor service to lukewarm food. Not good at all.
Staff made sure that the birthday was extra special, acknowledging the birthday recipient in a special way.
