A wonderful and relaxing place with a great vibe, delicious food, and excellent service. One of my new favourite places!
An excellent experience! Thanks so much - especially for looking out for my 10 year old with the fruit plate :-)
We always enjoy our time at Kingfishers
We love the live music
We love the food and the atmosphere
The one thing that stood out this last time was the shear volume...
I was tempted to discuss with the manager ...
But I did not...
It was a good experience.... in spite of the noise level... but if it was a little turned down.. it would have been that much more enjoyed.
It’s ok! Still love the place and going back soon!
It was cold inside. I don’t like to have to ask for coffee especially when it’s not busy
Valentines - server we had didn’t catch her name long dark hair very good at job , professional and accommodating to what we asked for that assent on the menu that night
Thank you was great night out with no hassles or rude servers will come back
We love the Kingfisher but for Valentine’s Day we were not impressed. We had reservations and when we got there we got seated at a cramped little awkward table and asked to be moved as the restaurant was basically empty. The waitress claimed they were all reserved and we couldn’t be moved. The entire time we were there those tables all remained empty. We had no room and it was ridiculous that they couldn’t move us when there was a ton of empty spots. I’d understand if it was full but it was not even close. Not the most romantic Valentine’s Day that’s for sure.
There are few restaurants on the Fraser River. Our experience was wonderful- from reserving a table online, to being seated by the water, to a lovely hostess, to a great server, to delicious food. We will totally come back!!
The very best part of this night was the great music! Love a place we can see live music at still. The food was good, the waitress was very pleasant, overall a good time!
Food was good, but restaurant was very loud. We were happy to be on the enclosed patio, where it was quieter. Heaters band blankets provided!
It was great ,food was terrific. Enjoyed the live music but it was a bit loud. Made it hard to converse.
With reservation for 2 people, we were given the worse table in the restaurant. Eventually we asked to be moved to a more appropriate table that was not 1 meter from the live music.
Why give someone who reserves the worse table.
Just moved to Maple Ridge went there the first night excellent time good music good food will definitely go there again
Amazing,.! Great food and the service was amazing. Thank you so much
Nice location, cosy restaurant, good standard food ... they should work on the creation of Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl though ... I know it is trending now and every restaurant gives it their own twist ... but the best recipe is the Hawaiian one
The overall atmosphere and the service was nice, except the food. We orderred short ribs with vegetables. The short ribs were too salty and the vegetables were plain color and overcooked. When you order vegetables you expect at least one bright color on the plate. The food did not look inviting and too salty.
Delicious food good local produce. Music was great
Quality of the food was excellent-every bite delicious! Recommended plus plus! Excellent service all around. Bravo!
Really nice spot!
The only negative thing was we waited FOREVER to be addressed by the wait staff or even get water to the table which was unusual but also disappointing because it was my birthday and I brought people bragging about how awesome Kingfisher is!
the rest of the evening went better and of course food was amazing. The steak and my friends noodle bowl very perfectly executed great flavor steak perfectly done.
my friend did say the sangria wasn't very good and she didn't drink it :(
but otherwise great pub loved the music!
delicious food .
still love this place :)
I've been here 3 times, once when it first opened for lunch on the patio. We were disappointed in our meals this time and didn't return until many years later with a group to have dinner and enjoy the music. The music was good but not one of our group was happy with their meals. I will not be going to this establishment to eat in the future, only to have a drink and listen to the music.
Great food great service.
Great service and ambience. Food is good but not the cheaper end cost wise. I would def recommend
I had attended Kingfishers twice this month for outing's to celebrate my birthday with different sets of friends. Had a great time ! Food was great, service was excellent plus loved the live music on both occasions. Highly recommend the Bellini bombs too!
We used to LOVE this place. Food was really good and everything was made there. Food now is no different than anywhere else. Past two meals were dreadful. Ambiance is great, location is good too. Just wish the food was good!
Always good food, good service and the view is spectacular. The Brandon Isaak Duo were playing the night we went and were awesome.
It was awesome! We were celebrating my daughters birthday, our waitress was excellent handling 11 guests without an issue. She was friendly and got all of our orders right. She even managed 3 free desserts for us because of my daughters birthday. I’ve been to the kingfisher pub before and will definitely go back.
We attended a Driftwood Beer tasting menu and had a wonderful time. The beer and food were thoughtfully paired and prepared. It was a wonderful evening and we would highly recommend it.
The food and service has been hood every time we go!
I was very happy with my experience. I had ordered something that was too spicy and they let me order something else.
Arrived at 11:40 am for Sunday Brunch had a drink and placed order. 20 mins later we are informed that there were no eggs, which is very surprising it being Brunch and all 4 of us had ordered meals needing eggs. all reordered from the main menu. it took over an hour for meal to arrive. 2 of had burgers which were good but the fries were luke warm at best. We were given a $20 gift card but sadly no one really wanted it. Finally the meal was finished at 3:00pm and we made our escape 3hours and 20 mins after the start
It was our first visit to this restaurant and was a very pleasant surprise. We didn't know what to expect and our evening turned our really well.
i enjoyed sitting “outside”. beautiful view.
lunch good, but i asked for some mayonaise (for my fries) and had to pay $0.50 extra!
it is not the money, if i had to pay more for my meal i would have gladly done so, but to charge extra for a bit of mayo.......
so, in short i would not come back and i would not recommend the place.
Our experience here was excellent and it will be our future go-to spot. Great food and a view of the waterfront. Highly recommend!
Excellent experience for our whole family
The live music was suitable for all and the outdoor deck was enjoyable
Great food, great service, great view. Took friends visiting from England and they loved it.
First time here and we very much enjoyed ourselves. Live entertainment was great, we sat on the patio in order to enjoy the music from inside while still keeping for more intimate conversation.
Look forward to going back one day during the day to enjoy the river view.
Food and ambiance was lovely.
Our server Michelle was awesome, even though it was very busy and warm on the outside deck.
Definitely try the deep fried pickles. They were excellent. Food was good. A little slow but it was hot and fresh so we didn't mind. Waitress did great. We were on the patio and it wasn't as private or shaded as we were expecting.
Food was disappointing...not much flavour! Appys were good!
