   Carlos was a gem and he made sure that we were alm taken care of on Mother’s Day Celebration. They even gave my mom a celebratory dessert to celebrate a special Mother’s day celebration!

   Did a random search for good restaurants in the area and this one had good reviews, which turned out to be pretty accurate. The service was friendly and quick but not too quick as to make you feel rushed. For food, started with the aburi sushi, which was fresh and smoky. Also had the hand rolls I believe as it doesn’t seem to be on the menu anymore, which was even better than the aburi. Also the karaage and the beef short ribs for the non sushi eaters. For the mains, ordered the carbonara udon which was interesting but a bit oily. Also the curry cheese beef stone rice bowl. The curry flavour could have been stronger as it was barely noticeable at first. Overall the dish was still good and the beef was tender. Would definitely go back if in the area.

   I went here for my fiance’s birthday with friends. From the quality of food, to the ambience, to the excellent service, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a birthday! The waitress was very helpful, kind, had good energy, and was responsive to our birthday requests.

    I reserved a table for 2 people and I suggested a silent, almost semi-private section. I could tell it was busy for a Saturday night but still, no explanation after the host sat us down at a table at the front with a party of +8. You can imagine the noise and it was probably the worst table in the restaurant, I had to shrink to pass by the other table to head to the washroom. Food was okay, no complaints about that, service was just decent too. It was my first time there so I did absolutely nothing to probably move us from the table, regardless, a very first bad impression of the restaurant we got this past Saturday. Hopefully you can improve that in the future.
