After the recent sadness in Maui we were happy to see some restaurants starting to reopen. Kitchen 5315 has a limited food menu for now but the bartender was very welcoming and made us delicious drinks to go with our wings and poke nachos which were yummy!

We chose Kitchen 5315 mostly due to its proximity to where we are staying in Napili Bay. The food was a little hit and miss. We ordered some fried calamari for an appetizer which wasn’t great - very chewy and not able to cut thru with a fork. Two of us really liked our meal - both ordered Poke Tacos - but the other two were less impressed (fish and chips & fish sandwich). Not too many beers on tap either. Also - Side note - our table was leaning strongly to one corner which wasn’t great. Service was mostly friendly but overall not great.

Food very good… ample portions. Service is …. Well… Hawaiian time. Only disappointment was that when our orders came, the side orders were wrong. When it was brought to wait staffs attention… They said: Sorry about that! Hmmmmm…. What they brought was good… we ate it… and traded each other for our side dishes

The server was great and upbeat. However the host that kept coming around to clean everything off the table came too much and ended up taking food that I was not quite done with and no smile while doing it. She could be a little less tentative to the tables

Wasn’t able to get a reservation at some of the more popular spots, the service was great and the food was very good. I had the luau plate and the pork wrapped in banana leaves was amazing.

Need to hire more staff. We dined here a few months ago and liked it well enough to go back. This time around was disappointing. The food is good and a welcome value for Maui. However, the service was woefully lacking due to apparent understaffing. Our server was pleasant, but we didn't see her much and we also waited a long time for the hostess. Ironically, they were not very busy the night we were there. They just don't have enough people, or close to enough people. I'm sorry to have to provide a poor review b/c we really liked it in February. But the poor service dragged down the entire experience.

Yum!!! We shared the coconut chicken and garlic shrimp and both were excellent! We loved the food so much we’re going to make reservations for breakfast ! Ah man, breakfast was a bit of a bummer. No decaf coffee and no coconut syrup or coconut chicken sauce for pancakes like the waitress said we could order.

We dined early at 5pm and only ones dining( was contemplating leaving). Happy hour is 3-5pm (even though you will see it advertised til 6pm). IMO breakfast is better than dinner. Fish tacos was a miss, kalua pork was dry and salty. Not sure how fresh it all was but I hope it gets better.

Very underwhelming. Great service but food was mediocre. Poke bowl had little tuna and the mahi mahi was the worst. Mai tai was good. Convenient to napili beach since it was walking distance from where we were staying but food was not good and the decor was rough. For drinks it’s fine but better places for food in the area. The sea house or joeys in the shopping plaza near by.

Huli huli chicken and the vinaigrette salad was perfect. The catsu chicken surprisingly to me was really delicious as well as the side sauce. I've had the Kahlua pork here before too and it's good. Service like at a lot of places sometimes is limited so you just have to be patient. The bar scene is pretty cool there too. Lot of friendly local folks or people that vacation here often. I think it's a nice little hidden gem if you're in Napilli.

Food was great! Some areas of the restaurant are more intimate with cozy seating and the tiki bar is perfect. Unfortunately, we were seated in a large open area near the kitchen with no ambiance.

Kitchen 5315 was a pleasant surprise. Located right off the lobby of the resort ( not on the water). It’s a kind of funky vibe inside. Huge windows that don’t open. No air conditioning but fans to move the air so not stuffy. The food!! delicious and priced right. Special Mai Tai mix was aloha in a glass. The Mahi mahi perfectly cooked. The service…..fantastic. Thanks J. See you again soon. Right now the detour on the lower road makes getting there a little bit of an adventure but it’s sooo worth it. Go. Go now.

Best Hawaiian food I’ve ever had! The servers were friendly. We were a party of 3, and all our food was brought out simultaneously. We loved that! The ambiance is a bit dated and drab, but the excellent food makes up for that. Will definitely return.

Our family came here for breakfast. Delicious! I had the Loco Moco, pulled pork over rice with onions, brown gravy and two eggs over easy. We also ordered the pancakes (yum!) French toast (yum) and the fried rice with bacon, ham and eggs. Everything was delicious and large portions too Server was nice, friendly. Only complaint is it took nearly 30 minutes to get our food. Well worth the wait, but when you’ve got hungry kiddos they can loose their patience

We were at Kitchen 5315 for lunch/brunch on Easter Sunday. It wasn’t a typical meal but we liked the change to LocoMoco and coconut chicken instead of ham and eggs! It’s a beautiful location with a view of tropical gardens and the ocean.

The hostess/waitress was not welcoming or friendly. Two out of the six guests got sick after the meal. The plates and cups were dirty. The restaurant has the most uncomfortable chairs with wooden pineapples digging into your back the whole meal.

We were visiting from out of town, and one of the hotel employees suggested the restaurant. It appears the restaurant is under new management. I would not go back again the service, and the food was bad.

Our server only checked on us once to take our order and never came back the rest of the night. The food runners were more helpful than our server. We had to stand up to wave a server down just to get our check. The food was good but not worth the terrible service
