Welcome to Knead, our sustainable pizzeria based in the heart of Maidenhead. Brought to you by husband and wife team Simon & Olivia Perry, become part of the Knead fam and let our staff sling out the very best ‘zas and spritz around. A fan of spice? Sergeant Scoville has you covered with fiery British ‘Nduja, fresh chillies and a drizzle of hot honey. A classicist? Fear not, Princess Margherita is pizza royalty on our menu.

Our lively pizzeria is modest, modern and wonderful, seating 50 comfortably inside and with a relaxed outdoor area for you to enjoy the evening sun with an aperitivo and a slice in hand. Expect banging pizzas, fresh small plates, local beers and a carefully curated cocktail menu.

We’re a short walk from the train station and with Paddington less than 25 minutes away and Maidenhead being served by the new Elizabeth Line, London is on our doorstep. If you’re visiting from the capital, why not make a day of it and visit nearby Boulders Lock, Bray or Cliveden House?

    Food took 50mins. This was because of a large collection order placed. I just feel like if you book a table - you should probably be served on time, or at least informed there might be a delay on food. We had to ask to order, drink was wrong, ask how long mains would be, chase up the pizza crust dip (it was then brought when we’d finished mains). Just a really poor visit. Pizzas were good when arrived. But poor scores all round as of the huge delay in a pretty quiet time. Shame as my friends were new and wouldn’t now return. And I was going to get takeaway for my partner and his parents waiting back home (plus a salad for my tea) but decided to spend my money in M&S instead. Won’t return to dine in. Maybe collection as you seem to get preferential service. Hateeeee not leaving a tip too for the team, but couldn’t warrant this after such a long wait.

    Just a great restaurant. We've been twice as a couple and once with our kids. Pizza is exceptional and we love the sharing platter. Waiting staff are always engaging. The place is usually full with people having a good time and in early evening really welcoming to children. We love it.

    Was a bit hot, it was a nice atmosphere not too busy. Nice food and staff are quite attentive , card payment had issues but the waiter dealt with it !!!

    So nice to see this business flourish in Maidenhead, this is only my second visit but the pizza's are delicious and it has a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere, would highly recommend.

    Absolutely delicious food that arrived promptly and was piping hot! Staff friendly and welcoming just a few tiny tiny improvements eg not whipping away plates when we are still eating and there is still food on our plates! (It was only crusts but the crusts are delicious when dipped in the chilli oil!) Our second visit and we will most definitely be back! Thank you xx

    Excellent pizza as always. Restaurant a bit smoky and fire alarm went off twice it but was well managed and staff very apologetic. We will be back again!

    We love coming here and have been 5+ times now, the food is always delicious, staff really friendly, great vibe. You sometimes have to wait a while for the food to arrive, but we'll definitely keep coming back!

    Generally disappointed.The service was woeful,eg had to ask for plates to be cleared, staff not attentive and diners food served at different times.I would have expected better from an independent business and the 12.5 % service charge an insult. I would suggest you get rid of your waitresses and let the customers order and collect from the serving area.Will not be returning.

    Great little place to go before the cinema, but because it’s a small place it is very loud and can’t hear each other talking as have to kinds of raise voice to talk, other than that a nice place

    Lack of atmosphere the waitress was either new or didn’t understand much English she looked a little confused and we asked for water at the beginning of the meal when we ordered the drinks after ask 3 times it eventually arrived half way through the meal The pizza base lacked the amount of tomatoe sauce considering the size of the pizza base maybe there is a shortage of sauce in there premises Overall I’ve had better pizza from Aldi

    I really enjoyed the food but found the noise level too loud. There needs to be some soft furnishings to bring the noise level down. I would recommend but also advise on the noise level. No good for anyone who wears a hearing aid.

    only 4 pizzas came out and remaining had to wait several minutes for next batch. No aoplogies for this. Quite slow at service and didnt have our table ready despite booking. Delicious pizza though so worth the wait.

    Faultless pizza, really impressive. Not sure why pizzas just cut into quarters for children. Unfortunately service wasn’t great, server didn’t seem very happy at all.

    Loved this place, pizzas were the best I’ve had in Maidenhead, really authentic, thin and full of flavour. They also have Stardust brewery IPA what’s not to like. They wouldn’t give their dough recipe secrets away!! Will be back again for sure.
