The Kolkata Club was born out of nostalgia: our memories of going to the clubs with our parents when we were children, and then ourselves as adults; lazy conversations over a cup of tea or a drink at the bar, the comfort of meeting the same people regularly, and a menu that we had almost memorized.
Fri–Sun 12:00 pm–3:00 pm
Tue–Sun 5:00 pm–11:00 pm
I was impressed with the food and service - will come again ; I really liked goat dish- I will rate it as 4.5 out of 5
Worth the drive from Stoney Creek! The staff were very accommodating, pleasant and knew what they were doing. The food was different and quite delectable.
we were there for dinner (4) adults. 3 servers changed, person taking orders did not write or reconfirm so one item ordered was in correct. we did not make a fuss, though she asked at the end if we need to take away the right item, of course charged us for the wrong one. we have been there a couple of times before , but there is no consistency in the quality of service and professionalism. drinks were ok, took a while to arrive with 3 people at the bar.
Service - The customer service was great - prompt food delivery (within standard time limits), attention given to our kid for food choices (spiciness), no wait time for name sake
Food options - beverages menu had many unique options and food options suited us. One suggestion here was to include soups for starters.
Ambience - Perfect for a date or some family time away from routine. The lighting was perfectly dim. Candles were lit up for a candle light and some additional lighting.
Hands down the best Indian in the GTA!
Delicious and inventive British Indian cuisine served by amicable wait staff in a lovely ambiance. Everything we ordered was delicious and well made. I'll be back.
We loved the decor and enjoyed the tasting menu. We will Definitely be back
Amazing creativity with the food and drinks . Loved it
Great food, service , ambiance and decor. Highly recommended. Best Indian restaurant in the GTA.
This is my 5th time to this restaurant and always have a great experience. The ambiance is amazing. The lighting, seating create a very cozy environment. The food dishes are to die for. The red chili chicken tikka and lamb chops appetizers are delicious. The Lal Maas, Tawa fish and Prawn curry in coconut is heaven. The Gulab Jamun with coconut ice cream is just the perfect finish after an amazing main course. I would definitely recommend and encourage people to try this place for its perfect dining experience. 2 thumbs up and keep up the great service and food quality.
The food falls short of the elaborate descriptions the menu provides. The roast chicken is far from it should be. It was just another chicken curry....
Great ambiance and very tasty food and ice cream, very good Anglo Indian and Fusion food, extremely innovative, and the garlic nann was exceptional.
Food and drinks were great. It’s a bit too dark and I found the drinks to be delicious but a bit too expensive
We have enjoyed our meal.
Enjoyed the food as saw new items on the menu, all items were flavourful!
Excellent dining facility; the food was delicious; service was friendly and the server was very knowledgeable. Would definitely return
Food was good. Service was excellent. One disappointment was being charged for chilies and hot sauce.
It would be nice to provide them without a charge as the food was priced a little higher.
We had a total of 4 people , 3 of them liked hot (spicy) food. One person was not able to eat very hot (spicy) food. So getting chilies for the 3 and ordering mild food made sense.
Thank you for a spectacular evening! We had a great waiter (Hardeep i believe), who knew the menu and wine list in detail. Great experience and will definitely be returning.
Nice place with delicious food. Service was great.
It was lovely coming back and bringing our guest along with us. Always a pleasure to come back and try out a new delicacy!
delicious food! modern twist on indian classics. Lovely decor and professional service. Try the tasting menu... very nice.... We hope this place does well considering the location.
Only the Kebabs/tandoori items were great. Main course food was average. Make sure you carry a phone which has torch light as you will need it to just go through the menu. Saying that the place is dark will be understatement.
Go for there kebabs, they are good.
Service was attentive and they accommodated our needs well. Were not prepared for the requests we had made - high chair was not ready and they didn’t acknowledge the occasion we had booked for. Tasting menu was good - but a lot of food. We couldn’t finish through the mains.
It was my mum’s birthday and my family had a lovely meal together. Look forward to celebrating more meals at Kolkata Club!
The food was good . The only downside to point is that I found the noise levels a bit too disturbing. There was one person standing next to kitchen shouting out the take away order to kitchen staff. That was ruining the overall ambience and eating experience as my guest were constantly distracted by his loud volume. Felt like seating in a food court and hope the restaurant is able to figure out a better way to manage the dinning guest and take away orders.
I asked about the Candle light dinner but wasn’t there at all! It was a special occasion with my Girlfriend but couldn’t get the actual experience of candle light dinner!
It was overall a great experience, loved the ambience, food and the value. I have 4/5, for the customer service. We had to wait almost 30-40 minutes for the food to arrivr with no update on the ETA. Other than that it was a value added meal!
Amazing food and perfect ambiance. The best indian food i had in a long time. You should definetly try the Jalebi chaat, lamb chops, laal maas, butter chicken.
Excellent food and service! Would go back again and again - and again. I was dining alone because my friend was taken ill at the last minute. I did not feel awkward at all, with the attentive and friendly service. I relished the jalebi chaat, loved the sweet and sour eggplant (I forget the correct name), and the mint and chilli parantha (sp?) that I paired it with. I washed it all down with excellent Kolkata Mule. Next time, I will also have dessert, but this time I was happily stuffed already!
Excellent quality! The Smoky Butter Chicken is solidly in my top three best in this category. The Jalebi Chaat is so tasty and beautifully presented. Try a Kolkata Mule - a tasty but dangerously easy to drink take on the classic. Service is top notch too!
The service was disappointing. Appetizers came after 20-25mins and the remaining dinner came in parts as well. It kinda ruined the experience.
From the photos, the restaurant seemed original in terms of the menu and ambience. Unfortunately, the place just didn’t deliver. The food presentation was mediocre, taste was average and the service was okay.
It was a surprise date for my boyfriend, and it turned out great, as he mentioned he’d like to come back here again!
Enjoyed the fine Indian cuisine. The ambiance and service was great as well. We will definitely go there again.
Wonderful Indian fusion restaurant in the heart of Mississauga. Modern contemporary design and comfortable seating really creates an upscale but relaxed atmosphere.
Food was creative, well spiced and cooked perfectly. The gulab jamun donut was incredible.
Incredible experience. Great vibe, delicious food, impeccable service. Most Indian restaurants don’t invest in training their front of the house staff. This place is all about good service and good food. Old club culture in an elevated dining room.
Awesome food & Service .. highly recommend this place..
Delicious food and excellent service. One of our new favourites and will be coming back and bringing friends soon!
Deliciously different and out of the ordinary Indian restaurant. Like my friend said, the menu items may sound similar to an Indian restaurant but the taste was out of the world.
