Koocha was founded in 2018 as Bristol’s first totally vegan restaurant – a plant pioneer, we’ve led the way for animal-free cuisine across the city.

What really sets us apart though is the big, unexpected and delicious spices and flavours from Persia and the Middle East that infuse every dish in our bountiful menu.

Unsurprisingly, it was all amazing. Each dish was very different and they all complimented each other so well. Probably the favourites were the artichoke dip, corn ribs and the cheesecake...but really, it was the combo of everything together that was so great. Definitely one to go with friends and share! I went with my Dad who eats meat and he LOVED it too! As we left, we kept spotting more and more dishes that we didn't have that also looked amazing. Can't wait to go back when we're next in Bristol 🌱

As usual with Koocha the food was amazing! So much flavour and so many great options. The service was top notch too, we had one of our party joining about 20/30 minutes late and they still made sure they received their food at the same time as the rest of us. Jas (we think the correct spelling) was great and she was very friendly.

Became a bit too noisy to hear each other .The food was lovely , the service was good and all the staff were charming but they were v busy and a bit stretched . Also a minor detail but they were out of the Pinot and said there wasn’t a mixed salad ?. In fact there was . It’s a great place and very popular ,an asset to the area .

Lovely selection of Persian and Mediterranean dishes. Spoilt for choice,. Our dishes came our beautifully presented, colourful, hot and very tasty. Lovely food and fabulous service. My non-vegan friend didn't miss meat at all because the flavours are so good. Great taste to every dish we tried. Service was friendly and we were made to feel really welcome. Especially helpful with allergy queries and awareness. Excellent all round and highly recommended.

Very lovely experience! I’m not a vegan myself so it was a new experience for me to try vegan food, but the food was absolutely incredible We couldn’t decide as it all sounded so good, so ended up ordering 4/5 different mezze dishes as well as a large dish too and it all tasted amazing. The staff were lovely and helpful, very quick with drinks and food. Fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back to try everything else we missed!

We were in Bristol to see an exhibition with friends and having travelled all the way from West Dorset we were looking forward to eating some amazing vegan food. Koocha did not disappoint! The food was delicious & the service was friendly and welcoming (shout out to Jas & Chloe!). Our 12 year old loved the houmous, breads, chilli corn, tatziki, cauliflower and baklava (which is amazing, as by her own admission, she is super fussy!). She was also very pleased with the hot chocolate 😊 We loved everything about our visit and will definitely be returning next time we are in Bristol.

The food was delicious and all the staff were very friendly, would visit again. We arrived slightly early for our table and had mezze, followed by coffee and dessert. We didn’t delay in ordering, yet we were told the table was needed back just after delivering the desserts and coffee, which meant we had 5 minutes to have the coffee and dessert. I understand the need to flip tables, but please allow a minimum amount of time for people to finish eating or it ruins a lovey experience!

This is officially my favourite place to eat in Bristol. I came here for a feast with friends and the vegans and non vegans in the group were equally blown away by the dishes and all the effort that went into making each one. Such colourful delicious food, dreamy cocktails and cheerful staff. If I lived closer I’d be there every week! Thank you Koocha! The fried oyster mushrooms were incredible and gobbled down in seconds.

Koocha is always a delight. The servers are wonderful and friendly, welcoming and extremely efficient. The food is uniquely delicious and moreish. We always take our dog Mr Smithers with us and he is always welcomed with open arms. I love going to Koocha and will go again and again.
