   We arrived at 3:45pm and there were several seats available. I was informed there was a party of 10 so we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. I then made a reservation for the next available time of 4:45. The party of 10 never arrived. A couple came in just as I walked in for my then reserved time, they didn’t have reservations and was told I can seat you. They were seated before me. I asked the host why was I still waiting she then stated oh yeah I forgot. Once seated our waitress was very late arriving to the table and then most of the items we ordered wasn’t available. All of the food didn’t come out at once. Our fries came out first. We were done the fries and tator tots by the time the burgers got to the table. Last but not least I ordered my children a cookies and cream shake which was $30, they took it to the wrong table then brought it to me. I asked to have it made over and the waitress had an attitude. Overall the service was horrible. There’s no order. For the amount of money we pay to eat here there should be better service. I won’t be returning.

   It appeared that our server was new, or was just an inexperienced. He did not communicate with us that the milkshake machine was down, nor when we told him it was down- Did he come back to confirm whether or not our milkshake order we placed would be honored or if we were no longer going to be able to get them. He forgot my husband’s whole order. But brought out food for the rest of us. The server forgot a soda that we ordered, when they finally brought up my husband’s food it didn’t even taste good. I hope they improve their service as time progresses.

   Milkshake machine broke while we were waiting our food (each dish) came out at different times my drink came second to the last our waitress seemed uninterested in answering my questions and gave sarcastic responses when I asked for the rest of the visit she made the whole experience worse I was really disappointed because I had been looking forward to visiting for months

   Very small restaurant and very over priced. Bill was almost most $100 for just burgers and fries the milkshake was a whopping $30 also if you don’t ask about taking your cup they won’t even say Nothing. For a $30 milkshake I want my cup/glass that I paid for!!

   Terrible!!!!! Me and my girlfriend went here because we saw a good advertisement on TikTok about the restaurant. When we arrived we immediately got sitted which we were excited about. We sat there for about 20 minutes with no waiter, then happen see someone else get sitted and immediately gotten served! After 30-35 Minutes I had to say something to someone in order for someone to help us. we received two cups of water and The waitress only said “Sorry for the wait”. She took our order and stated she would be back shortly with the drinks, The drinks then Took Another 30 minutes to come out. We were very on edge about eating here because Of such Poor customer service. We then waited but couldn’t take it any longer so we left and didn’t get to eat the food.

   Food was really great! Burgers with kook sauce were amazing, hot wings were good! The salsa was ok and should be bigger but the chips were really good. The $7 margaritas was good. Only down side was they were out of milkshakes so the kids were really bummed about it.

    Me and my children experience was terrible . 1hr wait for food . French fries came out before burgers and they were cold. Very like and foul language being used by a part next to us (14) ppl . Server never checked on us only to get drinks and pay check

    Hubby is a burger aficionado he was in awe the the taste and presentation. He loved the Broski! I enjoyed the Kalifornia burger but the show stopper? The loaded onion rings with bbq sauce on the side! I’m not a fan of bbq sauce and these babies don’t need it! The drinks and beer are slightly pricey but hey, I guess.

    We waited 50 minutes for our meal to arrive. We had 6pm reservations on a Sunday night. It was not overly crowded. Burgers were fine, once they arrived. I enjoyed the cobb salad. It was the slow service that discourages me from going again

    They were a little behind in seating scheduling, but the manager and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We had to be out by a certain time, and we were. We were even offered a drink on the house. I would highly recommend this spot. The vibe, and energy was just right..

    The service was extremely friendly but very slow. We received our appetizer 10 minutes after our burgers came out. The food was fine, nothing amazing but good enough. The prices are insanely high for what you are getting. The burgers don’t come with fries, the margaritas are in very small glasses packed with ice so you only get 4-5 sips for $13. In total we had 3 cocktails, 2 burgers, 1 order of fries and our total was $91. I would have no problem paying that for great food but this was not that. You’re much better off going to Red Robin.

    The service was bad, the drinks we ordered was horrible. We order Don Julio Respo margaritas it wasn’t that in the margaritas. The margarita flights are not made fresh those were nasty as well.

    Disappointing at best. Everything was overpriced and the quality was fair. at best. I’ve had much better hamburgers at other restaurants where they don’t nickel and dime you for the bun, cheese and extra ketchup. And don’t even get me started on the $30 milkshakes. They look nothing like the photos on the website and certainly weren’t good enough to warrant the cost. If you are looking to drink the worst margarita in the world, then feel free to order one here. Awful! And the final straw was the 2% kitchen fee and 3% credit card fee that was charged on the bill when it came. When I asked the manager about these fees, he claimed that lots of restaurants are now doing this. When I mentioned that I’ve never been to any restaurant that charged these fees and told him that I’ve been to many restaurants in the city, he argued that I was mistaken. It cost over $50 per person for dinner, and that was for 3 adults and 3 small children. Total rip off!

    We came for dinner before going to see the ballet with my daughter and her friend from dance. Food was good. Service was kind of slow, but everyone was very nice. The Shoobie Shakes we’re delicious, but pretty pricey ($30). I wish there was an option to get them without having to bring the souvenir cup back. We did ask for ours to be rinsed and someone brought us out “clean” ones…but without the logo on the cup. Overall, we’d definitely come back for a date night. The atmosphere was fun!

    Kook Burger & Bar is a work in progress: our server was attentive, but our order was slow to come out of the kitchen. This wouldn't have been an issue except we were there for a casual business lunch* and some of our group had to get back to the office for a meeting. The food itself was good--I like smash-style burgers, the onion rings were nice and crispy, and the poutine-style fries were flavorful and as crispy as they could be considering they were covered in poutine! One of our diners did splurge for a make-your-own milkshake (she did Oreo + mint), which was delicious, but needed a wider straw. Pro tip: Bring cash to avoid the credit card fee. *Great location for those working in the office towers in Center City!

    We only waited a few minutes s for our table and the services was good the man was very nice and patient with us when ordering. The food took a little while to come out but it was worth the wait because everything was very good all 8 of us enjoyed our meals. The milkshakes are DELICIOUS 10/10 great restaurant to go to

    The burgers, fries, milkshakes, and beers (mostly from Wissahickon Brewing at the moment) are fantastic. There was a good crowd there when we went on a Saturday night. The "regular" milkshakes were great and next time we'll split one of the deluxe milkshakes. Kook's hasn't been open very long and there was a minor hiccup in service, but without us saying anything, the staff realized the mistake and bent over backwards to make it right - that's the attitude that will keep us coming back. Welcome to the neighborhood!
