Kook Korean BBQ

We’ve been wanting to go to Kook for awhile now and it did not disappoint! The servers are so friendly and the food is also delicious! Highly recommend getting the combos since it comes with the side dishes that make a beautiful spread!

We got the Premium Meat Combo A to share between 4 people. Added bibimbap and Kkhanpungi as well. The meat is pretty tender, and you can ask for extra orders of lettuce as well! The Galbi was definitely my favourite and their bibimbab was so good too (very tasty!).

This was a great experience. The food was awesome and very fresh. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is in my neighborhood!! Which is a bonus. I will definitely go back again!

Modern bbq place using down drifting ventilation, which is a very good experience without over smoking. The smoky smell always follow you home from older bbq restaurant!
Service sure is top rated.

Price also very reasonable.

Quality of the meat is very good too .

Dinner at Kook is ALWAYS amazing but this time it was just incredible. The food was wonderful and Alice made our night. I would plan to go for dinner when she is working simply because she made our experience elevated to an even higher level. Great food and even better service!

so..... as Korean BBQ goes in vancouver I would say awsome!! we need more kbq !
the meat was insanely well marinated . short ribs and bulgogi were perfect. And the menu will bring you back for more... good service, nice staff if your on the east side
and need some meat this is the place to go!!!

Really amazing food - we got the combo for four, and it was more than we needed! Such awesome quality, and amazing side dishes. We also got the Japchae made vegetarian, seafood pancake and tteokkbokki. All of it was phenomenal!
The only critique was that our servers didn’t come and change the grill for us, so we had some pretty charred meat, but I’m chalking it up to the fact that we were non-stop grilling.

Will definitely be going back to enjoy an amazing night out.

Even though I mentioned it was for a birthday and person who had a birthday was pregnant, no special treatment was offered.

It’s always a blast to go to Kook, especially when it comes to needing to blow off steam during a pandemic.

Everyone from the servers to the manager/owner are very polite and make this my favourite Korean restaurant. Definitely recommend!

I attended this restaurant with friends. We originally wanted to go to KOOK on a Saturday and we were told there was an hour wait. We accepted this, and 15 minutes before the hour was ending, we were told it would be another 45mins. We decided to go somewhere else and rebooked for a table on Tuesday. During this time we booked online and touched base with restaurant to indicated we had a large party that needed to be split in half. I was told I would get a call back, but never did so I had to call the restaurant again. Finally they confirmed our large group reservation with split tables. Then I got a call again from KOOK to confirm separate tables. Our issues is lots of miscommunication between staff members and what is being told to customers.

Thank goodness the food and service made up for the lack of communication. The price of food was good and we were able to split between our large group for a fair price. Everything tasted amazing and definitely enjoy the ‘vibes’ of the restaurant. We were glad we gave it a second try and we will be back... with a reservation this time

Combo meals were great and the portions for 4 people were adequate enough for 5 people to feel satisfied with 2 extra dishes on the side (one pancake and a meat). Table size was small and felt cramped but they were prepared in terms of covid-19 precautions and included hand sanitizer, socially distanced seating, employees wearing masks, and provided wipes for the table for cleaning. It was a great experience overall.

All good except abit smelly due to bbq. Should have better exhaust fan.

first time in kook korean bbq like the food and service it’s was a nice idea with the Ringer on the table so you don’t have to call for the waiter...👍🏼 definitely coming back 😘

fun and lively atmosphere for drinking. Food was good, also because they give multiple selections of side dishes.
Only complaint would be the size of the tables are quite small, not ideal when eating kbbq because you need two hands to make lettuce wraps. Max 6 people can fit but quite tight.

Great value and great service from the staff. Best selection of unlimited side dishes for a Korean BBQ restaurant and their combos offer more than enough food for the number in your party. Highly recommend for group dinners!

We came here for my mom’s birthday and it is our second time at this restaurant. Service is excellent and the food is very good as well. We ordered the 4 person combo and it gives us some variety. We also ordered the spicy tofu soup and the deep fried chicken which were very good. We will definitely come back.

We celebrated 3 family member’s birthday at Kook the other day! I made reso for 630pm, we didn’t get seated till 7pm, however, the staff was friendly and apologetic. The food was incredible and the presentation was great :). We had 8 people, so ordered combo C + one of the spicy hotspot.

Everyone was quite pleased (except for my nephew, he loved the meat but didn’t really like the rest lol). The bill was economical as well! We will definitely be back to try other menu items!
