I gave this resto 3 stars over all because the ambiance wasn't great. It was very cold in there because they had to leave the doors open because the kitchen staff burned something and they needed to get rid of the smoke. It seemed to lack intimacy as well. Now the service was top notch. Our server was very attentive and personable. It was a pleasure to have him as our server. The food was great! The chicken souvlaki was seasoned perfectly and it was so tender. The tzatziki was great, not too bland or too garlicky...just perfect. The salads were great. The baba ghanoush (eggplant dip) was fantastic, and our server gave us half pita and half cucumbers. Those cucumber were so fresh and crispy! My son ordered the beef/gyro plate. It was very good. I loved the gyro. My son missed a bit of sauce or vegetable with it however. My husband ordered the lamb shanks which were very tender and flavorful. The sauce on the shanks, however, was a bit too spicy for my husband, but I liked it! I think my only complaint about the food was my martini. It was a shot in a martini glass with a skewer of olives. The martini was not full to the top or at least 3/4 full! It was the strangest martini I ever had and disappointing for $13.00. I added water to bring it to an actual full glass, but it was diluted and gross. I should have complained , but did not. I would come back here only because the food was stellar and our waiter was stellar. Probably won't order another martini again...or I'll be very assertive about what I expect my martini to be, lol!

Our dinner and service was amazing!!!! Ines provided world class customer service for our date night. We had visited prior for Winterlicious and were excited to see what the Summerlicious menu would be. Everything was delicious....we ordered Appetizers: calamari, 5 Dips with pita bread Mains: lamb souvlaki, spicy shrimp and chicken pasta with penne Dessert: Baklava and a chocolate Ines even made us a special date night virgin daiquiri....it was very good

Food was very good but not a fancy place. We didn’t know Toronto well so didn’t know the area. Good for a casual dinner but not date night place. Or maybe I’m getting snobby I don’t know. Good food and moderate prices for sure.

We enjoyed our meal at Krystos. There could have been more lamb meat balls but the 4 I had were tasty especially with the tzatziki sauce. My appetizer of feta in a phyllo pastry with honey was delicious. I didn't have any desert but I took my baklava home and my husband said that it was very tasty. It's going to be on my list of restaurants to go to.

While the service was fine, the meal was below average for the price point. Greek Salad and Greek Fries tasted like it was salad dressing drenched over it, and chicken souvlaki didn't have much flavour. Had high hopes, but unfortunately wasn't too happy with the result.

Very nice restaurant. Food is always fresh. My wife and I have never had a disappointing meal here. Prices are fairly reasonable and very affordable especially during the summer and winterlicious events. Would definitely return over and over again.

Great place to checkout for summerlicious. The food was pretty good and a good portion size. The place is casual and inviting. There is a patio as well. Service was quick and friendly.
