As you step inside you’ll be transported by the Santorini aesthetic where fresh ingredients hit your senses and human interaction is a refreshing priority. Kyma’s airy, whitewashed wood design balanced by European stucco, evoke the stylized spirit of the Greek Islands. Generous seating at long white wooden tables are lined with plush, white canvas cushions. We do have a DJ for your entertainment on Thursdays in the main room and on Fridays & Saturdays our dinner party starts at approximately 8:30pm. We do have a DJ for our dinner parties and the music does increase in volume and become more upbeat as the night progresses. Please note: you must be 21 years of age to enter during our DJ hours. Groups of 8+ looking to join our dinner parties are required to participate in a prefix menu as a memorable dining experience and delicious food is our number one priority! We eat at Kyma regularly and it's always great. The food is consistently excellent, the service is always terrific, and the ambiance is always warm and welcoming. The outside is now open and it's beautiful. Kyma works well for business meetings, groups, or just lunch with a friend. Go and enjoy!

The waiter was phenomenal!!!!!!! he was so kind to my mother-in-law, and that made impression on all of us at our table.!!!!! we would definitely go back just because of the waiter and of course the food!!!!!

We had dined at Kyma in the past and enjoyed the food. However, our recent brunch experience was sub-par. We waited 45 minutes for a cup of coffee (which was delivered with it spilled all over the saucer). It took over an hour for the food to come out, and when it did it was lukewarm. I had the Greek omelet which had no seasoning. It took forever for a second cup of coffee. My friend gave up asking for a second glass of wine. The manager and waitress apologized and explained "we just got really busy." Yes... but isn't that fairly common at a restaurant? If they are not staffed to handle a busy restaurant, they should not accept that many reservations. The manager did try to make things right and took items off our bill. But in the end, we would have been happy to pay the price of a full meal; we just wanted to enjoy our brunch and Kyma did not make that possible.

Vibes and setup were all amazing!! Food was a disappointment i spent 55$ on Lobster pasta for it to be tough and chewy i barely ate any and all they did was bring free shots for the inconvenience .

Planned a birthday celebration for Saturday afternoon and at first was seated by the hostess at the bar and then eventually in the front of the restaurant where there are just a few tables. Was told that the main restaurant was filled with large parties. Don’t take reservations if you can’t seat people in the dining room! There were plenty of restaurant options available when I booked this place and they basically ruined our experience and my daughters birthday

It was so loud you could not hear each other. The service we NOT good. We had to keep asking for utensils and other things constantly. I have been to the Kyma in Roselyn and their service and 100% better than the one in Flatiron.

Don’t be fooled — food is unimpressive and uninspired, and service was terrible. I will be surprised if this place survives despite the present crowds and challenges for a reservation — the ‘hip place’ star will fade and there is nothing else to fall back on.

For NYC standards, food was very mediocre and overpriced for what it is. I wouldn’t come here for the food. I came here with a group of out of town visitors and honestly embarrassed because it did not uphold the standard for NYC quality dining. Noise level was way too high- felt like we were shouting the entire dinner. It was so warm in the restaurant I was starting to feel nauseated but I did ask the server to keep the air on and thankfully management complied which I appreciated. Overall, quite disappointed in the quality/ value of food and unfortunately I would not return or recommend.

Not my first time at Kyma I wanted to take friends to somewhere for great food, ambiance & service. I was thrilled it was just as great as my last visit. The food was perfect and we had a great time even though we were only I of 2 tables that we, let’s say, over 60 🤫

Kyma is truly one of the best restaurants in NYC. The food and service are consistently excellent and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The spanokopita, the salmon burger, the lavraki, and the desserts are all wonderful. A wonderful dining experience is guaranteed at Kyma. Go and enjoy!

Super upset about my experience at Kyma tonight. We were celebrating an anniversary and we were looking forward to the night. However the service was absolutely horrendous. Nobody even offered us water for what felt like forever, drinks were also slow as well. The restaurant was also not that busy and the servers were just sitting around. I also had to send my lamb racks back. I ordered medium rare and it definitely came out well done. I have never sent back food at a restaurant so this was very upsetting to try to celebrate a special occasion but having a bad experience at a restaurant. We have been to Kyma once awhile ago and had a lovely experience the restaurant must have gone down hill since then. Sad to see will not be back.

Food was good. The halibut was excellent. Beet salad & calamari were ok nothing crazy. Fries were not good. Ambiance is nice. Our server kinda disappeared after taking our food order. Didn’t check on us once. Luckily another sweet lady stepped in & helped him.

Staff was simply not prepared. They didn’t know the menu. Didn’t know/understand what we ordered. Didn’t know how to space out the food. Sadly, I came with high hopes because I go to the Roslyn location a lot and am always pleased there. But this experience was really unfortunate. The food was off, sloppy presentation and the food runner essentially threw it at us - didn’t even ask and slid food from one app plate to another to “I guess to save space” but didn’t ask, or explain. Just rude. Your wait staff was over their head. Terrible service. I had a bottle of Ovilos, and it was not cold and your server overfilled all of the glasses (as an aside, I had my 18 year old nephew at my table, server blindly poured him a glass and didn’t even ask about age - I clarified to him that he was underage and I took the glass away). My server told my guest, “We have no cold beer” when he ordered a Fix. The waiter said, he put some on ice to chill them for us. 20 minutes went by. Brought the fix and it was actually HOT. Obviously he didn’t put it on ice. I ordered two bottles of flat water, asked the waitress for another bottle. She brings sparkling and proceeds to pour it over our flat water completely oblivious to what was going on. I think the staff overall is probably better suited to be assistants/food runners/bussers and actual lead servers need to be hired.

It was first impression when you are received at restaurant, concierge was not friendly. She talked to me that she was doing me a favor. ( I was 10 minutes early ). The bar was fine & young man who served me was pleasant & meanwhile my friend joined me we got our drinks & young lady at bar in a rushing tone asked me that they have change of shift so clear my bill. I think that’s very rude as we had just sat down she was demanding at her end to be cleared. Never happened to me & I have seen the world. The meal was delicious & servers were lovely pleasant & was gracious to explain couple of platters & being a vegan explained in details. That’s my Feed back. Thank you

This is my favorite casual restaurant in NYC. Fabulous Greek cuisine, generous portions, terrific wine list. The grilled octopus is outstanding. The omletes are perfect. Loved the clientele and staff. Don't miss this place.

My husband and I went to Kyma for dinner the day after he had been there for lunch. He loved the lunch and we loved the dinner. For lunch, the spanokopita was terrific and the salmon burger was the best he has ever had (the second time he has had it). For dinner, the halibut was wonderful and the side of lemon potatoes was truly delicious. My dinner of saganaki and seafood in orzo was just great. We will continue to go to Kyma regularly because it really is one of the best restaurants in NYC, for food, service, and ambiance. Thank you, Kyma! See you soon!

The DJ was good, but the Saturday day night we went (for a friends bday) was a little less of the hype we were expecting. The food was okay. The service was good. We were kind of rushed from our table. As it does get very busy. The dancing on chairs is what I was expecting - it didn’t happen. I may come again at a later time.
