At La Bartola, we inspire a passion for authentic Mexican flavours. We use simple, fresh, and high-quality local & Mexican ingredients to craft delicious and thoughtful food. Our unique dishes can be paired with our curated list of Mezcal, cocktails, Mexican-style beer, and beer on tap. With our dishes rooted in authentic Mexican flavours and traditions from a plant-based perspective, we are certain you will leave feeling both satisfied and inspired.
In 2022 we were awarded by the Michelin Guide with the Bib Gourmand, being the first Canadian fully plant-based restaurant with such a distinction.

    Amazing service. Food was really tasty and flavourful. I wanted to order one of the tacos from the fix prix menu but they said I couldn't even though my husband and I absolutely loved it. It was an appetizer in the fix prix menu. That's ok maybe we can have more some day :) overall, food and drinks were amazing! Staff was so polite.

    Great food. Innovative food. Excellent service. We are not vegetarians at all but this was a great experience. Much like amazing sushi, nothing I could do at home, nothing I could imagine - so was surprising, beautiful presentation, service was attentive and informed and most importantly, everything was delicious. We will be back - most likely on a regular basis.

    Absolutely an extraordinary experience in taste, service and ambiance. The food was stunning, plated so beautifully. Service was bang on with a Spanish speaking staff. They explained the plates as they were being served and were all such genuine lovely people. The decor and ambiance was modern, a bit of fun mixed with some culture.

    Amazing experience. First time dining at La Bartola and it’s an absolute 5/5. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there tonight and we enjoyed everything from the food, to the service and the atmosphere. We had the tasting menu with 3 courses and a drink sampler and it was all delicious. We even got to meet the chef, Ivan, who is the genius behind this concept. Pd. I see a few bad reviews about this place but they sound like nonsense. “Expensive, vegan, small portions…” well, you can check all of that beforehand to avoid surprises. Don’t be a bad customer just because you didn’t do your research.

    May I suggest upgrading the patio with some large plants. The patio looks like a room where the roof flew off. I wish the patio was dog friendly.
