    The food at La Bodeguita De Mima was wonderful as always, but our server Alex made our lunch extra special! He was quick to answer questions with exuberance and his knowledge of the menu helped us to try a few different selections. Thanks Alex!

    Amazing food. Like, maybe the best food I've had in a while. Everything we ordered was good, but the papas reillanos, the ropa vieja en lata, and the Cubano were out-of-this-world good. We also ordered the tres leches cake and it was incredible. We will for sure come back again and try other items. Our server was also great, all of his recommendations were spot on, he was fast and personable, and when he didn't know something, he was honest and found out for us. I wish I could give this place more stars.

    The food and drinks were fantastic. The kitchen got meals out quickly. The vibe was great with Latin dance music inside and acoustic music on the patio (which is where we sat). Highly recommend!

    We had the BEST experience!! We had a flat tire and had to ask for an extended grace period, they kindly accommodated us. Christina was our server and was fabulous! We were rushing to make Wicked due to our unexpected lateness and the server and manger brought our food out as it was prepared. They made our evening so perfect and I’m so grateful! The food was on point, as usual. Order all the appetizers, you won’t regret it!!

    Amazing food! It was our last meal on a trip to Louisville and it was the best. Try the plantain nachos. And the empanadas. And the black beans and rice… very authentic. Service was great too!

    Once we were seated the food and service was amazing. However we were turned away because they were no longer seating walk-ins. I was able to get a reservation on open table and immediately seated which was an odd experience.

    Outstanding! Was in Louisville for the weekend and this was the highlight of my trip. Excellent service and the BEST mojitos I have ever had! Food was delicious. A must visit when in town!

    We randomly found this highly rated restaurant on Yelp, and it did not disappoint! From the yummy drinks (a Pina colada with toasted coconut on the rim!!!) to the amazing entrees, to our precious Cuban waitress! From start to finish, it was DELICIOUS! We will definitely return to this great spot next time we're in Louisville.

    The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the outdoor seating in the back among several beautiful potted plants and flowers had the feeling of a breezy lounge in Havana. I highly recommend this restaurant!

    La Bodegita De Mima is hands down my favorite place to go to in town. The ambience of the environment and the high quality food is so worth it for the cost. Churrasco is my favorite to order but I’ve been with multiple friends and family who have ordered different things and everyone always loves it. Food and drinks are superb! 10/10 reccommend!

    Second visit was such a disappointment when compared to the first. Beer wasn’t cold and meats were dry to the point of being near inedible. Surprised the server didn’t notice that the meat in two entrees were barely touched. I will not let this visit influence returning, I just hope that this was “off night” for this nice restaurant.

    The atmosphere was fantastic! Authentic Cuban food of course but even down to the waiters. 😍 Everyone’s food was delicious. I am a sucker for fried plantains and they were especially good. Our appetizer was the Cubanchos, highly recommend with pork! My pork entree had a crispy outside with an inside juicy and full of flavor. The Habano de chocolate dessert came out in a smoking cigar box. The presentation of all the food was on point. There was an occasional loud song in the music and some pesky flys around because it was a beautiful evening and the doors were open to the patio. I’d still highly recommend this restaurant and give it a solid A!
